An unbelievable professional company. The staff is first class and very knowledgeable about their investments. I have now switched most of my investments to Socotra due to the success and solid return on investments I have received since I became a client. A great company that you can count on for solid income growth and consistency in performance. The staff always keep you well informed and respond with customer service questions promptly. Socotra has two sides to their business; lending money out and investing money in. I have never borrowed money from Socotra but have invested in their fund for a while. Having tried to do hard money loans myself, I realized the risk and complexity of these deal. Socotra manages those processes and risks, making it a great way to get into hard money lending without the headaches. The team is extremely professional, manages expectations well and does a great job of communications. This is a stand up team, provide a great solutions on both sides. I highly recommend working with them.

This is not a 5-star review. This is a TEN-star review that I also want to keep private because I truly don't want other people to learn about Socotra! I've invested with them for 4 or so years now, both for an individual deal and in their fund. They are extraordinary in every category. To a person they are smart, personable, and scrupulously honest. They have tremendous business smarts. They run their business with compassion. And their returns speak for themselves! To go through a pandemic and (so far) not even have a notable hiccup is pretty extraordinary. Socotra is literally my favorite and most stable investment of all time. I'm happy to talk with anyone considering investing with them.

Socotra is a real estate investment company dealing mainly with commercial property and a select number of investors. Worked here temporarily as a mgmt consultant. Great team and work family environment. Senior leadership treats everyone like family. Good incentives for hardworking individuals. For self motivating starters there's room to move up with proven work accomplishments.
