Southern Bank Us Hwy, Forsyth

Was charged 22 dollars for checks that were supposed to be free with the account. They fixed that. They froze my account for 72 hours ( they told me it was a 24 hour freeze, but they have no weekend card service, so it was longer than that.) I got an email about a fraud alert on my account, then another email saying the prior email was a "system error" and to ignore the message. All within the 1st 30 days. I was looking for a local bank, but changed my mind about this one.

Recently moved all my accounts to this bank. Service is excellent; similar to prior years hometown banks. On our recent loan Mr. Gailey called when he said would, met when he said he would and treated us as though we were his top priority. I would recommend the bank with zero reservation.

Have always been a great bank. They treat us like family. Any problems we have ever had they have helped to solve them. The manager who was leaving for the night unlocked the building and went back in to help us. Open an account and get to know them and you will realize this yourself.

I was sent over by the gentleman at The Kar Lot with express instruction to talk to Racine. Apparently I was no less than an annoyance to her. She didn't even glance at the paperwork. She wasn't even polite when she simply looked me in the eye and stated.. "if you don't have a 700 credit score, we can't help you". I literally wasn't in her office for more than a minute. This snobbish, rude attitude is EXACTLY why I don't like banks. Well, with a 680 credit score, I can bet that I can find someone who's more than willing to spend more than 60 seconds dealing with me.

We have a checking account and have always been treated with a friendly and helpful attitude . Recently needed a loan and were pleasantly surprised at the low interest rate. Can't beat the 3% interest on the checking account.

Southern Bank in Forsyth Missouri. When I walk into and through the double doors. I can be confident & assured I am with the best Banking family in Southern Missouri. Even during Cov-19 Drive through window only. This group handled every transaction with patience with grace! Always with smiles and eager to help. Kayla on three occasions came out into the rain so that I could sign papers so that I could stay dry. I can at just about anytime speak with Mike B with the loan office. With Mike I have every confidence in him! Because his attention and interest is focused on me. I could go on to so many other experiences at Southern Bank in Forsyth Missouri!! And this is why I give our Bank, My Bank A five Star Rating. Thanks again Southern Bank Family.

I've never seen a bank not care about their customer as much as this one. I wrote a check for the 26th and they allowed it to get cashed the 25th. This caused my first and only overdraft which they charged me $25 for. In my years of banking this has never been a problem before so I called their customer service that said I was screwed and if I wanted more information go to my local branch. So I did and they told me what happened and how. I get it but not even willing to wave the fee once and not showing any care or understanding just makes it a place I refuse to do banking with. Closed my account today and recommend staying away from them.

I just opened a checking account here. Sabrine Biggs has been extremely helpful in assisting me with the mobile app and the qwerks with the Access ID set up.

Austin at your Forsyth branch is incompetent and dishonest. Every branch has different guidelines that they follow. When you call the Forsyth number you get the Poplar Bluff location and they're about like overseas support. It's difficult doing business with a company that has such low standards for employees and the customer care they provide.
