Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Reviews

The staff lack sufficient knowledge or willingness to discuss anything beyond basic information. So, if you are an informed customer, there's nothing this branch's staff can help you with. Don't even try discussing anything slightly advanced, such as with what frequency your activity is reported to credit bureaus, or how long do they take to report past activity after you obtained an SSN. They don't know or are not interested in helping you besides offering basic information easily found online. I've had a disappointing experience every time I went over there. Perhaps the lukewarm reception is due to my being a PhD student receiving stipend. If that's the case, it is an extremely myopic way of conducting business, as the earnings potential in the near future is great. I will certainly look into BofA's competitors for a long-term, profitable relationship.

DO NOT go here if you are looking for a loan. I worked with Dezere Moore looking for a mortgage loan, and all the time this lady was giving me misleading information, always had to ask her manager for details, and sent files with the wrong information. It's clear that this person is not competent so avoid going to this location. I cannot believe they let a person like this, deal with important issues in a persons life.

This bank location has been nothing short of HORRIBLE. I haven't had a debit card for well over 5 years. When the bank sent me a new card I was informed I had to go to my local location to get my pin #. Once I got to that location because they close earlier at 4pm I was informed by a black male appearing to be supv./mang. stating they were closing soon and didn't have time and he stated "I'm not paying overtime." I informed him I was going out of town and it would be a while before my return. Now I'm back and I stop in again the same guy tells me today I should have made an allotment thereforeit'll be 45 mins or more.

the worst bank i have ever been to..they made me wait in line 3 times, after a check verification, then the teller who was on break for 15 minutes right before closing time, and the other teller had no idea what she was doing. the management was just skipping around doing nothing to help. My check from their own bank was rejected with zero explaination. HORRIBLE PLACE, NEVER wILL BANK AT ANY BOSA!!!!

Line to the door with 1 teller.. Every. Single. Time. Tell me why there’s always 2-4 other employees standing there doing nothing or talking with each other. A bank visit shouldn’t take nearly an hour of your time. Get your stuff together or close this branch
We appreciate you coming in, Toni. You may be able to save time by using an ATM or our mobile app. Signing up is simple: https://www.bankofamerica.com/online-banking/mobile-and-online-banking-features/overview/

Just went to the crest wood location, could not get any cash because they didn’t have any tellers, they told my 90 year old mom to use the ATM machine, she didn’t even know what that was. They would not even try to help her. We had to drive to another location 8 miles away.

My complaint is against Mike' finical advisor at the Lindell location in St. Louis, MO. I scheduled a time to speak with someone to add my daughter as an authorized user to my account appointment was made for 3-22-2021 Upon arrival, I was informed by Michael that they don't have anything to do with the credit card side and this could be done online. Have a good day. When I asked, why wasn't I ever notified to simply go online instead of you making an appointment he stated usually that would have been done... I said and... he says and what? I asked where to make a formal complaint, he then states I am the highest level you can complain to. We go back in forth and he threatens to close my account and call the police. I've banked with this bank for 36 years. This is the worst service. He never offered to get the problem resolved too busy waving who he was around and his threats. I will sue if this clown closes my account. He should be fired. Two weeks ago we called and spoke with him about making a large cash withdrawal from my wife's account, she was on speakerphone, and I could hear how rude he spoke with her. I intervened and asked, why was he talking to her like that, she can hear perfectly fine. He promised to order the cash and notify us, he never did. After day two of waiting, we went to the bank, he had it all screwed up, saying that they didn't have large bills and we would have to come back or we could wait for small ones. This was pre-arranged, this should have been handled prior to our arrival. We waited for 1 hr without incident. I will be closing my account now, but it will be on my terms. I didn't go to the branch close to my home because of the rude customer service at the Goodfellow branch, by an African, not a black man, the leader at that bank. BOA I'm sure you're losing customers and one day you will be sunk, like the Boatmen's bank sign. Times are changing don't think it can't happen.

I have the best experience when I come to this Bank of America location. My biggest kudos goes to the assistant manager, John Williams. He is always smiling and eager to help. He makes every client feel valued and makes sure to find the answer to any question we have. I know I speak for every client of the Central West End location when I say that John Williams is a true asset and personifies the values of your company. Someone needs to promote this man ASAP. I hope BoA understands the value of John, because if they don’t, I’m 100% certain that another company will.
Thanks for letting us know how helpful John was during your financial center visit. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what we’re doing well.

I visited this Bank of America branch for the first time today. New in town. Before going into the bank, I read the reviews of how bad this location was. I started not to go in. I said let me go see for myself. I must tell you, my experience was nothing like what has been described . I was greeted by over friendly people. I was also friendly. The branch was clean very nicely designed and the people were polite. The tellers were smiling, I smiled back. I conducted my business with no problem. I must admit it is a great location for my banking Needs. 😀

My 92yr old Dad was told regardless of his account balance he could only withdraw $500 today. The teller refused to give him $3000 he requested which would have left double plus that amount in his savings account. Disheartening for him to be treated this way‼️
