Such an awful experience. This is my first negative review but it is absolutely appropriate for the experience I had. Extremely disappointing from start to finish. I wish I would have never even bothered. Poor communication and mistakes were made by agent that left me with no loan and no information and some credit inquiries that shouldn’t have been ran if I was not going to apply for a mortgage, or have it in my name in any way. I was not given explanations and dealing with this company just made a difficult situation much worse for me. I was given assurance that this company would be helpful for my situation, but turns out, had the agent paid any attention to the customer or the relationships of the applicants, I would have never applied and he has no need to put inquiries on my credit because he mad a mistake. Please don’t waste your time. No one has reached out to me after one phone call, except when he called back to tell me he misunderstood and they didn’t have any loan programs for my situation. I should have been told this from the start. I was lied to and now I have credit inquiries and I will have to take a lot of my time escalating the issue since no one will contact me to fix it.. even tho it was their mistake. I’m sick over dealing with this company. Take your business somewhere that people actually listen and care. No one is perfect, but it would be nice if someone would have fixed the inquiries since I was lied to over the agent not knowing the customer well enough before pulling credit.

I worked with Derek Jackson and his team at USA mortgage! I am a single mom with a 2 year old. I have pretty low income, but Derek and his team did what they could to make it work for me! They led me through every step of the way, were EXTREMELY responsive to my emails and calls, and made sure I understood every step of the process. I thought it was going to be impossible for me, but they made it happen! So as of July 23, 2018, I am officially a home owner! When I got serious about my house hunt on 12/1/2020, I decided to try USA Mortgage based solely off of the reviews. I spoke with Derek Jackson who was very friendly and professional. He was also extremely patient and understanding; he took his time answering all of my questions. More importantly, he was honest. He told me what I needed to work on in order to move forward. I was pre-approved just a couple of days after that initial conversation. Derek was fantastic! He was quick to respond to my emails (even during the holidays) and he never made me feel as if I was a bother to him. Best decision I’ve made in my home buying process is, going with this team on getting a mortgage for my home! They were kind and so easy to work with. They were very transparent with everything and worked really hard to get me my loan. I talked to members of their team as late as 9 o’clock in the evening to make sure I made closing!
