Do not go there everytime I go there to cash a check from my employer I am being questioned and I go there frequently Gisella the teller always have an issue with me like the checks that I bring aren't legit I have called corporate on this issue I'm not sure we're the discrimination comes from but I will get to the bottom of it!

Easy and convenient. I usually am able to handle all transactions with ATM. It does accept both cash and check deposits.

Started a savings account and lost money because I didn't have enough activity. Thought the reason to have a savings account is to not touch it if you don't have to .... Closed my account and will use a bank that I can earn interest.

It's my bank for business and personal use. I like my bank.

I went to change a check with my work permit from the United States as I always do in the other banks, and a white girl cashier who treated me very badly at 1:20 p.m. today on Friday 02-08-2019 and She told me that this was not an identification ID, I explained that the valid work permits are also valid since I can even travel with that and she said no, I told her I wanted to talk to her supervisor because she was doubtful in the answer that he was going to give me and even doubtful and he told me no ... total that everything in that bank was a NO. I do not understand as if they seek to compete with other giant banks have that quality of service so lousy. total that I could not do anything. I do not recommend anyone to go to that bank that only go by emergency of rest do not take it into account.

Of all people to have a typo on his Economic Impact Payment, wouldn't you know it would have to be me. Both checks were made payment out to ASAM WISDOM. For starters, nobody in the history of mankind was ever named ASAM. How on earth did the Treasury misspell ADAM? It is literally the first human name! But, I digress. South State Bank and I go way back to the days of First Federal. The tellers always treated me with respect and made a stressful situation seem like no big deal. I've been out of work for 8 months and the money is being used for it's intended purpose.

So aggravated! I will never recommend this bank again! My bad! My daughter & her boyfriend moved here from Missouri and I recommended this Bank due to having used it to make deposits for a company that I worked for. He opened the account made a deposit and they were going to hold it for so many days (which is understandable), he then got his first paycheck (2 wks ago), needing cash he went to the bank to make a deposit and get some cash and they would not let him, they made him deposit the full amount which left him 0 dollars for gas and food for 2 more weeks!! He works for a legitimate company who is well known in this area! They put a hold on it for 30 days! Ridiculous! Yesterday, he went to the bank with his 2nd paycheck (pd every 2 wks) to make a deposit and get some cash and of course would not let him have any cash!!! They made him deposit the whole check! Crazyyyyy!! They move here to get a new start, he works his butt off for a whole month and to still not have a dime to his name. Come on, holding his money for a month, is ridiculous! Couldn't you have called the company he works for just to make sure that it was legit? Especially after asking you if he could have just a few dollars to get him by for 2 more wks until his next paycheck? At least you made money off of his money....#banksalwayswin
