Very happy to have stopped by here on my way home. I was met with pleasant staff and found good deals. I'll be coming here for any ammo, new purchases of tools, and my gunsmithing needs. My new favorite local 2A shop. If they get things in for reloading it would be 6/5 stars. 👍

It is not often that I write reviews for business’s however I had to say something about my experience with Sarasota Gun Company. I purchased a firearm from them at the Miami gun show. That firearm had a red dot sight on it. When I returned home and was going through things I found out the sight would not turn on, checked the battery and all that. I reached out to them reguarding the issue and they immediately sent me a return label and stated that they would make it right. The reason I am writing this review is because every other time I have purchased a red dot the seller was sure to let me know that there are no exchanges or warranties with them, only with the manufacture. The Sarasota Gun Company was eager to make sure I was a pleased customer and happy to take care of the issue for me keep up the good work.

They have a very well rounded shop with a little bit of everything for everybody. You should check them out. PS they great on trades. Ended up finding this gem.

Great prices, friendly service when I had to reach out to them, and a great selection and variety. Would definitely recommend a friend or family member. Will most definitely be doing business with them again!!

I visited the shop to sell a shotgun I no longer shoot. The shop worked out the details with me in advance by email in a very courteous and professional manner. Stephanie quoted a fair price and the transaction was completed. Overall a great experience.

Went in to pick up a case of 9mm they had a special on. Ended up leaving with two cases of 9mm and 7 boxes of critical defense to go with a new Glock. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, prices are fair and reasonable. We will definitely be doing more business with them in the future.

My favorite shop in Florida, great selection of guns and ammo. The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

First impressions walking in weren’t promising but with money in our pocket ready to buy something, we gave it a shot. I’ve never seen a pawn shop more cluttered, hardly any space to walk around. With interior flaws aside, the customer service was just about non-existent. We tried to ask questions about a product that we were ready to purchase and received no eye contact, rude responses because the guy behind the desk was more worried about talking to his friends than making an actual sale. We gladly left and took our purchase elsewhere, where they were happy to help us. I wouldn’t spend money here even if I was begged to. Hopefully in time they will learn better customer service skills until then, I stand by my review.

Captain Bill’s is a awesome pawn shop, with excellent selection and great prices. I have traveled here all the way from Tampa twice, because I appreciate their professional, personable, respectful service! Thank you for making my transactions such a pleasure.
