Santander Bank Branch Newkirk Plz, Brooklyn

I was able to make an appointment and open an account same day. I interacted with multiple people and everyone was extremely friendly and professional. Overall it was a very positive experience and I look forward to doing my banking there.

Very a rude staff . . 3 Time Appointmnent but who have take of us is Busy with other clint . . Then why they give me appointment at same time . .

Very Very Very slow should keep at lease 2 hour in hand to open a new account or if want to speak to an agent. They have sign all over the place respect dude how they want people to respect if you make them angry in the first place by waiting 2 hrs they are not respecting people time. They are worse then emergency room. I literally heard one accountant talking what she eat and where she get food man it's messed up. I thing dmv is even faster

unfortunately I bank here, this is the worst. now they put sign everywhere here that says "respect starts here" reality is they don't know how to respect. I strongly believe they need true training and of course need to use common sense. they say "thank you", looking at somewhere else not at you. the teller told me to sign the receipts making gesture not event uttering a word. they treat like they are giving me a big favor. I really hate to go there.

I see why it has so many 1 star ratings. Called to make an appointment to open up a simple checking account. No availability and the person who answered the phone didn’t seem ecstatic either to even answer the call or ask any probing questions. He was more concerned with notifying me that they closed today in 1 hour. Closing time is 1pm and I called at 11:40am. I also wanted to discuss a credit card and possible HELOC on my home. Will def take my banking needs where their interested in my business and this Santander branch on Newkirk Ave isn’t it.

Such a unprofessional and rude guy I went to open an account the guy was so rude if u don’t like to work go sit home.

I had the privilege of opening my bank account with Jonathan who took the time out to get to know me and my banking needs. Felt quite at home. It wasn't all bank business and I was made to feel very welcomed. Came back to withdraw some money and was treated like family. Great team that makes you feel right at home.

In my 16th years of living in this area. I found out that this bank is the worst bank ever. Someone took money from my account, but they couldn’t help me to get my money. I had to wait for 2 hours to see a bank Clark. Every single time I want see a Clark and it’s take 3 or 4 hours to solve the problem. Or to find out what going on. Don’t visit this place I mean this bank ever. They need Will training to expanded the customer service at this branch. I loss over $1600 because of this bank security system. I hope no one should loss my like I did. No help ever ..
