All the stars for Jorge who helped me finalize my auto loan after finding a great car! He sat patiently with me while I waited for my husband to respond to my text messages, and got everything approved via focusing so my husband didn’t have to leave work where he was much needed. He even found a charging cord for my phone so it wouldn’t die during the whole visit. Grateful that Jorge helped me with such a daunting task.

I would like to inform all bank personnel that I had been assigned to work for the San Diego coast credit union by my supervisor Viriana from allied universal event service and I did not have my guard card at the time as you can see my supervisor was well aware of the situation that I did not have my guard card when she sent me to the bank at the time between June 19th 2020 and August 2020. I did not get my guard card until November and Allied universal was fully aware of that and they sent me anyway and then said make sure that I get my guard card. As a stand up individual I acted as a guard and protected the assets of up to $250,000 fdic insured monies with honor. My supervisor has moved to allied Universal private security but I would recommend that this issue be taken seriously and contact proper persons after a breech of contact with someone you trusted with your assets to do the right thing. I highly recommend a manager or corporate office contact consumers affairs after such incidents because they have misrepresented your company and did not send a guard yet an ordinary honest person with a uniform on. I just got my guard card in late October/November. So I recommend that this should not be taken lightly as this is unlawful to send someone with no guard card to be at a bank. ALLIED UNIVERSAL WILLINGLY AND UNLAWFULLY MISGUIDED AND UNLAWFULLY SENT A REGULAR PERSON TO THE BANK. I have since gotten my guard card certification but I think that this financial institution should file fraud and breach of contract with the department of consumer affairs because they have been given misleading information and believed a guard was protecting their assets and I was not a guard at the time and had no legal obligation to be able to work at any bank without a guard card at the time.

Are you kidding me? I have a current $30000 loan with this bank for a brand new car and they won’t take my money from me on the phone or online?? My wife was just told by their corporate office that she would have to walk into their bank branch with CASH!! Not an ATM, not a credit card....CASH! What am I? A crack dealer? I thought banks wanted to finance you. That’s how they make money!! Not this one. I have to bring my piggy bank in and hit it with a hammer in front of them to pay for my $30000 car!! WOW!! I’ll be going elsewhere!

I am horrified by the terrible and inhuman disgrace these people have shown our family. We had a family member fall into a coma and eventually die. During this time, we had no end of problems with the bank refusing to accept payments on a car loan. They would make harassing calls for payment, then refuse to accept credit, debit, and bank transfers in our attempt to make the requested payments. They have been rude, harassing, and they are completely unsympathetic to our loss. The main sticking point at the moment is our mother's maiden name doesn't match their records, and they have refused to accept an original birth certificate as proof their records are incorrect.

I love sdccu. But the customer service at this location is awful. This younger lady with blonde hair (I wish I got her name) was incredibly rude. I just asked a simple question and she gave me so much attitude.

I can't believe the negative reviews I'm reading here! I've been a member of SDCCU since back when the County of San Diego's payroll first started direct deposit and this was the only method. Almost 35 years! They are a Credit Union. They are not an online financial service. They respect their member's security and in light of all the network vulnerabilities, being asked to go to the bank in person is a good thing!. I'll be visiting this branch the first time today.. didn't know you opened up. So close to work. Thanks for all you do!

Safety measures placed: social distancing, hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes, clear space shields, and staff wipes down key pad, pend, and counter after every customer. of all SDCCUs I've found this one to be my favorite. staff is always well presented, friendly, professional, and pleasant to speak with. definitely recommend this location.

Do NOT trust these people. They approved a car loan to me IN WRITING for 22.5K, Told me go shop and buy a car. When I did, signed all the paperwork, and when it was TOO LATE TO BACK OUT, They had second thoughts and offered me a 5K loan instead. Fortunately the finance officer at the car dealership got me the loan SDCCU offered at the same interest rate. YOU MAY NOT BE SO FORTUNATE. RUN LIKE THE WIND.

This branch has been really great at helping me process my small business accounts and get used to the online banking function of SDCCU. Brianna R. At this site has been especially helpful multiple times.

Obviously pisspoor slander in the year old reviews. Very nice staff, always get my funds, and way more trustworthy than any bank I've been to. Need proof, see for yourself!
