Fantastic!! This is the third loan I've worked on with Tim Huie (two new mortgages and a refinance in the middle) and he's always been very honest and upfront with my options, presenting all of the relevant information to help me make the best possible decisions. He's quick to respond when I reach out, and when he tells me he's going to do something, I know he's a man of his word and will follow through. Both my realtor and title company also commented on how seamless and easy Tim made this process for them as well, even when there were some hiccups with the seller on my last house purchase that closed yesterday. I will absolutely continue working with Tim in the future!

So in the beginning of all this I was pretty skeptical from the jump.. just because I knew where I stood with my credit being destroyed from a nasty previous marriage and divorce … I knew I’d never be able to purchase a home again in my mind. Some people would say by chance (a blessing to us) I was put in contact with Mr Richard. The first time we spoke after our call I felt as if I actually had a small chance of owning of my own home again but still knew better. Until Mr Richard provided us with a pre approval letter to start the build on our house! I still couldn’t really believe it because that’s just pre approval and at the end of the day the builder can sell that house to whoever should things not work out. For 8 months I never fully put my trust into Mr Richard like he said from day 1 and I can’t apologize to him enough for that. He said “I got you” , “you’re good”, “it’s gonna work out”, even times he told me “you’ve got to trust me and out a little more faith in me”. I’ve never regretted something so much as I do not believing in him because I thought I knew better. We closed on our house 6-8-22 in our favor on our brand new home and the first thing I did afterward was call Mr Richard and apologize from the depths of my soul for not giving him what he asked for … and that was my full trust, and my full faith. Not because of anything he did or didn’t do… I just didn’t have the faith in myself and he proved me WRONG! I tell you my story to say this…. When he tells you something .. he is not going to sugarcoat but be as honest and truthful with you as possible and he will guide you and direct you and help you and do whatever it takes to PROVE himself. He did. He showed up and showed out for us and for that I will be forever grateful for this man. I could thank him and shake his hand 1000 times over and still not be able to the gratitude I have for this man. Do yourself a favor and listen if he says trust him .. he will tell you if you don’t have what it takes or is not gonna work… save yourself from what I put myself through if he says he’s got you!

Once we got a contract on our new home everything moved quickly, transparent and easy. My husband loved the videos about steps in the process and found them so useful to walk him through the steps! Very efficient in moving the ball along. The Novus team has constant communication throughout the loan process. Frequent email updates, as well as access to a personal web portal to see status and upload documents. My personal highlight is being able to talk to Joe whenever necessary; he picks up the phone or calls you right back. The is the second loan Joe has helped me with, and the experience has been great both times.
