After a car accident that totaled my jeep, I came into Sound Credit Union looking for a car loan. Without a payout from insurance yet I was unsure of how this process would go. Luckily it was made so easy thanks to Sara who took care of me. Now I'm off to go get my next vehicle. Thank you Sound Credit Union!

Refinanced my Auto loan at this branch. Brandy (The branch manager) was very helpful, super nice and very professional. She did a outstanding job of getting my SUV refinanced in a super short time frame. Great, Sound Credit Union branch, and very helpful banking staff.

I am writing this review for my significant other who is too furious to write a review. This is a very general overview of her experience. If you have trouble and the staff of this bank sends you running around town, their response is going to be "this is a learning experience for us" Processes needs clear and defined steps for clients. There is no excuse. You need to be audited for your processes. My gf is trying to deposit a $30,000.00 check into her account for her business. She is also in process of changing her name and business name back to her maiden name, which matches the check. She went in on Saturday for them to tell her she need further documentation. She went back today with more documentation from the state, verifying the name change. Again, the rep told her she needs another form. (This is speaking in general terms). Frustrated, she mentioned she could just go to one of her other banks to deposit the check. The management used this as leverage and told her she would have to do the same thing, rather than take ownership of their mistake and misinformation. Stressed beyond belief, she goes to her lawyer, who was able to get the paperwork she was told she needed. The issue was supposedly resolved until she receives another call from the bank, stating that she needs additional documentation. The banks response and excuse for not informing her properly was " this is a learning experience for us". Your learning experiences are causing your clients a tremendous amount of inconvenience and stress. You are also locking up and delaying the availablity of a very large sum of funds. Do not go to this bank. Unprofessional. Unorganized and untrained in their field.

April was demeaning and unprofessional. I don't know who hired this woman. It was like talking to a sitcom caricature of a rude DMV worker. Update: I want to give credit to the other people who work there, though. April was vindictive nightmare but I was there earlier today, before this incident, and the younger lady with long lighter hair was incredibly professional and conversational.

I went there saturday morning to open a business checking account and credit card., I was the first person there and the staff was really friendly and helpful. I had a list of 10 banks to visit that day and i ended up going nowhere after this place. The whole process was so easy and smooth, I think i will look into other services they have to offer in the future.

It's a little busy at times but it's a good place and they play music while you wait. They have a bathroom most banks don't.

My husband and I came in this past Saturday morning to open up a checking account. A woman by the name of Emily abruptly brought us around the window partition. Her body language was so terrible it was as if we were a total bother. It was so apparent, that I politely asked her if she needed to take some time - we were fine with waiting. She stated that she was very busy all morning. During the 5-10 minutes we were there, it never got any better. In fact, it was worse. I knew that it was not just me that felt this way, but my husband could not believe it either. We got up and left. Unfortunately, we were very much looking forward to opening an account with this credit union. All it took was one person with a horrible attitude and terrible customer service. I plan on calling the Manager, Sharil.

I use to like this place. I really did but last month, we took my daughters car to a mechanic. Needlessly to say he did some shady stuff. I got double charged but sound credit won't help me get my money back. Its akin to someone finding your card and using it. But they make you pay all the charged anyways.I thought credit unions were the way to go. I guess I'll go back to big banks.

April spent time retrieving a deposit ticket I had accidentally sent through at the drive through. She called me and was able to give me the information. She took the time to assist me, and it was greatly appreciated!

These people make it as difficult as possible to access my funds. I'm sick of theory lack of empathy and consideration of my needs and requests. I'll move banks as soon a I am able.
