    Got this great low miles 2019 MX-5 at a great price. Adam put together a terrific deal with a great number for my trade-in and we just beat today’s interest rate hike! I’ll have this one for a while but when the next car goes, we’ll head back to Russ Darrow.

    We have always had great costumer service at this Mazda dealership. Anytime we came for a service, they made sure to take AMAZING care of us. That is why we gave it 3 stars. However, the last couple experiences have left a bad taste in our mouth.We went to buy out our car from our lease. We took off of work, got a babysitter for our baby, and was there for over three hours. Only to get a call later that day that they made a mistake on our paperwork on the finance side and that our contract was invalid. It was very frustrating to hear that those 3 hours were wasted. We were promised when we went back that all of our paperwork would be correct and we would be out in no time. Except the paper work was wrong again. They had the wrong county, wrong dollar amount (again), and we had to keep repeating how to spell our street name. They gave us a couple oil changes but didn’t seem to care about their errors or for wasting our time.

    Overall a good experience, Alex was very helpful and made my experience much better than I had with other dealerships. My only real issue was that they didn't negotiate much at all, and on one hand I understand but it was a bit frustrating. Overall though their prices are fair so I can't be too upset. If I needed another vehicle I would be happy to work with them again.

    I needed to bring my older car in for a recall and I chose them based on proximity. Little did I know that I would receive such great service and pay nothing. They sent me a short video of the work they did, how cool is that?!? I will def bring my car back here if I ever need service again!

    Overall the experience was positive. The state of the economy has changed the used car market and related buying experience significantly. Russ Darrow does not allow buyers to secure their own financing to pay for a car. Either it must be straight cash (green money - no checks) or financing through the Russ Darrow business office. In my communication with the dealer prior to arrival I made it known I had pre approval for my own financing and nothing was said that I could not use my bank. However, once the deal was made we were told that if the car was to be financed we had to apply and run it through Russ Darrow. I was not pleased with this, but at this juncture in the deal process we had little choice. Russ Darrow honored online pricing, but I recommend anyone confirm the online price ahead of time and make sure there are no applicable disclaimers such ad the online price requires a trade in. We love the used Buick Enclave we purchased and thank you Russ Darrow.

    I have to admit, looking for a new vehicle is very stressful to me. I just purchased a new CX-5 from here recently.     Just bought a car with my daughter. Price of car and sales person was fine. However please watch out for their service contracts. Throwing on a service contract that added on $40 a month to the payment without going over the cost in the car breakdown is dishonest. When trying to finance a car for the first time for her I'm mad that I missed it. I should have known better. Cost of this will be a refinance down the road for an already poor college student. Finance guy told us how to cancel AFTER we signed all of the paperwork.

    We called earlier in the day to ask if a particular car was available, and they said it was so we went there in the evening and worked with Adam. He was very friendly and professional, we test drove the car, and offered them the price they were asking for on the internet. The sales manager, Erick Perez, told him that we had to finance it to get the internet price, so we agreed to that. Adam completed all the paperwork, and we thought it was a done deal. After sitting there for about an hour and a half, Erick came over to the desk and told us that he decided to sell the car to an employee who expressed interested AFTER we did. He was incredibly rude and would not explain why he decided to give it to the employee after they initially agreed to sell us the car, took all of our information and completed the paperwork. Erick was extremely unprofessional. I have never seen such horrible customer service and cannot believe that he is the sales manager. There are plenty of car dealerships out there, so I would advise anyone to stay away from this one. Adam - if you go to another dealership let us know. You were great!

    When a dealership's sales agent makes you feel unwelcomed and a burden, it is not a good sign. This is exactly how my whole family felt. Not only they had the highest markup on the MSRP, they were cold, dismissive and rude. Recently, I have had encounters with many Mazda dealerships, however this one is by far the worst. Will never ever go this place and with so many other choices would recommend others to do so.

    Called and made an appointment to see a used car that was listed for a certain price online. After test driving the car and coming in to discuss the details, they added $2k to the price listed online for an “accessory” (as they called it) that wasn’t optional. I did not want to pay for this extra 2k that I was unaware of and decided to leave. They ran over to my car to offer 1k off, which would still be 1k over the listed price. The gentlemen I dealt with was generally arrogant and tried classic dealership salesman jargon when asked why they’re adding 2k to the price. Beware of the listed prices of their cars so you don’t waste your time!!!

    I purchased a great pre-owned vehicle at a fair market price. The car had just come in a bit earlier so they didn’t have time to detail. The car was very dirty on the inside. They vacuumed the car and washed the exterior but there was still dirt, dust, and dog hair inside the car. I thought the salesman should have arranged for a proper detailing at a later date. I would have happily brought the car back.

    My care for broken into overnight and I was able to get the glass repaired within 24 hours plus another random part that was broken off my car. Everyone In the office was pleasant. They’ve completely redone their building and it’s beautiful and clean. They have charging stations for your phones if you are going to wait for repairs. As well as actual furniture so that you’re comfortable.

    Brought my Mazda in for a recall and to change a belt, what should have taken 2 hours took 8. I was waiting for 5 hours in the service lounge, when I came and asked them what was taking so long, they said my car was not driveable. I had purchased parts for my rear brakes that I wanted to install later on my own, but the tech tried installing them and ended up damaging my rear wheel bearings in the process. I also found out later that the tech installed my rear pads backwards and they were grinding on the rotors metal on metal. I would not reccomend coming here for service. The techs don't seem to know what they are doing and the communication could be better.

    Horrible experience. We bought a 2017 jeep renegade latitude on Nov 6th. The process was ok, however we were deceived all the way around. The warranty package we thought was included was actually tacked on at nearly $3000. Hassle to get it removed, then signed up for every 2 week payments to "save interest and pay off loan faster", but soon found out that is a 3rd party service that charges close to $400. Who needs that? You can make biweekly payments to your lender yourself without paying a middle man! Here is the best part.....the next day headlight malfunction light comes on. Guess what....no low beam headlights, just high beam. The general manager claimed this is disclosed in the paperwork so it's our problem now. They don't care if you ever come back there. They just scam one person at a time. We have purchased cars elsewhere and never had an experience like this. If anything was wrong they took care of it before we left with the vehicle. Scam artists is what these people are. Buyer beware. Don't assume they aren't ripping you off. Our mistake. Right Russ Darrow? Our mistake?

    Wish I could give 0 stars. The saleswoman lied to me about a vehicle being certified. Had my friend call to ask about the vehicle and they told them it wasn’t certified. Went in to see what the best price was, and after I said that I needed another $500 off (which was still $500 higher than a different dealership with less miles and a certification) then they told me they didn’t have the title to the car and couldn’t sell it. (What?). Then when I asked the next day for their best price, they refused to even respond to me. The sales manager never came out to say hello and introduce himself. If you want to be disrespected by grown adults, this is the place for you. If you want to skip some of the typical car salesman’s games… I recommend finding a different dealer. Needless to say, I bought elsewhere. EDIT: I tried contacting the dealership 2 times by email and phone to discuss what happened and I was hung up on and ignored in regards to emails.

    I brought my car in because the tire pressure light was on & I opted for service that included tire rotation & oil change $110..I told them about the light being on.. I also requested a car wash. I was the only customer there & was told 2 people were working on my car.. When I got my car back, the light was still on but I thought it would turn off after driving several miles..it did not. I talked to Matt, the manager, & now I have to bring my car back..he very grudgingly offered me a free tire rotation & an oil change for my trouble.. I'm immune compromised & this is a huge inconvenience, not to mention it doesn't instill any faith in me as far as repairs..they drove my car out to the lot & they couldn't see that the light was still on?? Oh, the car wash? the back half of my car never saw water..

    Went to look at a vehicle with my husband and found one that we were very interested in. I expect there to be some price gouging with dealerships, but if you’re going to overcharge for cars, at least be willing to repair bad brakes on a vehicle. We are willing to overlook the higher price if they had been willing to repair them, but were told that the “higher ups” were unwilling to repair a safety issue. Says a lot about the integrity of a business. The body also had obvious signs of damage, including a lifting of the rear bumper panel. Who knows what sort of damage this car has endured — and we can’t even leave the lot with simple brake repairs? We’ll not be purchasing through this dealer, and likely not any Russ Darrow locations.

    I came in today to get my brakes fixed and new tires and the experience went far better than I expected. The initial worker at the service desk was really kind and helped direct me to what issues needed to be addressed and walked me through the details. They got it done in the time that they estimated and they were able to save me a couple hundred dollars from what the cost would’ve been. Everyone there was professional, kind, and genuinely helpful. I’m still in shock that I was able to save so much money. I never really write reviews for this kind of stuff but I believe everyone that had helped me today deserves recognition. Especially the mechanics that saved me time, money, and stress over my car. I will be back when need be and will definitely be recommending this place. Thank you for the amazing service today!

    This is my 3rd Mazda from Russ Darrow of greenfield they always treat me right. not only when your buying but when you come in for service. It’s been a few years since I purchased from them I noticed the total remodeling of the place it was very inviting. My salesman Ethan was a big help he listened to what I was there for and my objective loan wise and delivered on all points. Never felt pressured it was a good experience. I would recommend Russ Darrow of greenfield to my family and friends.

    I took my car to an alignment shop initially, they showed me subframe was rusted and severely compromised. Had towed to Russ Darrow Mazda, was rude to service person at first, but in my defense car was in for recall 2 years ago and Mazda chose to put a band aid on a severed artery and not replace it then. I realize not the dealers fault but they are stuck in middle, anyways, they turned it around in less than a week as I told them that's all I could go without getting a rental. Can't say I will ever buy another Mazda, but service department did a great job

    Very fast service, and I absolutely love the video review of the service they texted me after it was all done. They showed me under the hood and under the car all the details of the inspection, using the tire tread tool to show me the depth of tread left, etc. Just wish my dentist did the same thing to give me peace of mind about the services they say I need!

    I love car shopping and while I’ve worked with a wide variety of sales staff over the years, my experience at this dealership was a stunningly poor experience that reinforced every conceivable negative stereotype about car shopping and car sales staff. Everyone is well aware that there is currently a computer chip shortage resulting in fewer new cars on lots however, I was literally treated as though they were not interested in selling the cars they had available. That same day, prior to going to Russ Darrow, I visited Hall Mazda in Waukesha where I was treated with respect by sales staff who responded thoughtfully to my questions and seemed sincerely enthusiastic about their product. To the staff at Russ Darrow … the current shortage in the availability of new cars will soon transition to a situation where you have more cars than you’ll know what to do with. That same day I purchased a car elsewhere primarily because of how I was treated. You not only lost a sale last Friday but you can be certain that I will never return to your store and when asked by friends and family about my new car, the story will be sure to include the abysmal treatment I received at Russ Darrow.

    I will say my experience with Russ Darrow was less than pleasant.we found a vehicle online and spoke to a salesperson to try to cover all bases prior to traveling close to 2 hours. I really thought we had a price locked and only thing was us to visibly see vehicle and test drive, sign papers and then drive home with said vehicle...salesperson said maybe 60 minutes. 60 minutes turned into 5+ hours. First the price and discounts were based on qualifying for ALL the incentive programs...never was that stated in our talks...in fact the salesperson said we were to receive the new vehicle discount of $1500 on top of the existing discounts!?!? Unfortunately the salesperson we worked with over the phone was not there during our appointment. I asked the dealership to review the recording of our call to verify what she told us but they did or would not. We finally did get them to at least honor the price listed online after several trips back to the manager...whom I would have expected to come over himself to talk to us and get this resolved, but he continued to stay behind the the glass windows in the other room. Once we got a price WE finally accepted, but was higher than originally agreed to, we had pointed out some issues with the vehicle being dirty and some strange streaking on all 4 doors that needed to be addressed. While we were negotiating the price they brought the vehicle to the shop to clean and I thought to “detail” the vehicle. Once they brought the vehicle out to show us the features and things...I looked over the car and noticed NOTHING different was done to improve the outside cleanliness nor the streaks. I think they just filled up the gas in the vehicle and hoped we would not notice. When the salesperson asked if we could do the financing while they brought the vehicle back to work on it, I said “NO, not until it looks like a new vehicle should”...and glad I did because it took another hour and the streaks did not come out when they brought the vehicle out again! Again I think they were hoping we would accept it. They brought it back in a third time to clay bar the doors and this time it almost looked normal, but not quite. They decided to give us $500 more off if we would accept it the way it was...we agreed, and we were able to finally get to financing...which was the easiest part of the process. I can say that I will NEVER buy a car from Russ Darrow again...the tactics used were terrible...even stating at one time if we did not buy the vehicle today that his managers neighbor was planning to purchase later in the day...I just said to that person...”really - you’re going to try that tactic on me?” There were more instances throughout the process that were less than stellar, but I think people get the drift of our story. I think if Mazda knew this story they would be embarrassed of the dealership.

    I purchased a car back in October. Thankfully the sales person was great and I love the car. I have had several issues with the paperwork process. The dealership was to handle the taxes and registration of the car. After dozens of phone calls and emails throughout 5 months I did finally receive my license places (a few weeks after stopping by in person), as well as a $300+ late fee from the state. Paperwork was due in November but was not done until March despite my follow ups. My contact at the dealership said corporate would cover the late fee. I have since followed up 5 times asking for confirmation of payment with no response other than my contact “believes it was paid”. This has been beyond frustrating to receive fines for a situation out of my control, with no insight or communication. I had also received a ticket from expired temporary plates and another fine due to not being able to get my parking sticker in sufficient time (due to the registration being done so late). If someone at the dealership reads this, please help me just get confirmation fines were paid with my state.

    Very shady and disrespectful sales techniques that they use. They wasted 2 hours of my time today not telling me about their hidden fees that they charge for new vehicles. They call It a discount of $3000 but that's added to the overall price. And offered me $100 for my trade in! The car it's not great but come on $100 for a running vehicle!? Anyway they didn't get my business, guess what Russ Darrow? There are other dealers that sale same cars and are not shady like you.

    Sale specialist Itan was there in the moment when we arrived. He walked us through car selection, described everything pretty well. He was familiar with car record and we got good deal for our sons car. Only took them a little bit longer to wash car and to finish paperwork but was really busy at the moment. Car drivers good so far, no issues and it's in decent shape for used one. Definitely if you are looking for car stop by them and check I bet you will found something what fits for your budget.

    **EDIT*** Called to get clarification on the difference with online price. Online price is based off if you have a trade-in then you will get the online price. Otherwise price is different at dealership. Alex explained clearly on how their pricing works. Giving a 1 star because I was helped quickly and my salesperson, Alex, kept it professional and comfortable. Otherwise the shopping experience was rather upsetting. Came in to test drive a 2017 Mazda3 sport that had only 23k miles on it, but after seeing a small crack on the bumper I was offered to test drive the same model but in a different color. The other Mazda3 sport had 37k miles on there. Keep in mind the initial Mazda3 I was looking at was priced at a live market value of $15,722, which in my opinion was a fair price. Alex mentioned that the Mazda3 Grand Touring trim had a couple more safety and interior features and was price around 17-18k, making sure to mention it was only 2-3k more than the Sports model. I stuck with the sports model and took it for a test drive and ended up liking the car. As we sat down to make the deal, the pricing of the car was $3000 more than what was shown on the website. The initial Mazda3 I looked at was priced at $15,722. The one I test drove had around 10k more miles so I would assume its price be lower, but instead it was priced at $18k, the same amount that was mentioned for the Grand Touring trim. I was confused so I mentioned the online pricing and was told those were the pricings if I had a car trade-in. I'm not sure how that would make sense as there is nothin on the website that mentions the price only reflects if I had a trade in. Alex told me it was probably somewhere in the fine print, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought I must have missed it. Only to check on the website again to find nothing stating I needed a trade-in. I am confused on how they would put a price value on a car if we had a trade-in without even knowing our car's trade-in value. Overall ended up not purchasing the car. Alex was going back in forth to talk to his manager to see if they can make a deal. I felt as though they didn't care whether they had my business or not.     I will say my experience with Russ Darrow was less than pleasant. I called this place to make a purchase of a BMW 750. I Told them that I was paying in cash. I also told them I was driving in from a different state. I spoke with Erick and Ethan. Ethan called me back asking for my SSN and told me He was going to give ma a call back. I never received a call. A week later NOT ONE TIME has anyone from this place called. I've called at least 7xs and not one call have been returned. I understand being busy. I don't think that I should keep calling to give you my hard money for a car I can get from another place. I was very disgusted with this place and the goal the nerve of the salesperson. I would NOT recommend this business. I offered straight cash and I didn't get a call back. How will they handle you?

    When I arrived at the dealership I was a bit nervous as this was going to be my first car purchase (and my first big adult purchase in general). My nerves quickly went away after chatting with a few employees inside. Gustavo helped me through the whole process and was very helpful when it came to financing/interest rates and answering any questions I had. They worked with me to get to a payment amount/length I was comfortable with and explained everything along the way. Although different packages and options were suggested to me, Gustavo and other members of the sales team were never pushy and never forced me to take them as has been suggested in other reviews. Overall, I'm very happy with the service I received and my beautiful new Mazda6 !

    Stopped at Russ Darrow Mazda of Greenfield today (10/6) for my first oil / filter change, inspection & wash for my new Mazda3 HBP. I was a little early - no problem. The representative at the service desk was friendly and helpful - he let me know that my service plan coupons would never expire and that the service technician would take care of three computer related recalls during this visit - all at no charge. With the recalls, the appointment took a little longer than expected but, I really didn't mind at all. Since buying the car here last October (great experience, by the way), the entire interior of the dealership has been remodeled and updated with high-end finishes, surfaces, furnishings and amenities. It was really a nice space in which to eat lunch and hangout on their internet while I waited. The Service Representative came out to let me know my car was done. My only constructive feedback would be that the car should have been dried or dried better after the wash. I am a little obsessive about my car's appearance (like many Mazda owners...) and, by the time I got home, I had to spend a little time with my microfiber cloth to take care of the water spots and streaks. But, other than that - I was impressed - great dealership & service department - earning my business and my recommendation - well done!

    For anyone reading this: If you ever feel uneasy at all about the process at any point, leave. You have no obligation to them until you sign the final contract stating what you owe. Even if they run your credit before hand. Take the hit and walk away. Finally, always bring a friend or partner, preferably one who is well versed in this line of work or in finance in general. They'll help you keep a level head. I bought a car from here and I can say that it was far from a good or even normal experience. I know that when you go to buy a car the dealer is always going to try and add some packages or up charge here or try to finance there. I think one thing I was unprepared for was the level of the hostility I got from the sales manager when he was directly confronted with his own dealership's website information. 2 discounts listed on the site plus a loyalty discount since I own and planned on keeping my other Mazda. When I let my sales rep know this he brought the manager out to talk to us about the price. The manager was immediately hostile and confrontational... about what was on his own site. He claimed that the loyalty discount was already included, it wasn't. He claimed that the only discounts he could offer were already on the table, they weren't. He claimed that if we went with the loyalty discount it would lock us into the "standard rate" for financing, when pressed on the rate he said it was just standard and that the amount could change when we talked to financing, it didn't. I had to show this manager the listing on his own site before he came back with the appropriate pricing. The way this manager spoke down to me was humiliating. As if we were some how forcing him to do something unconscionable to just show us the price of the car with all discounts, that they advertise. We also had to force our rep to get rid of a ridiculous $2000 up charge on a "protective coating". These guys had pictures of cars sitting in all sorts of winter weather but said that I would need this coating because of rail yards and ocean spray? What? I goofed here multiple times by not walking away. I should have walked away when they balked about the price. I should have walked away when the manager refused to tell me the rate of the loan, and I should have walked away due to his unbelievable rudeness. I'm willing to admit my own fault for not getting up and leaving. I wanted the car and despite these issues, I did get it at a pretty low price. Part of that is sticking to my guns, insisting on the discounts they were supposed to offer. Honestly it's the only reason why I stuck it out. But if you wanted to be treated like a human being, avoid this dealer.

    Paid well over what was advertised. Advertised color was not in stock. Due to my own failure I got more than $5k extra “services” added to the total cost. Review your paper work over night. I would recommend finance through your bank and not then, even if your bank is the same that they go through. Could have had 2% diff in my rat. I do like the car and how it drives.

    Had an overall terrible experience. Found a car online advertised that was reasonable. Went in, test drove the car and we discussed the advertised price. I had a picture of it. We left the dealership undecided and went to talk it over at dinner. Decided to buy the car so I called the salesman and said we would take it for the advertised price but I needed a bill of sale so I could get the check cut. I was doing my own financing. That’s when it started. They would not return my phone calls or send me a bill of sale even when I repeated asked. Finally after work the next day I headed down to the dealership. (40 minute drive). Talked to a couple of guys and finally he gave me a bill of sale. How about that, 3000 bucks more. The price had ‘changed’ overnight and there was a 1800 dollar certification fee. We talked, we argued, it didn’t go well. Just advertise the real price and don’t be shady. I walked out. These guys are what give dealerships a bad reputation.

    When it comes to pricing, they are WAY OFF. Do not expect to purchase a car here based on their websites listing because it is incorrect. Also, don't bother negotiating pricing and terms. The fact that the salespeople use the same repetitive line over and over again while the sales managers sit in the back office knowing that they will not negotiate unless it is in their interest speaks volumes as to how they view their customers. Absolutely no transparency at all with this dealership.

    My sales guy had me and another person buying a car at the same time. You could tell he was running here and there being extremely busy but he still made time to check in with both of us many times to chat and offer us a beverage, etc. I never felt forgotten. Also, it was dinner time and I hadn't planned on buying that night and was starving so he bought me dinner. Then, I have too many safety features on my debit card and not carrying a check book I wasn't able to pay my whole down payment. I still got to drive my new car home to come back the next day to finish up. My garage smelled like new car. I purchased the CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve. I'm 5'2" and it fit me very well. I absolutely love the slick heads up display, as I don't need too take my eyes off the road to see my speed or other notifications. Also, the dashboard display is controlled with a nob and buttons. It feels so much safer then the touch screen displays in other cars I drove. I'm mean really, you are not supposed to play on your smart phone when you are driving, why give people a tablet attached to their dashboards to play with. I'm I right?! Update: 10 months after buying my car I'm finally getting my first oil change and tire rotation. They were free. Yay! A coupon I got when I purchased my car. I made my appointment through the mobile app. Everyone was very nice and the waiting room is too. Free water, coffee, hot cocoa and snacks plus two big TV's.

    The salesperson, Ethan, was friendly enough at first. We test drove a car for my son. We had another one we wanted to test drive across the street. It’s his first car buying experience, and I didn’t want him to jump at the first car he sees. He really liked the used 2015 Mazda 3i touring he tested. However, the computer was glitching immediately. We restarted the car, and it worked fine after that, but it’s a matter of a 15 minute drive total. When we returned to the dealership, we told Ethan about the glitching computer. He took it for a drive and said it worked fine for him, but he’d have the mechanics take a look at it. All we said was that we were going across the street to look at another car- and he immediately said he needs to let the mechanics know to stop looking at the car. We never said we weren’t interested in it. He jumped the gun. We inquired why he wouldn’t have them look at it, and he said they cost $150/hr to do work. So regardless if we were purchasing the car or not, someone else will. Shouldn’t it be looked at if there’s a problem?! We brought this to his attention and he had a little temper tantrum and stormed off. We were most likely going to return to purchase that car, but that was ruined with a terrible attitude and business practice. I would never work with Ethan again.

    Not a good experience. All Russ Darrows seem to not be honest car dealerships. We looked at specific car online that was listed a certain price. When we sat down to to negotiate a price the first proposal was not anywhere near the advertised price online. At least 3,000 to 4,000 over. When I called them out on this they tried to say that price online is only valid under certain circumstances. I explained the way their website posts things is very misleading, as in the snapshot attached from their website does not state any restrictions for the price. I explained no reputable car dealer would do this and they need to honor their online price. They were unwilling to do this. Stating this is what all car dealerships do (which is not true). Unfortunately this seems to be Russ Darrow's tactic. I had also about year or two ago gone to Russ Darrow Nissan near Good Hope Rd, and again found myself not being given a fair price as they would not honor the online advertised price. It seems to be a way to trick people to coming in. The sad thing is some people are probably accepting this deception and buy a car anyway.

I never once felt pressured into purchasing a car which made my experience that much better. They made sure I was fully informed of everything before purchasing, during and after.     Ethan was our salesman and he was great to deal with. Straight forward no beating around the bush. They did not try to upcharge due to lack of inventory which is what happened to my close friend who bought the same car from a different dealer. Only little gripe I had leading to 4 star is that they add a protection package thing which is $2400 to the price of the vehicle and they won’t take it off cause it’s a paint protection coating that is already done to the vehicle among other things. It does cover the rims and leather if they get damaged or ripped and the paint all for 3 years and roadside assistance which is nice but it’s not a necessary thing but you pay for it regardless. In this crazy market they were great to deal with.

    I wasn't happy with my original dealer's service team as it took forever to get a response for an appointment and I never really felt like I could trust the work. After looking for another Mazda dealer in my area, I came across this dealership and not only was I and to get in the same week I called, but the work took less than an hour to complete. The waiting area is very nice and I feel more comfortable going to a dealer that's dedicated to the Mazda brand. I will return if I need service in the future.

    Ivan Lopez was amazing! I walked in and and was instantly greeted, I explained to him that the Russ Darrow in Madison had no interest in bringing the car I was interested in and he took it from there. He let my son and I just go out for the test drive and when it came down to finance he explained to me that Russ Darrow Madison “shotgunned” me to 13 banks making it extremely difficult to find financing. Ultimately I left without the car but it wasn’t because of they didn’t try.

    Called the dealer to ask about a specific model car. They said it’s in stock, I confirmed a second time that the car was on the lot, they said yes. She asked me if I wanted to make an appointment for a test drive, and I asked if I needed to make an appointment or I could just walk in. She said appointments are easier for them because they are short staffed and that way they could be ready. Made my appointment for the next day and drove out to the dealer. Drove over an hour to find out not only was the car not there, but the person I made the appointment to meet with also wasn’t there. The whole purpose of the appointment was to test drive the car, and the whole purpose of making an appointment rather than just showing up was because I was told it was easier for their staff, and yet the person I was supposed to meet wasn’t there and neither was the car. Shame that Mazda has a bunch of clueless people working at their dealership. Embarrassing honestly.

    They did not accept my financing from a bank that recommended them which was odd. Then they offered me $4000.00 lower for my trade in than every dealer I went to prior. Then the next day they raised the price of the vehicle by $2000.00 - This is probably why they lowballed me on my Lexus trade in. This is a clueless and useless dealership.     Traveled from Madison (over an hour) only to find that the price of the vehicle I wanted was more than $1000 higher than the listed price on the website.     Since I bought this car from Russ Darrow in 2014 I have never gone anywhere else for my oil changes. I will continue to go to your shop as the service has always been outstanding, but this time there was a problem. We had an oil change and tire rotation. Discovered a nail in one tire so we had you fix that. On Friday morning my husband found a lug nut in the driveway. It belonged to the front right tire and we were happy it was in the driveway. We may not have noticed it if it had come off on the street somewhere. My husband is a retired mechanic and has power tools so he replaced the lug nut and checked all the rest of them. If more lug nuts had been loose the tire could have fallen off while driving so it could have resulted in a bad accident. Please remind your mechanics that the lug nuts are extremely important and they need to be very careful when attaching them. Thank you for your service.

    Brought my new car in for its first oil change and to have my door handle looked at since it wasn’t opening from the inside. I didn’t have an appointment but the service manager still took care of me as if I did. My car was fixed and ready to go before I had to head into work tonight. They even sent me a video update while working on my car explaining what happened with my door handle! This was the best service experience I’ve had with a dealership and I will definitely be coming back here for future services and my next Mazda.

    Great experience. I hate going to dealerships because I have had some bad experiences. At first I was hesitant because when we walked in noone greeted us and we walked around for a minute lost as to who we should speak to. Everyone seemed pretty busy so understandable. I'm sure we just came at a time where there wasnt someone at the reception desk. Jason came across the building and greeted us. He was very straight forward and not pushy atall. He did what he could on pricing for me and I left to think. He wasnt rude to me because I used up his time and didnt buy. I called the manager to ask for cost on something for the vehicle and Jason called me back within a few minutes with an answer. We wanted to get home so I asked him if I ran to the bank if he could have them clean the car and vacuum (it was a recent trade in) and he got on it right away. When we got back paperwork went quickly and smoothly. We noticed that new plates were in the price and I had my own plates(simple miscommunication). Since I already had the check they are sending me the difference back (I will update review later if there are any issues with that). They could have easily left that alone and I wouldnt have known the difference...but they didnt. I feel like that says alot. My only complaint would be that I wasnt told the key fob didnt work. I didnt think to check it but the doors were locked before it was brought up for test drive so someone knew that. I didn't contact them because I changed the battery and reprogrammed it myself(it was after their closing time anyway), but I'm confident they would have helped me out with it had I called them. (Bonus points if you send me back what you would charge for a new battery and key fob programming guys! Haha just kidding) Honestly, if that is the only problem I had I am a happy customer! I have been looking since the beginning of this year and walked away from many dealers because I had a bad feeling. These guys are professional and talk to you like you're more than dollar signs. Ofcourse they suggest other ways to pay for any amount they say over what you have..its the job. But definitely not pushy like I've had at some places. **edit to update- I did recieve a check for the refund for the difference for the plates last week!**

    Check engine light was on so I brought my car in to have it diagnosed and repaired. I got a loaner car for the duration of the repair, staff was friendly and helpful and repairs were completed in a timely manner. I will definitely bring my car back for routine maintenance and any other issues I may run into.

    The customer service person was knowledgeable and helpful. The cashier charged me an extra 3% for you see my credit card. There credit card policy was not disclosed in advance when I made the appointment. Had they disclosed it in advance I could have brought cash or a check. .

    The personnel at the Service Desk was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. The waiting center was eye appealing, had comfortable chairs, had food and beverage offerings. The service was performed in a timely manner and met my expectations. I would not take my 2 Mazda vehicles anywhere else for service.

    Awful experience! I went in to purchase a used vehicle. We test drove one and before we did, confirmed the sale price, which matched what was listed online. We decided to move forward with the purchase of the vehicle and the sales person, Ivan Lopez, said he had to get the pricing?? He came back with a price that was approximately $4000 more than what he had stated before the test drive and what was listed online. This is on a used vehicle that we believed was going to cost $15K - this is a huge upcharge! We were going to be paying cash and did not have a trade in. He indicated that the online price was only if you had a trade in and would be financing. This higher price was way above market value for this used car. I asked to speak with a manager and Erick Perez came in and was not flexible or helpful, maintaining his insistence that we needed to finance the car. While we were dealing on the vehicle, a separate sales person came in to ask for the keys and said he was going to go test drive the car and that this customer had a trade in and was going to finance it. This was all after we said we would purchase it. We did not want to finance it and decided to leave. We noticed from the time the other sales person took the keys, we were there for about 15 minutes more - no other customers went near or test drove the car - it was a hoax to pressure us to purchase the vehicle. We will never go back to this dealership in the future. We since purchased a similar vehicle from a different dealer with less miles, more options on it and at the $15K mark.

    Russ Darrow Mazda is always reaching out to its customers. That being said I must say the contact to customers and checking on the satisfaction level following interactions is refreshing in this day and age. I received a postcard offering an upgrade seemed too good to be true and after a skeptical stopping by the dealership I now own a 2021. Adam was very informative and made this one of my most pleasant auto purchasing experiences. He has reached out to assure my understanding of vehicle and controls.     If you go anywhere else as a mazda owner you're missing out. Your service tech makes a personalized video of them going over the status of your engine bay, undercarriage, suspension, and brakes that they then send via text while you wait. Then at the end of your service you can request for them to wash your car. While you're waiting you can hang out in their lounging area where they have drinks and snacks for you to enjoy. It really doesn't take them long at all. If there happens to be any issues with your vehicle that need to be addressed they will text you letting you know and send a link asking if you would like any additional service to resolve the issues.

    We walked into your store yesterday, thinking we knew what we wanted... WOW were we wrong haha. Alex (AJ) Put us into a Mazda MX5 and we were sold. We didn't even think about the other cars we looked at. Came back today and are proud owners of said SUV. Alex (AJ) Worked super hard to get us in this vehicle and make sure it's what we wanted. Had an amazing experience, and wouldn't trade it for anything! We are super happy, and still are in shock at how much we enjoyed the MX5. It really wasn't on our radar!     My experience here was nothing short of unimpressive and disappointing. I had scheduled a test drive and when I got there, we waited in the lobby for 30 minutes going completely ignored. (an employee who had just gotten there to work told us he was going to grab somebody but nobody came) We decided to leave and go home, meaning we had wasted an hour and a half of my only day off. They then called me back and asked me to come back on another day. I wasn’t able to get back there until the next day, so I asked if they would take a deposit to hold the car, which the sales associate said they don’t do. Then, the day I was supposed to come back, I noticed all the listings of the car had been deleted, so I emailed him asking if it had been sold. He never replied. I finally decided to call and cancel my appointment. When I did, the receptionist told me that the person I had made the appointment with was done for the day anyways...Meaning if I had shown up that second time, he wouldn’t have been there. Thankfully, my experience at Bergstrom was the complete opposite of this!

    Just stunned that a buisness functions in this manner. There aren't enough words to describe the disappointment. Simple as this, the discounted price listed online is all incentives added on and a separate $2000 paint protection accessory plan added on which they only mention at the end . IMO a sleezy tactic to show a lower price, to bring traffic and then try to bargain with you after vesting time and energy into the process. I was told by the Intial point of contact that the discounted price is not incentive related and infact could add one to bring price down further. Also, was told they participate in Mazda financing which was also a lie. Keep in mind I had asked 2 or 3 times if they were sure about the price because I was to drive an hour and half out there. When asked about the matter to the floor manager and GM, all they could say was that, it was mistake but I don't buy it. How can the first point of contact be that misinformed. Something so important, even if your unsure naturally that person would differ to someone else. Ultimately, they did nothing for me to get the price down or meet me half way. Absolutely nothing. After speaking with the saleswoman and manager, the best they could do was say sorry. After speaking with the GM he himself apologized and I insisted he pay my gas, which he did but again that's nearly 3 hrs of my life wasted. Here's the kicker they had on a $2000 paint protection/point incentive/etc. plan done to the car Without giving you an option. First I have ever heard of this and I visited several dealerships. By now the price of this car has gone up $3-$4000. They tried to convince me that it's a common practice among Wisconsin dealerships during covid, which was not true because the next dealership who was clear about price and financing gave me the option to add on. The common practice I have seen. In fact bought a car from them. It was simple, they were clear about price ,financing and they got my business. No games.

    Shell Game Sept 3rd 2021 Shell Game 1 Niece wanted to purchase her first new vehicle that we test drove on Sept.1st. Upon arrival at dealership when speaking with salesperson car was sold which I understand in today’s market at that point the salesperson did suggest same model with an extra SV package for $1566, at that moment decided to pass. We than went home and discussed and decided let’s go back to dealership felt we were getting a decent amount of extra equipment for the $1566 extra. When salesperson came out with price they added a MANDATORY $1999 protection package on car and $2000 for trade one low balled offer. So everyone understands the price listed on website for new vehicle WAS dead on Edmunds, which I’m fine with but then we NEEDED to be dead on Edmunds used car pricing for trade so we got up and walked. Within 3 minutes of leaving dealership they texted my niece and magically the MANDATORY $1999 protection package was taken off the table and trade in for car was $4000. Formula Used: $2907 for trade (Edmunds $3023) and $1093 (Dealer website discount) = $4000 off by $116 for trade. Hmmmm. At that point decided to digest the numbers over holiday weekend. Sept. 6th 2021 Shell Game 2 Decision made we decided we did not want to trade car in and we would sell car out right ourselves. Over we go and we were met by our salesperson and explained we now we wanted to pay CASH for new car and we’re not interested in trading car in as discussed days earlier. They stated they could not do cash deal that they wanted our trade REALLY. They did present us a new purchase price with the MANDATORY $1999 protection packages again because we were not trading car in. I never heard of a dealer not wanting your CASH! Got up and walked and stated do not contact us. Sept 7th 2021 Shopping trip to Deer Park Shopping Center we happened to be driving passed Napleton Mazda in Libertyville Illinois and noticed same vehicle we test drove on Sept 1st 2021 so she decided to email them for their current market price within 10 minutes had price and up front they said that they are selling ALL Mazda’s $2000 over MSRP. (AKA $1999 Protection Package) I was taught to add and subtract in Grade school. Russ Darrow shows discount online and than takes back at dealership table. Good Luck Everyone when visiting Russ Darrow Mazda Greenfield. They will never see me again and everyone I tell about their SHELL GAME!

    If I could leave less than a one star review I would. I have purchased many vehicles over the years and this is the first dealer to pull a bait and switch and claim "all dealers price this way". They absolutely do not. If you list a car as certified at "x" price, that price includes the certification. Russ Darrow Mazda however will post phony prices that are alluring to get you in only to magically go up 2k+ to pass through the certified costs. They also touted the car with these additional costs was fair market priced. Sorry, they were not. My feedback to the dealer? Change your business model to an ethical one. Maybe then these types of reviews will stop since clearly I am not the first to see through it based on other feedback you received. My feedback to potential customers. Do not shop here unless you want to be robbed!!!

    I purchased my vehicle from a different Russ Darrow dealership but brought it here because it was closer. My appointment was for an oil change, which I had a free coupon for. I feel that at a lot of places when they don't get to charge you the full price, they don't do their best. This was NOT the case at Russ Darrow Mazda. I was greeted nicely when I drove in and directed as to where I should go for information and billing. The lady inside taking my information was very courteous and told me where the waiting area was. I waited approximately 20 min and the gentleman came out went over the service chart with me, asked if I had any questions and told me to have a wonderful day. After leaving the facility, I recieved a text message to be able to watch them service my car. He showed me my suspension and under the hood on the video, stating that all looked good. No rust, cracks or worn areas. All fluids looked good and air was added to tires. This was fantastic cuz now I also was able to see under the car and that gave me piece of mind. If this is what they do when you have a free coupon, I can only imagine what they do for full paying services. I will definitely be back! Side note... my vehicle isn't even a MAZDA.

    Don’t go here if you’re expecting an honest trade in value or if you’re expecting to get the actual sale price of the vehicle you see online. When I walked in and mentioned the cars I wanted to see, I was immediately grilled about what website I saw the vehicles on and that I was not seeing the “certified” price and not to be shocked when I see it come in higher. Secondly, my vehicle which was valued on KBB trade in at 12.5 was given a valuation of 9. And others may overstate what they think their car is worth, I get that. But I bought a vehicle later that day and was given 12.8 for my trade in. This wasn’t my only bad experience with this dealership either. I won’t bring up my other one since it happened over 10 years ago, but I will never work with them again. I had bought two Mazda’s previously from this dealership too. I love Mazda but if you can make a drive to a different dealer I’d highly recommend it. The next time I’m on the market I will drive to any other Mazda dealership in the state to avoid this one.

    I give 3 stars, an average of 5 for service, and 1 for sales. I used to have a brand new Mazda CX-5 (that I bought at the Russ Darrow Metro Mazda location) and the service department at this location was always awesome. Easy scheduling, prompt service upon arrival, never any problems. I visited service for oil changes and there were a few recalls that had to be done. My 17 year daughter had been searching for a Ford Focus in her price range (and had saved up enough to pay cash) and located a 2013 with fairly low miles that was the color she wanted online. We reached out and made an appointment, then headed to check it out. Kelly the Salesperson was very accommodating and helpful, unfortunately her Manager (believe his name was Ben) was impossible to work with. First, my daughter is in a cast (with her driving leg) for a few more days so I drove the car with her as the passenger (she’s hoping to have her own car as soon as she gets her cast off). I drove us to the dealership in my car. No trade, no financing needed, looking to write an offer and put money down tonight, then come pick up tomorrow with a cashiers check for the balance. Just needed to finalize the price to know how much to get the check for. The Sales Manager was completely oblivious, focused on us “driving it off the lot” tonight, recommending that my daughter get financing to build credit, and said that for cars in this price (just under $8k) they don’t usually let someone bring the balance the next day. WHAT? Then he goes on to say that there is someone else coming at 9 am tomorrow for this specific vehicle and they will call me if they don’t take it. Unbelievable.

    Worst customer experience! Had Kelly the dealer rep waste my time for 2 days ! Went to get an appraisal on Friday she told me she wanted the vehicle and everything was good. I go next morning to go fish the deal ,now supposedly she can’t buy it . Never told me anything before hand made me drive there for nothing. I would not do business with this shady dealer especially Kelly the sales persons !!

    Local dealer did not have a car, and sent my wife to Russ Darrow in Greenfield - 1.5 hr drive. They had the car that we wanted, but tacked on an additional $3000 to MSRP, and $2000 for "clear coat". They are rip-off artists - I would NEVER refer anyone to this unscrupulous dealer!

    Very difficult to work with. Tried saying they would not accept outside financing (which meant we would hand them a check for the full amount from our bank). Had to get cooperate involved to allow. General manager did typical car salespeople stuff of talking down about my trade-in vehicle which was a load of BS. The car salesperson we worked with was new - but we felt as if we had to hold her hand and walk her through what should be done/how to fill out paperwork. We went to the dealer three times - each time there were more scratches on the purchase vehicle. We were told the vehicle would be washed & fully detailed when we came to pick it up. The exterior was washed but nothing more & could see all the marks from them partially drying it. The interior looked no different - still marks on the seats/needs a good cleaning. We were specifically told that the engine bay would be cleaned - however it was not touched at all. Overall, not a dealer I would recommend. Honestly not a dealer I would even ever go to when searching for a car. They just happened to have the specific vehicle I was looking for (even though they advertised it incorrectly). Finance guy was down to earth and easy to work with. He’s why I’m giving 2 stars vs 1.

    We went to see a van for a certain price, confirmed by initial sales person who set up the appt to come in. We got there, and $2000 was added bc we didn't have a trade in. NO WHERE on the website or anywhere does it say that, nor were we told that until papers were being drawn up. Then, the car was dead and needed to be jumped. Then they sold it to us with a completely empty tank of gas so we couldn't go more than 10mi without. breaking down. In addition, they only gave us the dealer key, not any other key, then the driver's side window control doesn't work, and other things that we found the night we drove it off the lot, but couldn't inspect at the time because the car was dead and needed a. jump. Fine, yes some of our fault there. However, I called them that night and the next day and left voicemails and they didn't call back at all. Since driving it for one week, things falling off, like seat plastic moldings, car very dirty, tires don’t match and no idea when oil change is due bc no sticker and again, won’t call back. Seems like they couldn't care less once they get their money. I bought cars from other places, and this was the worst experience by far.

    My wife and I would highly recommend Russ Darrow Mazda of Greenfield to anyone looking to buy a vehicle! From the moment we walked in we were impressed with the customer service not only our salesman Alejandro offered, but the Sales manager Ben, and to finish it off the financial gentleman Jeff. Very professional, answered every question we had in detail, and really made sure we were getting the vehicle we wanted. We did not feel any pressure to buy, which sometimes is the case. My wife and I have both worked in customer service at one point in our lives, and we were both speechless once we left. Again, if you live in the Milwaukee Area, and are looking for a new or used car, this is the place you want to go! We also do not write a lot of reviews, this dealership was so beyond and above our expectations, we had to let others know the great experience we had!

    I worked with Kelly Murray on a Saturday morning. I told her that I respected her time and that I wouldn't be buying anything that day; just simply comparison shopping. Never once did she pressure me into buying a car; however she spent a full hour of her time answering every question that I had. And let me tell you, that woman knows what she is talking about!!     Don’t shop here. We were like you. We scrolled through these google reviews, and saw the mix of four and five stars and thought, hey how bad can it be? We lured in by competitive pricing on a used Subaru Impreza. However when we went to the dealership, the told us the price was several thousand dollars more than advertised. This is not negotiating tactic, they are firm on charging you more. What’s more we were incorrectly told what types payments they could take. And they tried their best into strong arming us into financing the car, even though we had cash in hand. These people are dishonorable liars and will waste your time. Please don’t make the mistake we did and think that if you’re smart you can get advertised price. You can’t.

    I purchased a 2017 Mazda 3 Touring Hatchback at Russ Darrow Mazda of Greenfield on 10/13/20. It was a major financial commitment that I was feeling a little nervous about.     Saw a 2013 gmc terrain I was interested in , stopped by on Sunday to have a look I called on Monday and spoke to someone for a test drive. I was a concerned about why the price went from 14995 to 10395 , I asked if the car had any problems . I was told the car was well maintained and no problems. I came to test drive the car and was met by guss. He brought the car for a test drive. He immediately told me car has a leaking time chain cover and bad control arms I can't believe that Russ Darrow would sell this for 10395 in such poor condition and needing immediate service. I will never shop with Russ Darrow ever again. I could do better at a corner car lot !

    Monday June 28th. Kelly Murray, was great. Love the CX-30. One big glitch though. I test drove a white model, and loved it. The blue one, online, was at the northside dealership. I said great, you guys will deliver it to my house. On my way home, I called my insurance agent, to make the correct changes to my policy. About 10 minutes later, Erik called me and said the blue car was stolen! Nobody on the northside told Greenfield about the missing vehicle. It caused a major inconvenience for all of us. You had to get a car from Madison! On Tuesday, Kelly, and one of the lot guys, brought the Madison car, to my house. Kelly, walked me through everything. They were both very nice. Tell the person, on the northside, that he, or she, owes all of you a free lunch, and me a trailer hitch! I would have given you 4 stars, because of their error, but I don't want it to hurt you.

    Great service. Used online appointment application, brought the car in and they were ready to go. They provided a loaner car for the day so I could get back to work. They took care of the problem and coordinated with warranty company for payment. Problem fixed and better yet no charge to me. Car has 72k miles and covered under extended warranty.

    Yesterday I drove to the store with a bit of stress in my heart, it was my first vehicle purchasing with financing, and the task seemed a bit daunting. I wasn't looking forward to negotiating, and having to be pushy to get a price point that I wanted. HOWEVER, all of these anxieties were laid to rest because of one of their great workers, Gustavo. He really went the extra mile to ensure it was a smooth transaction, without any hiccups. He is very understanding to what your looking for in a vehicle, and was not at all pushy in a salesmen sense. I highly recommend anyone going to this location for a car purchase to ask for Gustavo, if you would like a pleasant experience. Thanks!

    Terrible experience. I would not recommend anyone going to this dealership. I was given the wrong paperwork and had to come back in to resign the correct documents. After not driving my brand new car for a few days I tried to start it and the car had died. There’s a defect with one of the modules in the CX5 that drains the car battery. I had to get the car towed and no one from the dealership would call me to update me about the car. I had to call everyday to see what was wrong or if there were any updates. Very frustrated so far in the whole process and it has only been four weeks. Again, I would recommend going to another dealer.

    Was told to come in on Saturday to test drive the car. The car was on the rack when I got in, having a transmission being installed. Filled out paperwork, gave the dealership my information, and was told I would get a call within an hour or so. Never got a call. Called back Monday. Salesperson was out. Got a call Tuesday asking about my experience, I explained the situation, they again directed me to the dealership where I asked about the financing again and was told I’d get a call back again and never did. Nothing Wednesday. I called again Thursday and they told my financing had cleared on Saturday, they failed to call me back and had sold it to someone else later on Saturday. No one for 4 days could tell me if my financing was good or even that the car had been sold. I’m sure people have fine experiences, but this one reflects a lack of communication between employees and terrible treatment of customers.

    I've leased two Mazda's from this dealership now and both experiences were quick and professional. Their Service department is clean and well maintained and on the few times I've used them for maintenance the work has been well done.

    I have purchased my last 4 cars at this dealership and have gotten every oil change, set of tires and every service check up there but unfortunately after my experience there yesterday I will NEVER AGAIN consider this dealership for my business. I am test driving cars to determine what models will make my short list for a car purchase in the fall. I told the sales rep I had a significant history with Darrow and that I wanted to take a CX-5 and a CX-30 out for test drives. I didn't think anything about it when he offered to look at my car for a trade in value while out driving the two cars but when I returned he started to put the full court hard press on me to get me to buy today. He told me he had to go talk to his manager and then walked out of the building and was seen visiting other sales reps not returning my car keys. He came back and said it would be just awhile longer and then when I told him once more I was not buying today he said "then why are we working up numbers" He continued by asking what amount I'd be comfortable with as a monthly payment and I told him I wasn't buying today and he again said he had to go talk to his manager and left. Several more minutes went by with nobody coming to talk to me so I saw my keys laying on a random desk so I took them and left. After this I went to 2 other dealerships who I had never done business with previously and told the sales reps I wanted to test drive their comparable models. Neither dealership took my keys, neither dealership disrespected my time, instead they heard and respected my timeline and encouraged me to return if I have any additional questions. Funny, I got an email from someone at Russ Darrow today saying they were a Customer Advocate and to contact them to let them know about my experience. Turns out the person named in that email was furloughed 2 months ago...
