    Beyond horrible dealership. I came from Green Bay to trade in my car. I purchased a 2019 kia optima. Certified as well. I put my trust in them. So many issues the sales man they gave me. He was so useless and did not know a thing. But beyond that I got the car. Get in it not a drop of gas in it. OK I pay them a pretty good chunk of money. Should been my first red flag. Got it home started to have a issue. Called dealer and salesman would not even return my call. Left messages and emails for sales manager and dealer manager to call me. Nope that did not happen either. I brought the car to my local kia dealer. Oil dirty not changed. Cabin filter plugged. Air filter plugged beyond past life. Also missing radiator cap. Now I understand that these are all simple things I could have checked. But you go to a dealership. Purchase a certified car. You trust they have done that. Think again trust me look elsewhere.

    The staff at Russ Darrow Kia of Waukesha were welcoming and friendly. Everything went smoothly for us. We hadn't apparently budgeted enough time to spend at the dealer and were needing to get back home to pick up kids from school, so they kindly rushed the last bit of the process and were very accommodating. The finance person is a wizard! Got through the stack of papers fast but accurately! They seemed up front about everything and I didn't find myself being surprised by any little gotchas along the way. We drove in from an hour away and after this experience I would make the drive again in the future to do business with this dealer.

    I have never purchased a car from a dealership. I went there and Kenny helped me out. The whole team there was fantastic and helpful. Very friendly staff. I was out of there in about 3 hours. I love my car and will definitely be going back when it's time for a new one.

    The man that did the check in was great. Very friendly very nice. I went in for an oil change. Did the job. Car came out. Everything looked fine. I was driving home on freeway. Boom! Sounded like I blew a tire. Thankfully I didn't. They forgot to use all my screws to set my plastic cover of my undercarriage. I took it back after I figured put what it was. They fixed it, but acted like it was no big deal. "He doesn't know how that happened". Is what they told me. I know. He didn't use all the screws. Will not be going back. Only reason a 3 is the gentleman that checked me in.

    Very poor customer service. Bad first impression. Test drove a vehicle spotted some issues. The vehicle has awd and the front tires are practically brand new and the back tires are worn. An awd vehicle should have same tread. When driving it on the freeway once we got to freeway speed of 70 the car started to shake. We were told they would put in the shop and look at the concerns Monday and call us beginning of week. So five days later no phone call. We had to call them and were told they may not look at it til the following week. Very bad communication. We totally understand work places being short staff. All you need to do is communicate to keep the customer informed. Spoke with general manager who promised a call back in a hour and never received one. They general manager didn’t seem very concerned or interested in what I had to say, was always over talking me. I got a phone call saying that they had their technicians look at it and found no problems. Talked down to us as well. They wanted us to look at another used vehicle in which had a huge ding on the drivers door that went down to the metal which will eventually cause rust. The new car manager said we should look at new since we don’t like their used inventory. We told her we don’t want a car with a big ding that we were interested in the one that had the issues just needed those fixed.

    Bought a vehicle there, paid cash. Two months later I still don't have the title and car is just sitting on the driveway collecting dust. I will edit this review once I get the title as the sales process was actually really good.

    My husband and I recently bought a 2021 Kia Sorento from Katie! She was a lovely sales woman who was knowledgeable about the cars, super friendly, and wasn’t afraid to ask for help when my husband asked some of the most random questions. The sales manager was friendly and accommodating with the many questions we had and was able to make the perfect deal for us. Once the deal was set and stone the GM even went to give us a full tank!     Not too happy with our last visit. Less than a month after buying our car the oil light comes on, alerting us to add oil. After a two week wait our vehicle was inspected and the service department could find nothing wrong. Wasted a free oil change (well before service was due) just to err on the side of caution. A month later, the light comes on again and we have to add more oil. Another two week wait and our car is serviced again. This time they want to do a test but they need to start with another oil change, using our second free oil change, 1000 miles before it’s due. We were told there hasn’t been a recall related to the amount of oil the car is eating. However, search online and several articles reveal that a Kia will start to guzzle more and more oil at 60,000 miles. If the oil was changed before we bought it, there’s no logical reason why we should be having to add oil after a few weeks. This leads to their multi-point inspection that was done at the service appointment today which revealed a coolant and transmission flush require immediate attention. We bought the car on the cusp of 92000 miles and this should have been done at the 90000 mile mark as recommended by the manufacturer. Another customer that was waiting overheard my conversation with the service department and said she was experiencing the same thing with her Kia. Very disappointing. Buyer beware.

    Waukesha Kia performed service on my Seltos. Oil change, tire rotation and a recall item. The employees were helpful and professional. My car was finished in a timely manner. I received a call upon completion and the gentleman brought me to the cashier and retrieved my car. Great customer service!

    The service associate was very thorough in reviewing during the service the various steps and checks to be performed on my vehicle. My vehicle was serviced much faster than I expected. The service associate then reviewed everything that was done or checked on my vehicle. I paid my balance and was on my way! I’ve dealt with various car dealerships before, on both maintenance and major repairs. My experience today was A+++ outstanding from beginning to end. I rarely write this about an automotive service experience: I am actually looking forward to going back!!! A+++!

    Eric my service writer was polite, professional, and just a good reasonable guy. The issue with our van was diagnosed while I waited in the waiting room. They also had video of the inspection sent to my phone so I could see what needed work. I felt the service visit went very well.

    I went for one of my complimentary oil changes, and was handed a story about this special type of oil my car uses, in an effort to make money. Terrible, because the service mgr could Not even explain what the difference in oils was, proof of a gimmick. Also, a simple oil change and inspection took over an hour, because my car was finished and another customer told me it had been sitting outside for a long time. So, lying about oil and then having poor communication.. If it wasn't for the complimentary, haha, oil changes, I wouldn't return.

    I drove 1.5hr from Chicago to test drive an Audi TT. When arrived, I found the car to have the GM items still in the trunk, but I liked the car and was interested to purchase. Prior to coming, there sale manager email me the price of 33k. Upon time to start the sale, the GM change the price to 35k and said “I know what I have”. I walked straight out. Shady business practice. Save your time and stay far away!

    I drove from Chicago to this dealership because every dealer around here was charging a lot of fee's on top of the vehicle price. Fast and smooth transaction with no games.     To keep this short, I will leave out all of the normal things you would expect. We agreed on the asking price posted on the Internet (Not the $7000 higher price posted on the car) minus $100 for a battery because the car wouldn't start after the lights were on for 10 minutes. The negotiating manager accused me of causing the problem by looking under the hood. She was unaware I am A certified master mechanic and knew exactly what was going on, but it is very unprofessional to accuse people of doing things you don't even know happened. I told them I could pay with my checking that I just got with Summit and had transferred from my line of credit. The said they couldn't do that without a physical check. The salesman said I could put money down on a Credit Card, but then after talking up the chain. I was told the General manager who wasn't there said no. Then another salesman told me if I financed I could buy it today. 7PM. I refused to finance when I could pay cash. He insisted that they would not hold the car and that nothing short of full payment would work. I offered several times over hours to put money down, sign a contract and get them the balance before picking up the car, but they would not budge, insisting this is normal practice. I had no confidence this car would be available after leaving the store. The 2 salesman seemed upset with the situation too. This doesn't seem like a normal transaction. The only way I was able to complete the transaction was to have my wife bring from home the checkbook for our other line of credit. I can only guess why they didn't want to sell me the car at asking price. I don't know, so I won't speculate here. I want to give a good review for everything that happened before this, because the salesman was great. That being said, this was completly ridiculous.

    How Sales Departments at car dealerships work has always been an issue when car buying and that’s why it’s so inconvenient to deal with them. Making large purchases like cars should be a fun experience and not a competitive issue between sales people. When sales gets a lead and you call to get information about a vehicle you want, you have to talk to the “same” person that you are a assigned lead to because other sales people “don’t have enough information” about you and you have to wait for the your sales person to call you back. I was easily going to purchase a Kia Forte GT from Darrow Kia, but because the sales lady on the phone couldn’t answer my questions because I am assigned to someone else and I had to wait for a callback, that’s the commission sales structure and environment these dealerships provide, it’s not the sales peoples fault. I live in Waukesha but a dealership in Illinois treated me a lot better than just a lead, answered my question and I’m driving there for my Kia Forte GT. How embarrassing is that? How a dealership treats you is how your experience will be going forward with them. You have been warned about this one.

    For the past year I have been going to the dealership that I purchased my vehicle at. The Russ Darrow on HWY100. This visit to the Dealership in Waukesha was a completely different experience for me. I was greeted and treated with respect. I work in health care, as leadership for a support call center. I truly value customer support. The service I received exceeded my expectations based on all of my previous experiences with the other service department. My service representative we extremely thorough and professional. This gentleman made a great impression on me and made me feel any issue I had would be his main focus. I was in for just a simple oil change but I left a customer of this dealership. Any service I need in the future I will be returning to this location. Thank you for renewing my faith in true customer service. It is all of the little things that make the difference. From the time I arrived to the time I left. I felt valued and not just another number.

    Service was good. Service writer Chuck was very prompt at giving updates. Only thing that bothers me is the 3.5 percent surcharge that applies if you use a credit card to pay your bill. This was not communicated very well and only a sign by the cashier advises. Do not know if other dealers do this, but will want to check it out.

    I've done business with other dealerships and test driven cars through others as well. When I ran my vehicle into the ground and was in need of a new ride, I was dreading having to look for a car. My experience with dealerships have been average or below average... so I braced myself thinking it was not going to be fun. Honestly, Ken and the rest at Russ Darrow Kia are now at the top of my list for customer service, enjoyable car-buying experience, and quality of vehicles in-stock. I'm so impressed and delighted with everything, and I will be going back in the future. Ken has such a genuine character - he made my wife and I feel very comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. NEVER did we feel pressured to buy or make a decision we were not okay with. Ken wanted to get to know my wife and I first, and then put us in the perfect car. Writing this review a week later, I have no "buyer's regret". In fact, I think I love the car even more having driven it for a week. Thank you Ken and everyone else at Russ Darrow!!!

    Prompt service, friendly atmosphere. They should enforce their mask policy though, there were customers without them and our household is high risk. 07/19/2021 - prompt and efficient service, quick turn around. Really liked the video inspection.

    Came here to have my key fab programmed because when I bought my car from a different dealership it didn’t come with one. The gentleman in the service department (Jon) had awesome customer service! He called me to let me know the progress and how much longer it would be before it was done, since I didn’t wait there. And because it’s Christmas time it saved me some money from their discount. Very satisfied! And will definitely be coming back when I need service done to my vehicle.

    It was my first time buying a car, so I was really intimidated, especially because I was going in alone. I personally recommend going to Jordan. I texted her what car I wanted. Even though they didn’t have the car I wanted in their lot at the time, she went and got the car for me and had it in the same day I asked for it! Everyone was so nice and friendly. They made the experience really pleasant. Highly recommend!

    The salesmen and maintenance are all very helpful, friendly, and easy to talk to. Service is quick and painless, and no curveballs are thrown into pricing. Everything's up front and at your discretion. I'm knocking a star off mainly because of how a test drive for a Stinger was handled. What I was told is that you need to be seriously considering purchasing the vehicle that day or within the next couple days to avoid them giving out free joyrides. It took a lot of behind the scenes talking between management to finally convince them to allow me to test drive one, because yes I was indeed considering purchasing one. I've heard from others that they were allowed to test drive a Stinger with no hassle and no pressure to buy within the next couple days, and no mention of that requirement whatsoever at other dealerships in the area. I'm not sure if it were because of my age, or if it were actual procedure. Nothing was presented in writing, so I cannot know for sure. With that aside, I would recommend Russ Darrow for the friendly environment and reliable service. If you want to test drive a vehicle, you might want to check out other Kia dealerships so you're not pressured into making a decision right away. Edit: One more knocked off for not listing emissions test hours, instead saying "Just stop in". You would then assume it's bound to the service area's hours (9am-5pm), but it's actually 9am-3pm.

    So we drove over 2 hrs to see a car at Russ Darrow Honda. I had called ahead and asked questions about it and made an appointment. When we got there we found out that the car we were gonna look at did not run an need tons of work. Needless to say not happy. We stopped at Russ Darrow Kia since we were in the area. Andrew met us outside took us right in and on a test drive. The car was great and he stayed super late so we could get it. And then worked really hard to get my payments where I was comfortable. I just wanna say thank you thank you thank you Andrew for turning a horrible experience into a great car!!!! I love it and it does have heated seats!!!!!

    I am so thrilled with Russ Darrow Kia! I went in this past Friday to test drive a vehicle, not expecting to buy anything. I've got credit issues I'm working through, and have been rejected without a cosigner at a few other dealerships. I know, I know, I'm working on it. So I test drive several cars, and my amazing salesperson Song listened to my story and told me he was confident they'd be able to find a lender willing to work with me, with a decent interest rate at that. I was skeptical,; I filled out the paperwork and waited for the call saying I was rejected (yet again) on Saturday. Much to my surprise, the call I got Saturday morning was POSITIVE. They approved my application and were able to find me an interest rate I can live with, *well* below the 29% (!!!!INSANE!!!!!) rate I've been offered at other dealerships who advertise working with "bad credit" buyers. Even better still, I was approved for the make/model I've been looking at for months! I'm just so thrilled with the whole process. I've been to other local dealerships who never seemed to actually want my business, but every person I met and worked with at Russ Darrow Kia was friendly, personable and polite. Song was the coolest salesperson I've ever worked with. I drove away without buyers remorse, in a car I absolutely love, payments I can afford, and a good feeling in the pit of my stomach. I've got a safe, reliable vehicle that blows the MPG of my last car out of the water, and the recurring payments will help boost my credit month after month. I will be back, and I'd recommend this dealership to anybody.

    Do Not Go Here or fall for their Lies!! They sold us a brand new sportage. Made promises and kept NONE! Gave us a SUV with deep scratches in it and said they would fix it, just to get us off the lot. Then when we called to make the appointment they act rude and annoyed with us because we expect them to fix it. Oh, they will buff it. NOT GOING TO HELP! We are filing a complaint with the better business bureau. Never so disappointed in a company in my life! They will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to buy:(

    I had an excellent sales person and experience here. My sales person William C. (Aka Wild Bill) was AMAZING. The used car manager and the rest of the team were very helpful and successful in helping me find he right vehicle. I traded in my car and got a very nice amount for it. With a lot of patience and time I now have a 2016 Kia Sorento. I am so happy and a satisfied customer. I recommend ANYONE to this dealership. They’re awesome.

    Just had a lovely experience yesterday buying my newest car. Buying cars always gives me a fair amount of anxiety. I’m never a fan of trying to be sold something I’m not interested in, or being haggled or hassled in anyway. It makes me uncomfortable, leaves a bad taste in my mouth and then I wind up wanting to go somewhere else. This experience was none of that. I was shown the exact cars I asked about, was met with respect and understanding, and experienced the best hospitality. Only had one snag that almost had me walking out of there, but it was met with sincere apologies and my issue resolved within minutes. Ken Teramura was the sales representative we worked with closely. He was amazing in every way. I’ve dealt with quite a few salesmen in the past that exemplified the unfortunately accurate stereotype that many salesmen get. And as a young woman with relatively low knowledge of cars, I very often feel like prey. Not with Ken. He was kind, compassionate, listened to our needs and wants and delivered. He is very obviously a wonderful person, and I highly recommend him if you are also a person with car purchasing anxiety.

    Jacob was friendly and informative, and patient when I changed my mind about the services I wanted. The driver of the shuttle was very nice, and drive safely. I purchased my car at a different dealership and have had all service performed there, but became disenchanted with them so I decided to try Russ Darrow. And I am not disappointed....and...and...wonder of wonders the service department at Russ Darrow Kia figured out what is wrong with my sunroof and have ordered the parts!!!! I could not be happier at this time. Fingers crossed it is permanent fix!

    I had a great experience at Russ Darrow Kia of Waukesha. I worked with Wally. He was very kind and helpful. The process was nearly flawless. One thing I didn't like was the fact that when I drove the car off the lot, it had less than a quarter tank of gas. It's always a nice gesture when the dealership sends you on your way with a full tank I think. Regardless, Wally and the team deserve 5 stars!

Found a car there that I was been interested in, and after test driving, Greg was very helpful in trying to get me a great deal. Ended up leaving with a new car and couldn’t be happier.     I found the car online for a good price. I came into look at it and bought it that night. The salesperson was inexperienced and didn’t know a lot. I was told I “Was approved “ for the bumper to bumper warranty. Ok, not knowing, I thought it came with the car. Sitting down with the finance guy it came to $2700. If the car didn’t have so much on it that could go wrong, he’d have been re-writing the contract. I feel that they should have filled the gas tank and didn’t realize they didn’t until I pulled away. I had brought my own license plate to put on the car and my husband must have lifted it off the desk 15 times before the salesperson finally got the hint that she needed to put it on the car. The thing that aggravated me the most was that I texted the salesperson the next day to find out why my Sirius XM free trial wasn’t on the car and didn’t get an answer until 2 days later. Ok, Sunday they were closed. She said she would check. Never mind, I already called that morning and got it added myself. Learn how to deliver a car properly, don’t snowball me with added costs that aren’t disclosed upfront, and when you text to thank me and I ask a question, the sale isn’t over, answer my text. Not stellar service although they thought it was. I didn’t complain that night, nothing would have come of it anyway. I just wait for the survey....I know it’s been a rough time for all with this virus looming, but they need to step up their game. A little too lax for my taste. I had been looking for that car for 3 weeks, and the car itself is beautiful! I bought a car from this dealership years ago (10 years) and waited almost an hour to pay cash! It was only $5k, but IT WAS CASH. You forget a lot in 10 years. This experience wasn’t as terrible as it was back then; they just need to throw in some training and more disclosure.

    We initially had a positive experience while car-shopping at Russ Darrow Kia in Waukesha. Our salesperson was able to locate the vehicle we were looking for, and we worked with him and a sales manager to come to a reasonable offer that we agreed to. A few days later, we were in communication with our salesperson, explaining that we would be arriving around 4 pm that day to take care of the financing. He said that time worked well for him. Upon arrival, our salesperson was nowhere to be found. We didn’t think much of it at first, thinking he was probably on a break and would be back soon. We informed another person working on the floor that we were waiting for this particular salesperson, and were told he wasn’t there at all. So we asked to speak to the sales manager, who we could see was behind the Customer Service desk – and who we had also been in communication with via email. We waited 20 minutes, as the other employee on the floor brought us paperwork for our credit pull and financing. We noticed, at that time, that the vehicle they pulled up was NOT the car we had test-driven. We had driven a silver car, and the one brought up was black. We were fine with another color, but we realized that this black car did not have the same features as the one we had test-driven, and we tried to explain that this was NOT the car we wanted. They kept pressuring us, saying the car’s ID number matched what was on the original offer they had printed for us. While this was true, we kept explaining that the offer must have been written up for the wrong vehicle – because we had never looked at a black vehicle or agreed to an offer on any other vehicle, other than the silver one we had test-driven. Finally, we asked where our original salesperson was, because he would know which vehicle we had driven, and would be the only person who could clear up this misunderstanding. The sales manager finally came over when we asked, again, to speak with him. He notified us that our original salesperson was on administrative leave from the company while he was being investigated for potentially committing tax fraud. We were shocked, especially because the salesperson had texted us just two hours prior, saying he would be there to meet us. We explained to the sales manager that our original salesperson had written the offer up for the wrong vehicle, and were told that there was nothing to be done for us. They couldn’t offer us any vehicles comparable to the original silver one we had driven for our price range, and the sales manager made no efforts to amend any of this unfortunate situation. Not only that, but we had already put a down payment of several thousand dollars on the vehicle, which we found out was actually for the black vehicle we had never seen before. Since the check was already cashed, we were told we would need to wait up to 5 days to receive a refund check – and that we would have to come pick it up. This was by far the most unprofessional car-shopping experience we have ever had. Based on the situation and the fact there were no efforts on the dealership’s part to remedy what had been done, we cannot recommend Russ Darrow Kia of Waukesha. Edited on 1/22/20 to add: A week ago, I left a message for the General Manager and never received a response. My husband was able to get in touch with the financial manager, who said that our refund check is "in process" but there was no definitive date when we could expect to receive it. We are now going on almost 2 weeks, and still haven't received the check that they owe us. We were originally promised the check by last Wednesday the 15th ("at the latest") and here we are, on the 22nd with no word from anyone.

    I wanted to take a moment to inform you of my recent experience with Russ Darrow of Waukesha. On Monday, December 10, 2018 I bought a 2015 Hyundai Sonata from Russ Darrow of Waukesha. I came with my mother, so I would be able to drive my new car home. At one point during the evening, my mother and I were in the office with who I can only assume was the finance rep; I did not have a pleasant experience. As we were going through paper work and signing documents, he asked me if I wanted to purchase additional warranties, to which I replied “No”. He kept asking me to the point where it became aggressive. I do recognize that it is part of the reps job description to ask, but I firmly believe he took this too far. After the first no, he moved on and then came back to the question again. He did this repeatedly, to which I answered no repeatedly. Finally, after ignoring my “NO” response, my mother said firmly, “She said NO.” Instead of understanding his customer, and moving forward with our conversation, he responded with “So are you going to pay for daughter’s car repairs if something were to happen?” At that point, I was insulted, and I could tell my mother was upset. This question was completely inappropriate, and my mother told him that. The rep then argued with her that it wasn’t inappropriate and was a valid question. I am 32 years old and financially independent. My mother was simply there because I needed to be able to drive my new car home. The financing/loan is in my name. I gave Russ Darrow of Waukesha $15,000 for a car, and this is how I am being treated? I felt very degraded and judged. Why would my mother have to pay for MY car repairs, and to be asked that is very unprofessional, especially after blatantly saying “NO” several times. To really add insult to injury, when I got in my new vehicle, there was less than a quarter tank of gas in the car. If I didn’t love the car, I would have absolutely taken my business elsewhere. I would not recommend Russ Darrow of Waukesha to any friends or family if this is the standard they operate with. Also, the check I brought with from my credit union was $75 more than it needed to be because you guys thought I was buying new plates when I clearly told Kenny Crump that no, I am transferring plates. So the fiance person told me that Russ Darrow would have to just cut me a check back for $75 but gave me no time frame as to when I can expect that. I would like to know what date you guys will be mailing a check for the over payment.

    This was my first dealership oil change experience. I made an appointment for my oil change and still somehow ended up waiting nearly two hours for it to be complete. I don't know if that's typical, but it's something to be wary of. The customer service was amazing, though...I felt like the rep that I spoke with was very knowledgeable and willing to be transparent about my car's condition.

    I consider Russ Darrow Kia to be extremely crooked. They damaged my wife's vehicle during an oil change by not properly removing the engine splash guard - this piece then came loose and dragged on the ground. The service manager said this was due to the holes being "loose". They never advised of any damage during the oil change inspection - and refused to replace the splash guard. Take your vehicle to a reputable mechanic for maintenance. DO NOT take something you spent your hard earned money on to Russ Darrow KIA - unless you would like to part ways with your money. Update: Went under the vehicle and found that the damaged piece was reinstalled by the dealer with self tapping screws. Thanks for the new holes in my car Russ Darrow Kia! What a bunch of hacks.

    I took my Kia in for a factory recall yesterday. They did the normal checks of the vehicle and told me I needed 4 additional things done. I expected that and agreed to have them do one of the four. They did the factory update and the service that I agreed to. Everything was good until I picked the vehicle up and went to pay for the service. I gave the cashier my credit card and he informed me that there would be an additional 3.5% charged because I was using a credit card. I asked why that was and he referred me to a sign on the door. Apparently they are experiencing additional cost on credit cards and are passing this on to the customer. What store that you go to does this? It would have been nice if they had informed me of this charge before I came to pay. I could not go to the bank to get cash without my car. If you use credit cards, you can plan on paying an extra 3.5% for the service. Very deceptive IMO.

    Sorry for miscommunication Robb, we certainly arnt trying to decieve anyone. There are multiple signs at every service desk and at the cashier window as the cashier had pointed out. This has been our policy for a while now .Rest assured these fees are exactly what the credit card companies charge us to use thier cards, not unlike many buisneses you see cash or credit and different pricing. There is no fee when using a debit or check card, and obviously cash. Sorry for confusion.

    I lost one of my keys for my car, I called Russ Darrow, they ordered a new key for me. I made an appointment to come in and have it programmed. I wasn't there for maybe 15 minutes and they came to tell me it was all done. I was amazed! Plus they washed my car! We bought both our Kia's at Russ Darrow, and have always had excellent service!     Under normal circumstances (not during "pandemic") I'm sure things would have been better as far as having a loaner/rental available and parts not taking as long to arrive, but the reason for the low rating is for the lack of communication from dealership/service team. I was always the one calling to find out any updates. Even though they said they would call me they never did. I was always the one calling them. Also was disappointed that once I picked up my vehicle that they had for a month. They didn't even give it a wash. Expected the courtesy of at least a wash after having me car for so long.

    My 2011 Kia Soul has a few miles on it, so wanted a tire rotation plus multi-point inspection to make sure everything was OK :) Made an appointment last night for this morning, so A-plus on availability for starters! Chuck was my service tech and couldn't have been nicer. This Kia service shop records a VIDEO of your car as they run through the checkpoints, and they text it to you while you wait! Very impressed. I felt like they were super straightforward and honest, relaying all that was fine and not in need of repair or maintenance, but recommending 2 services based on what they found that seem totally reasonable to me based on my high mileage (transmission flush and fuel injection cleaning). Pricing seems good, too, and I was able to use an online coupon from their dealer website for the tire rotation today. They also washed my car, which I LOVE that Kia does. I left with peace of mind that the underbody of the car was in good shape, since they inspected suspension and steering, along with everything else. Everyone here was very kind and professional. Definitely recommend!

    I recently had bought a car from a smaller dealership and after numerous repairs and being broken down on the side of the road, I was starting from scratch with a small budget. Russ Darrow didn’t have anything in my price range when I first stopped, but took my information. They called me within 20 minutes of leaving saying they would be willing to help me out on a car they received as a trade. The fact that they went above and beyond put my faith back in dealerships. They said, “ When you make it big, always remember the little people.” My budget was little, but they worked big to help me. Will 100% go there for my next car!

    Shady business. I was about to buy a car and I confirmed with the manager that they would hold the car until after the weekend when I would be able to get the check from the bank as long as the bank called them to confirm that I was approved for the loan. I called my bank twice to make sure they let the dealership know I was approved, and the next day the dealership went behind my back and sold the car. Like pretty much every dealership you are their last concern, profit always comes first above the customer but to lie to your customer and go and sell the car behind their back is just incredibly low. I would never recommend anyone to Kia of Waukesha after this, ever. Response/Update: Brandon, yes, they held the car for 48 hours, that's what the $500 down deposit was for. When the bank told me I would be getting the check after the weekend I called and talked to a manager named John. John told me if I had my bank contact the dealership to tell them I was approved for the loan they would hold it until I received the check, and then the next day the dealership sold it. So no, this was not communicated to me. I attempted to call you but never got through and you never returned my call. Again, very disappointed with the customer care at Kia of Waukesha.

    This was the smoothest car purchase I have ever experienced. They worked out the numbers over phone and email, and there were no negative surprises when I went to see the car.     I have mixed feelings about my experience with Russ Darrow Kia. Overall Nick was good to work with. He is relatively new to the company within the last year, so he was friendly and has followed up with me to make sure I am still happy with my purchase. He wasn't pushy during the buying process which is a nice change of pace and easy to have a conversation with. A couple things frustrated me though. We went in on a Friday and test drove a used Honda CRV. I know they are a Kia dealership, but unfortunately they didn't know much about the vehicle (luckily I had done my research about the vehicles features). And when we were test driving, the car only had 3 miles left till empty, so we did have to stop and fill up during the test drive (obviously not a deal breaker but more so an annoyance). Ended up getting kind of late that night so we opted to shop around the next day. Saturday around 2pm we stopped back into the dealership to see the car in daylight and talk about pricing, trading in my old car, etc. From that moment to the time we walked out the door, it took about 5 hours to process my trade in, get paperwork signed, do financing, get the car cleaned up,etc. Throughout the waiting process, we were ensured it would only be another 15 minutes each time they checked in (would have preferred if they just said that it would be a couple hours so we could have went and got food and came back). We also did catch a couple of things on the financing paperwork at both time of offer and time of signing, that were different then what was agreed upon verbally. Took my new car home Saturday night, and on Sunday I decided to spend some time and take a look at my new car. During that time I found that both the front and rear windshield wipers had the rubber portion missing or mostly missing, and that I was missing a lug nut on my front tire (so I am slightly upset that I then had to drive to Advanced Auto and replace those after only owning my new car for less than 24 hours). The car is supposed to have gone through an inspection, so I am slightly nervous about what else they may have missed. Nick said he would make it up to me in some way once he speaks with his manager, which I appreciate. Overall I am happy with my new car, and purchasing with Nick as my salesperson was good, however I'm not sure I will purchase a vehicle from Russ Darrow Kia in the future.

The salesman said “now I can’t leave a mom with 4 kids stranded,” but the next day the car didn’t start. I’ve sense spent thousands of dollars on the car in the week that I’ve had it. My mechanic said it is in horrible shape, and they’re sleezy for selling me that horrible car. Don’t recommend.

    Update 3/25/2021: Just got back from taking my 2021 Kia Forte to Lupient Kia in Glendale. We were told by Russ Darrow Waukesha service that the cvt transmission issue we were having is normal. No it is not, we have to get a new transmission. Beware!! This is based on service not sales. I called Tuesday March 16th to order a drivers side mirror replacement, and schedule installation Monday March 22nd, came in for appointment to find out the mirror was never ordered. I still got my oil change and a diagnostic scan done, with a 9 am appointment, I called service at 1:45 pm letting them know I needed to have the vehicle to a body shop by 3 pm, they told me it would be done by 2:30 pm, got there at 2:30 and they were just plugging it in for diagnostic at that time. I did not leave the dealership until after 3 pm. This is extremely frustrating because what is the point of scheduling an appointment, if they don’t start working on the vehicle until over 5 hours after the appointment time. The mirror is finally ordered but I will be getting it installed elsewhere.

    Almost drove over an hour to view a car that had already been sold. We had scheduled an appointment for a listing found on cars.com, but were given no call/email indicating that the vehicle had been sold since scheduling the appointment. We were lucky to have checked the posting right before we left, otherwise we wouldn't have known that the vehicle was gone. Initially, when I sent a message about the car, they got back to me in 15 min. I was very excited and they seemed very helpful and responsive. Who knows if this car even existed, it almost seemed too good to be true...

    Horrible service experience. This is the second time after having an oil change it leaks all over my driveway because the tech didn't tighten the drain plug and the time before that they didnt tighten the skid plate which just about ripped off my vehicle while driving to work. Beyond disappointing!!!

    I purchased a used car and I live 9 hours from the dealership so I was a bit worried traveling to purchase a car I hadn’t seen before. The sales staff along with Gus the manager were extremely helpful with describing the car, taking pictures and explaining any flaws on the car that they knew of. When I arrived and inspected the car, it was exactly how they described it. They knew I was flying in and driving back home in the same day so they had all the paperwork ready for me. I was in and out within an hour and was on my way back home with a new used car. It was a very good buying experience.

    Excellent experience from the moment I exited my car, Yes, I was greeted by a salesperson, but at no time was our interaction pushy of overwhelming in any way. I explained what I was looking for, we walked the lot until we found a vehicle I was interested in. Then, and only then did he ask for my license when he went to get the keys and he returned with my license. The test drive was perfect. He let me go where I wanted and let me drive how I wanted to. Upon returning we discussed a deal, he brought in his manager and in a matter of minutes reached a mutually acceptable transaction. To top it all off the finance guy did not hard sell me any additional services. He just offered them as I'm sure he is required to do, but took no offense when I said no thank you. I highly recommend these guys.

    I was so happy I went there cuz I didn’t know there would be a video inspection of my whole car from top to bottom even my accidental dents lol 🤣 I only came for oil change / check fluids & fix a burnt out fog light!     I came in for an oil change and car wash and I left within the hour estimate, give or take a couple minutes. I felt like my car was thoroughly taken care of and I appreciated that Jonathan went over with me what they assess, prior to taking my car.     Great place to lease a new car. Just got my second leased car from Russ Darrow Kia and it was overall a good experience. I don't really enjoy car shopping, but this is about the best experience I could've asked for. I was able to drive my new car home just a couple of hours after I test drove it. Both the finance guy and my salesperson stayed late to make that happen. I didn't feel pressured to get any of the "extras". I will definitely come back when I need to turn this car in.

    I originally gave them 5 stars. The service was great and the employees were very respectful. However, This last 2 years the customer service has been terrible and I don’t feel they are taking good care of my vehicle any more. When I get my new car this year I don’t plan on buying another Kia and nothing from this dealership ever again. Someone else posted an issue with them manipulating the purchase price so they raised the price of the car on paper then put the extra discount they were offering afterwards along with the trade in amount. They did the same thing to me when I purchased my vehicle from them. So I’m paying an extra few thousand dollars then I was supposed to be paying.

    Every time I deal with the service department I get worse service than I did the time before. Today I was there for almost 2 hours waiting on my car to get serviced. No one kept me updated on my car status. Long story short I don't think I have ever had such bad service before. I have never felt so disappointed and disrespected (I have never been talked down to by any person in any company before like I did today) before with any type of service from anywhere. With that being said this will be my last time I will ever shop and purchase a car from this company!!! Such bad service.

    I was greeted with a smile, Desmond who was one of the service advisors acknowledged me right away. He was very friendly and courteous. My car was written up and my paperwork was done quickly. When my vehicle was done , they washed it, and my keys and paperwork were brought to the cashier. Very good service.

    Great service! Desmond got my vehicle in, the technician troubleshot the suspension and came back with a solution to resolve my vehicles problem. I gave the go ahead, the repairs were done on time and budget. I am very satisfied with their work and would give a rating of AAA+. When I need service again, I will be coming back to Darrow!

    I would not recommend this place. First time working with them and I got a bad experience !! Two days before my car scheduled appointment, they bumped up the price on the car that I had already applied for and was approved for it . When I noticed that the price went up on their website, I called them about it and Erica ( the person I been talking and working with for the car ), told me that her manager said that the price will no longer be the same price for me because I missed my chance . But, “how did I miss the chance when my appointment wasn’t Even until in 2 days!” They also mentioned that one of “my” relative went to look at the car and didn’t take the offer, that is why they bumped up the price . Well, That SHOULDN’T even pertain to me at all! When I was not there myself and I don’t even know who this “relative” is. Wasted so much of my time.

    I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. The experience I had there was actually pretty good. I came in with a bad attitude, however. I bought a car with squeaky brakes from ANOTHER Russ Darrow only three weeks prior and was looking to get them fixed. After speaking with the manager, he made a call up to the Russ Darrow I bought it from and pulled a few strings to have my car looked at free of charge down here. While my car was being serviced, I was shuttled to and from work, and came back to a car that had been fixed. No more squeaky brakes and no charge. Got to love both of those things! Regardless of these reviews, the people I dealt with at the dealership were great. Craig Brown the service advisor and the manager were both very helpful. Thank you!

    This was the first and ONLY time I will be going to this location in Waukesha. I took my car in to get a mileage service and from the start, it wasn't a good experience. I booked online for the service I needed and when I told the person why I was there, they said they do not do that service at that price and wanted to charge me triple what I had booked. After arguing, the assistant service manager came over and honored the rate. I got a call later that day saying my front and rear brakes needed to be replaced at about $200 each so I said ok, thinking that this would make me safe having new breaks as suggested by the service guys. Was I wrong! About 5 minutes after I picked up my car and got on the high way, my car was making very strange popping and grinding noises. While I am no car expert at all, I called in to be safe to make sure I shouldn't turn back. I was assured by the assistant service manager that this was what new breaks were supposed to sound like as they needed to have a "seeding period" and break in, and the sounds would go away as I drove...this was Friday afternoon. Well I drove and drove all weekend and the sounds did not go away...or even get any better. On Sunday, while driving my breaks locked up and I almost got into an accident while driving down the road. I ended up having to wait about 2 hours for a tow to my apartment and wait until Monday morning to call as Sundays they are closed. Once the tow guy moves my car even an inch, he gets out and says "I know EXACTLY was is wrong with your car...the breaks aren't on right!" At this point, I am furious! I spent about $400 for new breaks and could have been seriously injured even though I was told everything was fine! Monday morning, and missing a half day at work, the car was towed into the dealership and I explained, very annoyed, what happened. I was told "sorry" and "it will be fixed". After picking it up, just another "sorry" and nothing else. No money given back, no manager speaking to me about it, just "sorry". After being disrespected and almost injured from coming to this place I left with seemingly fixed breaks. Again, driving down the highway to get home, I see my hood is open. Wow. Now I need to stop on the side of the highway to close my hood so it doesn't fly open while I am driving. Great service...

    Won’t Be Doing Any Business Here! We needed a replacement car after ours was totaled in an accident and we didn’t have a lot of time to shop. Hubby found a white Kia Sorento with all the bells and whistles here and deemed it his #1 choice. After sharing his price point with the salesperson, she spoke with her manager and assured my husband they could make it happen. An appointment was set up for Saturday. The night before, I had some free time and suggested we stop there so I could see it. We took a road test, liked it, decided we’d buy it. Well, suddenly that deal with the manager didn’t exist anymore, but they’d be happy to show us other vehicles in our budget. No, hubby responded, that wouldn’t be acceptable. They wouldn’t budge so we took our business elsewhere. They lost a sure chunk of cash for the sake of a small amount. Maybe it was because we were car shopping on Friday the 13th, but I doubt it!

    I am super disappointed with the car I purchased on March 5, 2019. I don't even know where to start. This car had a check engine light on when I bought it. I understood that and fixed the two parts it needed (first time in the shop). A few days later the power steering went out. I fixed it. Then a few days after that my daughter couldn't back up and the check engine came back on, the car said "reduced engine power" and "service esc". The car went to the shop for the second time. The extended warranty company did not want to fix the problems the car had. They said that my mechanic did not show bad parts to replace. They sent out an adjuster who came and shined a flashlight on the engine, saying nothing was bad in the engine ( was he supposed to take the whole engine apart and void the supposed warranty?) All the labor was supposed to fall on me since nothing would be covered. So basically the the brochure I was given did not cover anything that it said it would. I bought an extended warranty for the car and it was just a waste of money. I paid out of my pocket to get a repair fixed that should have been covered. The car was fixed long enough to pass emissions and two days later the check engine light came on and the same messages appeared on the dashboard. I took it back to the shop and the when I called the warranty place the man said " good it's back in the shop". Since we didn't get much rain until lately, I just saw there is a leak from the driver side. The whole carpet is soaked and smells like dirty feet, not to mention there is mold forming on the carpet. This car was driven maybe 300 miles since purchased (short distances and never on the freeway). I do understand this is a used car but I didn't expect to not be able to drive this car. It was purchased for my daughter to get to school and work safely and it just sits parked in my parking spot. I am stuck paying for 3 years and a high insurance payment every month since it is a requirement. I think I would've been better off buying a cheap car from the streets. Buyer beware. Don't let the salesman talk you into purchasing a car you didn't do your homework on. Just because it is a "used car" doesn't mean you need to settle for all these problems like I am.

    I was interested in a telluride that wasn’t even on the lot yet, willing to pay sticker price. They marked it up $4,995 and then a week later tried $5,995, WITH $4,000 additional insurance and $2,000 interior and exterior coating/insurance. I asked if I could do without and they said NO! I was floored! They tried to pull the wool over eyes and I was laughing inside. This was the most crooked crew I have ever dealt with. Now this car I was looking at will sit on their lot u til a sucker comes along. Look elsewhere, you will be happy you did

    I have always heard good things about Russ Darrow but they have really outdone themselves for me! Normally when a woman walks into a dealership by herself people try to take advantage but I felt so comfortable! There was no pressure and i felt like i had great service especially that i was by myself! I traded in a vehicle and they gave me beyond more than what I was expecting, worked with my hard credit situation, and lack of money to put down. My salesman, Dennis, got me into a 2015 Kia Forte which is a vehicle I did not even consider! I have never been happier with a vehicle!!! The style of the vehicle is sleek and buff, the inside is really designed with the driver in mind. I love that the dash is curved towards me, the Bluetooth hands free calling, radio controls and cruise control that is on the steering wheel! I got an amazing price, met some amazing men, and got into a vehicle that I hands down love! Thank you very much to Dennis, Brandon, and Sony for everything you have done for me!!!! I have recommended all three of you to numerous friends and family!

    Originally I left a 5 star review on another site but after I reviewed my contract in the mail I realized I was swindled out of my trade in on my jeep. I take full responsibility for not paying closer attention to the details but the are pretty good at making all look good. I was told a asking price for the Jeep, I recieved a trade in value on my car. They basically added my trade in value to the asking price of the jeep then deducted it off the inflated price to look like I was getting a good deal. So all in all they got my car for free. Shame on me but what a shady thing to do. So my new review is watch yourself and pay attention to the details. They will find a way to make as much off you as possible and with no shame.

    They gave me great service for my Kia and David in the service department save me extra money on the parts....thanks I had no heat In my Dodge Nitro and in this cold weather that’s hard to drive around like that, and they did a diagnostics and found that it will cost quite a bit to replaced the heating core well that was a bit out of my budget but Jacob and their wonderful service department found a way to make it work and to made me warm again and for that I’m very grateful. Much thanks to the great service department at Russ Darrow I had a small issue with my car radio but once again Russ Darrow service department took great care of me Thanks guys.

    Buying a car can be a very stressful process and I have had bad experiences in the past. Russ Darrow Kia was excellent and made car buying fun, the way it should be! My salesman was very receptive to what my needs and wants were and I did not feel pressured at all! It was a great experience and I highly recommend them for both new and used car needs! I personally worked with Dennis and I will be going to him from now for all of my future car needs/purchases. He was amazing, very knowledgeable about his cars and others on the market.
