I drove down from Dublin because the San Leandro Hyundai were willing to give me the best for my money. Not only did they help me save a little, but they helped me in any possible way that they could, this included things that I didn’t know I needed help with. They accommodated me and my mom to the max! I felt as if I were family to them even though this was our first time ever meeting. We are so happy with our purchase that we’re coming back to make another deal with them for my two brothers. Highly recommend them to anyone and everyone, especially first time car buyers!

Still waiting 1.5 years later to get the second key to my new car, which should have come with the car. Why haven’t you gone back in and gotten it, you say? Well, I made an appointment, and had scheduled the service in advance, but when I got there last year, they didn’t have me on the service list that day, even though they sent me a text to confirm! Well, I just called them today, and now they can’t find the key!!! Good cars, decent pricing, but worst service ever.

Service department is terrible. Never answers calls. Never returns calls. I took time off work to have San Leandro Hyundai take pictures of a paint peeling issue to submit to Hyundai. I find out a month later that they never submitted the pictures and they want me to take time off work to go back and have them re-take pictures even though I still have the e-mails with the picture attachments (that they are also copied on). What a waste of time just because people didn't do their job. I talked to Stevens Creek Hyundai instead and they were much more helpful...I mean at least they answered the call and were willing to help.

Don’t even bother trying - go to Dublin Hyundai for service. I spent over a week trying to arrange warrant service for my Ionic. They never answered calls. I left messages, I used the online message arrive from their website. I sent txts. Nothing. No response. Dublin Hyundai let’s you nook service (including warranty) online. When you get they are courteous, helpful, efficient. Totally worth the extra drive.

The servicing team could not hear a clucking sound and the car was returned without fixing the issue. Also, it is surprising that after service the interior vacuum/cleanup was not done as a complimentary service. Most dealerships will service and provide complimentary car wash. Hyundai San Leandro, maybe you want to up your game.

I purchased my car from this place 2 years ago. I paid an extra $2000 for the Zurich maintenance. Every time I went to get the maintenance, the staff told me that I did not have the plan and that I needed to pay for the service in full. 2 years later, I managed to cancel the Zurich Maintenance plan for a partial refund (that will be applied to my payment plan). Do not buy the service maintenance warranty as it will cause more headaches than it should save you.

I recommend coming to this dealership for your car needs. Nassar and his team made sure my family and I walked out happy with our purchase. Even after walking out, they ended up calling me the next day to let me know that I was qualified for an even better deal! They definitely take care of their customers. If I could do 0 stars I would. I have been to many diff Hyundai service shops as unfortunately they keep closing in the Bay Area but i always have the best experience. Santa Clara has been my go to and they’re great however today I decided to visit San Leandro as it’s actually closer ! I was so excited. but then it all crashed and burned. I waited 4 hours with an appointment and was told the tech had no even started on my car as they were backed up? Sorry what? I had an appointment and was told at check in it would be max 3 hours. How is it 4 hours in that my car hasn’t been touched ? I went in for a light that was on . That’s it! And received a call 1 hour after appointment verifying the work they’d be doing diagnosing the light. I got the run around with the front desk Yusuf. No straight answers. Ultimately he advised I take my car home as it’s been 4 hours. My day has been wasted and he cannot give me a clear estimated time of when the work will be completed ???? I’m at a loss for words at the service. To top it off they hand me my car with the wrong keys. Turns out my car had been assigned two keys? That seems safe right? SCARY! I seriously usually have the best experience. You have been warned. Go to ANY other Hyundai service dealership and save yourself the headache and half a day wasted. So disappointed.

My experience with them was awesome. Alex helped me through my online purchase and when we arrived at the dealership it was all ready! We just test drive it and we’re done! I purchased three vehicles total from Angie and Adrian at San Leandro Hyundai! Their customer service is impeccable. Nasser the store manager was so helpful during our transactions and answered all our questions. We drove from Los Banos to San Leandro because of their honesty and simple price explanation. Gone are the days of being at the dealership for hours.. we did most our our transaction online and once there we just had to sign! It was a great experience and we love our cars! I got redirected here from the Hyundai USA concierge and wow! What a service, I tried a few other dealerships before and nobody made it easy for me until I came here. Within 5 minutes I had a printed quote in my hands and nobody was pushing me. The car sells itself but the sales staff is friendly and they completely stay out of your way to make your decisions. SO REFRESHING! Brayan helped me get my car, I was in and out in 3 hs and happy as can be with my new Hyundai :)

I had a lease that I returned to this dealership. The salesperson, Mark, was initially helpful but things got weird: first he said he'd take the vehicle despite being unable to access their system to return the car. He gave me a note and sent an email saying he had possession of the car. A little weird, but okay. Then a few days later he calls me and explains Hyundai told him insurance owns the car and then asks when can I come pick it up. I am completely confused, but his comment to me was it's not his problem and he'll have the car towed. I called Hyundai and spoke to Blanche. Blanche told me there are no issues with the car whatsoever and she said "that dealership knows they have to call the dealer line and work this out with us. This isn't your issue, we have the car." Mark was rude, unprofessional, and now I look back at the initial handling of the return as shady. None of this makes sense. I will never do business with San Leandro Hyundai again. EDIT: I just received a call from someone claiming to be the General Manager for San Leandro Hyundai. He threatened to have the car towed off the lot and dump it in front of my place. THat was pretty aggressive but what made it really funny is a few minutes later he stated I have no way of proving they took possession of the car. I guess that was a threat of some kind? Dunno what he was trying with that bit of business. PS: I called Hyundai again to get clarification - again. I was told - again - the car is owned by Hyundai, and both Mark the sales guy and the General Manager were not only wrong but it is not protocol to threaten customers with having a car towed to their home and dumped there. So, no, I shall definitely not be doing any business with San Leandro Hyundai. EDIT: In response to the owner: I did not provide your team the vin number. HOw can I provide the "wrong" vin number when you have the car and the correct vin number is on it? Are you saying your team at San Leandro Hyundai doesn't know where the vin number is on a car? Do you guys like selling cars? YOu don't seem to know anything about them. Why don't you stop blaming your customer for your team's incompetence, and apologize for all of their threats they made instead of coming back here to defend your petty customer service? Next time you post something publicly, ask yourself if it helps your dealership or hurts it.
Barry, As you are aware you provided us with the wrong Vin # to your car that you were attempting to return. Therefore, when returning your vehicle we were working with wrong info. This incorrect information that was provided to us was the reason why we were having a difficult time returning your vehicle. Now that this was identified, we were able to return your vehicle an email you a receipt so you can have for your records. If you have any questions please feel free to reach us.

Greedy and unprofessional sales team. Tells me i will have to wait till 2025 to not pay markup on a Ioniq 5 apparently. No thanks! Already welcomed my Tesla Model 3. Hyundai did a fantastic job with the car but their dealerships are a different story altogether. Would recommend driving to Palm springs or Frank hyundai to buy at msrp. Don’t encourage these dealers charging 5-10k markups

Be ware: they might try to charge you for services that you do not need I called to ask when can I come in to buy out my leased car with cash and no financing. They said that I first need to schedule my car evaluation that I need to PAY for, and after that schedule a second appointment to actually buy it out. Other dealerships do not ask or charge for car evaluation if you buy out the car. Also, thank god, I learned that it is even better do it though the portal and Hyundai finance team than deal with the dealership people.

I picked up my Santa Fe Calligraphy edition in end Dec 2021 from San Leandro Hyundai. I went to multiple dealerships of different auto makers during the decision making and buying process. Here's what stood out for me during the entire process: 1. Amazing team focused on meeting my needs: Angie worked out the car and offer that worked best for my specific situation and Adrian helped close the deal on terms that worked for me 2. Outstanding customer focus: everyone I engaged with was courteous and interacted with a pleasant demeanor. I needed a car quickly due to my previous car getting hit and declared a "total loss". Inventories are very tight right now but San Leandro Hyundai recommended I look at the Elantra N Line since they had 3 on the lot. I read about the car for a few days and ended up buying it for a reasonable price (considering the market right now). The salesperson was experienced and respected my time. I called in advance and when I arrived I took a test drive and then bought the car. It went relatively smoothly and the car is terrific. The Elantra N Line as every safety feature and is wonderful to drive. It is my third Hyundai.
