I had several accounts here and then moved out of San Diego. When I tried to close my accounts the teller wanted me to leave them open incase I came back at a later date. 7 years later an old account I had shared with a business partner that I tried to close was left open and apparently they kept using the account. I didn't access or have access to this account I also couldn't contact the owner of the account. I agreed to settle the account despite these facts however they refused to remove me from the account and posted as a charge off on my credit report. All of this after banking with the for 10 years in personal business accounts and auto loans alway payed on time and kept all accounts in good standing. They could and should do something about this.

They will overstep and disrespect boundaries. They judge individuals and think they are being advocates when they are actually inserting their self-righteousness where it doesn’t belong.

Never expect them to answer the phone. And if you try to get an agent via loans or something else, that person will not help you.

Personal service from a savings institution.

The folks at the branch are great and deserve 5 stars. But they recently changed their protocols "due to security" and now the branches can't help with even simple requests and everything gets routed to a call center. We gave up after TWO HOURS on hold and now today I made a simple request and have been waiting for ONE hour plus. In looking at the Google reviews associated with their corporate office they are terrible with a 2.2 average. Hopefully someone is paying attention because it starts and ends with customers!! allow branches to do more and cut the big bank red tape. I call Wells Fargo and they get to me in 5 to 10 minutes.

Not impressed. They are not a good place to open a business account. For personal banking they are much better.
