Awful experience today with that idiot loan guy today 6/22/22 this morning. He was extremely rude. The office was supposed to open at 9am and me and a couple other people were waiting until almost 1030 am before someone got back. The staff did not not even apologize for being late. When I was applying for a car loan the loan guy was very rude with me. He Did the paperwork and said the interest rate was going to be 14 percent. That's a rip off. Very unfriendly people. I went to knoxville tva credit union in Kingsport tn and they were extremely nice. Waited on me when I walked in the door. The people were very professional and nice. The loan officer done a wonderful job getting me a very low interest rate and a good monthly payment. If u need a car loan go to knoxville tva credit union in Kingsport tn. Do NOT GO TO SELECT 7 IN KINGSPORT TN. I BELIEVE THE PLACE IS A SCAM.

Johnnie Watson and his team are nothing short of exceptional! They have always went above and beyond to help our family. Johnnie is very thorough in his work, and always works fast to get the job done. We appreciate all they do for us and recommend for all banking needs.

Courteous, efficient & friendly staff. They are patient in explaining questions about my account. If they don't know the answer, they make it a point to find the answer. Convenience, checks held for a week, late payments, are handled the same way at other financial institutions. My daughter and I have checking & savings accounts and loans. We will continue to trust Select Seven.

This is a ridiculous excuse for a credit union. Shouldn't even be able to call themselves that. More like a loan shark. Zero customer service and put holds on your account if you are 2 weeks late on your car payment 1 time in over 2 years. Can't answer the phone when you call to try to resolve the issue. Worthless.

The employees will bend over backwards to help you. Overall GREAT experience.

I was in the market for a new motorcycle and had spoke with a few banks about financing. My credit was a little slow due to recovering from a Divorce, and was told to try next year. Smith Brothers told me to go see Johnnie Watson at Select Seven , I walked in, Johnnie met me at the door and welcomed me in and we discussed what I was wanting to do. Johnnie went to work and with in minutes He explained the terms and said your approved and go pick out my new bike. Great bank great people. Johnnie Watson and Select Seven have won me over to a new way of Banking, it’s about service and customer appreciation. I look forward to more banking needs with them..

The staff is friendly enough, but I have never had a bank or credit union place a hold on a business check for a week because it was too much money. $500 should not be too much for any financial institution to handle. I could understand, maybe, if it was a personal check, but not a business check. They should have the technology to run the check immediately, make sure it's legit, then disburse your money when you cash it. I opened up a checking and savings account here to use for my daughter when she gets older, and I even considered moving my direct deposit from work to this credit union, but after the way they've handled my check, I will be closing my account as soon as the funds are finally deposited into my account.

Always friendly and helpful, but WHY is the ATM in Kingsport down so often? It doesn’t seem to be an issue with other credit unions, as I end up going through their drive up ATMs for cash. I would rate 5 stars if it weren’t for that.
