Lightning Pawn S Commercial St, Branson

Tried to buy an amplifier for my home studio. I’m well versed in my musical equipment and knew they had no idea what it was. You’d be lucky to sell one of these even online. I offered $70 the unit is worth $80. They said they could do $88. I said okay I’ll still take it. My credit card proceed to be declined. The cashier did absolutely nothing even tho I knew my card was good. As I was walking out a staff member said the credit card machine was down. They proceeded to let me walk out the door. Must have thought I was broke… I wonder why …

Absolutely terrible experience every time I walk in this place. They want to charge you $3 for a piece of paper to get your pawn back. Prices are absolutely not very reasonable. Steer clear of this place.

Had a great experience both times I've worked with them. I was able to trade my older guitar and an older amp for a pedal I've been on the search for. Super awesome of them. Also got my firearm from here, fast, easy, and nothing seemed absurdly priced.

5 stars on how nice and organized they were by far the best one I have seen. The negative comes in with prices, there was a nice amount of stuff that was to close to the price it was new and the items were not in that good of shape. I even found a couple items that were price the same as what they were brand new. The quality vs price of the items was a 2 star. I understand it's a business and they need to make money, though they lost my business because was too much money.

These guys are super professional, polite, they know what they are doing and its a great shop. They have a good selection of music and tools and are they are real friendly and courteous, stayed late to finish the deal. They have the resources to do high-end stuff, policies are clear. Face it when you're hocking something it's not the best day and it's nice to know that you'll be treated respectfully, I highly recommend these guys.

Everytime I go in there, they all say hello and always have smiles on their faces. Great prices too. I sometimes have to take my laptop in and they take amazing care of it and my laptop is a rare one because its camo and Walmart only had them for a limited time. They remember their customers, maybe not by the names but by the faces and that is good.

Hands down the worst pawn shop in Branson, they underprice everything you try to sell them and anything they do buy they turn around and over charge for it just a bunch of scam artists under one roof, 10/10 would not recommend this pawn shop..

Was struggling to pay my bills due to covid. They gave me a fair price on my guns and a reasonable monthly payment. Last year I bought a PS4 from them for a great price and it is still alive and kicking. Thank you Lightning Pawn!

Not so great. Staff was mediocre at best. Unfriendly, unhelpful, and so greedy they let a sale walk out the door over $5. Must be nice that in a time like this they are unwilling to bend a little for a local resident. I reccomend you try somewhere else first. I should've expected the greedy and arrogant nature. After all this is an establishment that feeds off of the misfortunes of this community.
