I recently refinanced my home with RP Funding and the experience could not have been more professional and expedient. Exactly like the advertisements say, I paid no closing costs and they were not added back into my loan either like nearly every other lender in the market does. I have excellent credit and could have gone to any lender of my choosing but RP Funding offered the most competitive rates and programs to fit my needs. Each and every member of the RP Funding team that I worked with were very professional, made sure I understood the process and treated me like a customer not just another refi to chalk up on the books. I highly recommend RP Funding for any one purchasing or refinancing their home.

RP Funding is the easiest company to deal with, ever. We get our money this Monday and this is the fourth time refinancing with them (yes it was worth my while every time Not just for cash out but lowering interest rates) I tell everybody. . My son is in the process of refinancing now. Follow their instructions and it’s a breeze. I had very little paid for by RP this time and there are always costs out-of-pocket besides prepays but they are great to work with.

I was looking to convert my FHA mortgage to conventional to eliminate the PMI insurance so out of curiosity I filled out an online request to RP Funding. Jeffrey contacted me the next morning and explained all of my options and then emailed those options to me for my review. They also explain how they are able to pay the closing costs on a refinance, which is no gimmick! I am now able to eliminate the PMI insurance and take advantage of a reduced interest rate. My team has been very responsive to my questions and the whole process has moved along very quickly. Ivan even offered to have a Saturday closing so that it does not interfere with my work schedule. Here what I loved about RP Funding, Everything the experience was flawless, the individuals / service was outstanding. I've just completed my second mortgage with RP Funding. I really can't imagine why anyone would ever use any other company. My application was done over the phone, I submitted a couple verification documents, they sent the notary for closing to my house at my convenience AND they paid the closing costs. Honestly....why would you ever use any other company when all the other companies tack 10k back onto your loan for closing costs? Ask for Hazem if you need a mortgage or refi. He has seriously made these last two loans completely hassle free.

Very happy with RPFunding. I was first hesitant, but I certainly have no reservations now. I had previously only used my local credit union for multiple re/financing, etc. RP was by far a much better experience and saved me a lot more money. The local CU estimated my total loan to be the payoff plus $10-15K. With RP, it was just the actual payoff. RP did what they said they would do - I had no closing costs, no crazy fees, and those items weren't added back to the loan. I signed the closing docs at my house. A much better experience overall. RP was also much faster than my local CU; the CU said the appraisal could take months, but RP took about a week. I told my CU I was going with RP and they said "look out for the extra fees". However, the CU was the one with the extra fees, not RP. I can't say enough about my experience with RP compared to my local CU. RP was fast, very responsive, helpful at every turn. They were awesome. RP was the only place I could find who would actually pay the closing costs and not have the fees that all these other places had. I also called other CU's/banks, and the popular rocket mortgages/quicken loans, etc. Those places were too pushy IMO, "I'm giving you this awesome rate now, now, now, you have to do it now or my boss won't let me keep this awesome rate for you if you don't do it now, now, now!" They may have showed a "lower rate", but my monthly payment was higher for the same term b/c the fees were so much. RP did a great job of explaining how the process works. I've very grateful for them and very happy I chose them. I would definitely recommend RP.

Very easy process to refinance with RP Funding. Joey Marmo was very helpful and explained the whole process to me very plainly. Was an excellent resource for questions. Jammie was also very flexible when my location had to be changed at the last minute due to a family emergency in another state.

Our refinance of our property has been a very good experience with RP Funding. All the people I have had contact with from the top down have been excellent. My only negative at all is that you need to make sure that you request that they use a "Residential Appraiser" and not a "General Appraiser" when they have your house appraised.

Everyone dreads the impersonal, file cabinet digging, time consuming process that is the refinancing of your home. But that was not true with RP Funding. Not only did RP Funding save us money by paying for our closing costs, they did a lot of things behind the scenes that kept the paper shuffling at a minimum. We were very happy with our experience.

Can't say enough good things about RPFunding. Every level of this organization demonstrates the highest levels of integrity. While you might find other lenders who will cut corners to save a buck or two, it will cost you more in the long run. The closing process is smooth but the actual loan servicing with RPFunding is lacking. My mother currently has an issue where RPFunding paid her car insurance from her escrow account because she has a multi-coverage policy - even after resolving her issue and refunding the money back to her escrow account over 6 months ago, her mortgage payment is still incorrect due the RPFundings error. 5 calls to customer service - total nightmare.

My momd house is on a reverse mortgage.my dad borrowed little but after 15 years or so that amout grew to close to 140,000. This is the second time I used RP Funding. The first time I went with them was to buy/finance a home. So, I used one of their realtors (Sheena) through Listed.com to find the home. Sheena was more than patient with me throughout the process. During the financing process, I used RP Funding and Lydia was amazing as well through the entire process. As a matter of fact, the entire team was great. So, when it came time to refinance my mortgage (2 years later), I decided to do my due diligence and compare my current mortgage company (yes, RP Funding did pass my mortgage on but they were great) to one of the big tech mortgage companies and RP Funding (yes, of course, I called Lydia directly). The big tech mortgage companies Rocket never took off and my current mortgage company couldn't match RP Funding's deal and was especially slow as we worked through the process. The speed of the process (slow and inefficient) was what really got me, considering I was their current client - how is that even possible to be slower than an outside company. Lydia, was quick to follow up, thorough when she did, and was incredibly patient with all of my questions. Rosa G (awesome), Ivan, and the rest of the team were also great throughout the process. The whole process started on 7/16/21 and closed on 7/30/21 - and it could have been quicker if my schedule permitted. I started out wanting to go the least expensive route, and I achieved that with RP Funding, but I also had an unexpectedly quick and painless time with them.

Over the past 5 years I have completed a total of 4 initial mortgages and refinances for investment property as well as my primary residence. I have been waiting 5 1/2 weeks for a $1300.00 escrow overage refund. Made 4 calls to customer service and sent an email that was routed to a 3rd party customer service robot that replied with a cookie cutter response about waiting 15 working days to get a refund? RP Funding makes refinancing incredibly easy! We closed in about 3 weeks from the time I spoke with a loan consultant. The closing process was also super simple… a notary came to our house and we were done in 30 minutes.

We got our pre-approval within an hour of talking with a loan officer. He told us within a couple of days we would hear from realtor to get us out there looking at some houses and it took less then 24 hours! This market was the toughest ever to find the right home but the realtor stuck with us even when he was on vacation!! There is a whole team of people that check in with you and are there for you! And it is all true we paid no closing costs and they don’t drown you in supplying paperwork just because!! This company was awesome and we love our new home!! All these reviews are fake. I received a quote from them and what they do is give you a really high rate then give you a credit. I compared my rate to other lenders and I was paying significantly more in finance charged with RP funding. Stay away!

BUYER BEWARE!!! RP Funding was this close to ripping me off. Thankfully I had my sister who used to be a Bank Manager. I called RP Finance to refinance on my house and consolidate a loan together. I only have less than $100,000 to pay off. Thank goodness I gave myself time to think about moving forward. After running the numbers they offered me, RP Funding was about to rob me $427,000 to refinance on a $100,000 mortgage. PLEASE RUN THE NUMBERS FIRST BEFORE SIGNING OFF ON ANYTHING! SLEEP ON IT FIRST! Of course they claim to pay closing costs, because they’ll be using your own money to pay off your closing costs in the back-end! Please financially educate yourself. You guys should really be ashamed of yourself!

With rates so low and housing values on the rise, decided to take advantage of the market and refinance our mortgage. After shopping around, I finally decided on RP Funding for our new mortgage due to a few reasons but mainly because they paid all the closing costs! I did have to pay for the appraisal and a fee associated with my Solar loan but I got that money back at closing. The entire process was easy, efficient and seamless. The process is mostly over the phone and thru their online, secure portals. At closing, an agent comes to your home or place of choosing to sign the documents. One thing that I kind of didn't care for is that my first payment had to be by mailing in a check as the online payments thru RP Funding are not active until your second payment. Overall I am very happy with the rates and results of refinancing with RP Funding and highly recommend them for your new mortgage.

In December, 2020, for a second time, we refinanced our home mortgage with RP Funding. Their processing of our application was simple and handled in a timely manner. She set up an appointment for an appraiser to come and perform an updated appraisal of our home and land. If we had any questions, a simple e-mail to her was answered with a quick response. Do not even think for a second those five star reviews are for real! This company is about as competent as my 36 year old parrot! He doesn’t respond when you want him to, he’s messy, and you have to clean up his mess. I have been dealing with two different loan officers on a refinance due to neither of them knowing exactly what or how to complete the process. We are in week 3 and the appraisal has yet to be completed! That usually takes all of 5-7 days after the completion of an application approval.

I'm in the process of refinancing with RP right now. It's been almost a month since I applied and I've still not heard from anyone aside from the Loan Officer/Mortgage Consultant. And getting ahold of him is near impossible! 5+ days to respond to an email or return a phone call. It's not worth saving the extra money to deal with this horrific customer service. As a mortgage underwriter myself, I can complete a simple refinance in less than a week. Where I'm at now, RP is going to take 2 months of my time and hopefully I'll be able to close after that. I've signed an install contract with a flooring company (I'm refinancing for cash to re-do my floors), and if the install is not complete by next Friday (02/19) at the absolute latest, my contract expires. They will cancel my contract and keep my $3000+ deposit. I will never do business with RP again.

Had mortgage with rp and refinanced. Well closed on refinance and low and behold they not only charged me the pre interest for a month and then withdrew the old mortgage payment from my bank account even though they paid themselves. THE VP told me I had to go online and stop autopay..WHAT WHAT YOU PAY YOURSELF OFF and I have to stop autopay. Ok so then they have 30 days to send me my escrow balance check. 35 days later I get a check and try to deposit check and BOA says something is wrong with check. Said payment stopped. RP STILL LOOKING INTO IT

Really fast and easy service from day 1. They took our application by phone and Travis BeMent was very responsive to any questions we had during the whole process. We were very pleasantly surprised that we got our loan finalized in just about 3 weeks' time. Just recently my husband and I had a great experience when we saw an ad on TV with RP funding, we reached out to them they made us feel very comfortable, we gave them the information they needed and within a few weeks everything was taken care of, we were able to refinance at a very good rate they even paid off an outstanding debt that was over ahead. We just have to say that refinancing with RP Funding was the best choice we made for our financing needs! We did a lot of research before we decided and had heard a lot of positive comments and we have to say they were all right . The whole process was quick, painless, the loan officers were courteous and always got back to us quickly. The fact that we had “no closing costs” was a huge plus meaning we were able to get some cash to do some projects around the house. Most banks ask for tons of documents and it never seems to end. RP Funding was up front with everything and we closed in three weeks! We would definitely recommend RP Funding to friends and family! They get an A+ Rating from us !

We just refinanced our home and must've done 1,000 google searches to find a reputable and reasonable bank to proceed with the process. We kept seeing RP Funding on TV that claimed to "pay closing costs" and have a price match guarantee; which really appealed to us so we decided to apply and see what they offered us. We called an evening (after work around 6:30PM) and got a live and knowledgeable loan officer immediately. We got Kaitlyn Paalman who was kind, helpful, patient and professional. She provided a clear loan estimate the same evening. Since we already took the credit hit, we decided to shop around for comparison purposes. From google searches, we found Blue Spot Home Loans / Cherry Creek had fantastic reviews, we called and were also connected quickly with a knowledgeable loan officer. They also quickly provided a loan estimate that beat RP's both in interest rate (0.5% better) and lower closing costs (even though they do not claim to pay for closing costs??). Since we had a great first impression with Kaitlyn and RP Funding we decided to give them a shot to prove their price match guarantee. Within a few days they indicated that they could not price match (interest rates and closing costs) but for us to hold onto our loan estimate and we could apply for the $1,000 price match guarantee after closing under the original loan estimate terms with Blue Spot Home Loans / Cherry Creek. When we closed and had the notarized signed documents we provided them to RP along with their price match guarantee application. Unfortunately RP Funding chose to find whatever data point they could in our closing documents to make a case to decline the price match that they so proudly hail online and in the media. (Some concern over lock rate date in the closing documents which has absolutely nothing to do with the terms of the loan) All this after we were extremely transparent and shared the other bank’s loan estimate the same day it was received and all details have remained the same throughout so I don’t even understand (and never got a good explanation from RP) for the date that is being referred to deny the claim. But obviously, the only way to maintain that they "have only paid out the price loan guarantee 3 times" is to deny any eligible claim that is submitted. Overall, I am disappointed in the fact that they don't keep up their own guarantee, but also feel like any bank would try to pull this same stunt, so if they are the best deal for you it may be worth it, but don't expect them to hold up their end of the deal on the price match guarantee. Final thought - Since this is how RP chose to end things, kinda glad we got the second loan estimate with another bank and went that route. The fact that RP Funding could not match the other banks interest rate / closing fees and won’t honor their own price match guarantee sends up red flags.

I currently have my mortgage with RP Funding. I had my mortgage for 8 years, and decided to call in to refinance. While speaking to the mortgage broker I advised her I currently have my mortgage through them and wanted to get an approximate what the interest rates would be and reconfirmed there are no closing costs or origination fees. She reassured me that they do not charge that. She began to gather information from me and i told her you should have all this information since i am with RP Funding. Little that i knew she took it upon herself with the information they had and pulled my credit without my permission to later find out it will cost $11K to refinance and they are charging me Origination fees. Not only does it not make sense to move forward, but now I have a hard hit on my credit in which will bring down my credit score.. Very unhappy camper. By law they have to tell you they will be pulling your credit; i was never asked nor did I authorized it. So for those looking to refinance beware.

It was a good experience from beginning to end. Every rep is professional and friendly. The only need to update the customer about the fees they charge. They look like closing costs. I was very skeptical in the beginning. There’s nothing in this world for free. Everything they told us was true. They paid all closing cost except pre paid escrow. We were just about to use a mortgage broker to refi our home probably $7- 8k. Got 3.1 rate and they did pay all closing cost. They even reimbursed us the 500 we paid upfront for the appraisal. I would highly recommend this company.

I just recently had to refinance again do to matters that happened during Covid-19 shut down. My mortgage interest is even lower that it was previously. Closing was simple as I went to the Title Company and signed closing papers with Emily. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. I am old (73); I'm from New York City and I'm a cynic. So, when I saw the ads for RP Funding, I was both sceptical and curious. My life experience has taught me that when something seems "too good to be true" it probably is just that: not true. "Paying my closing costs?"; hard to believe. I checked the information on the BBB web site and noticed that there were more than a few complaints. But as I read through the complaints, I noticed two things: 1. The person making the complaint was, more often than not, completely inexperienced in financial transactions, and, 2. RP Funding answered every complaint and attempted to reconcile the problems encountered. And, in virtually every instance, that customer became a satisfied customer. My life experience has also taught me that, in business, problems are inevitable; how an individual or a business handle(s) those problems is the true test. RP Funding confronted the complaints and reconciled the problems; impressive. Several months ago, I had to make a trip to the Orlando International Airport. On the way back home, I decided to drop by the headquarters for RP Funding to "kick the tires." I was greeted by the receptionist and within a few minutes, I was speaking to a mortgage representative, who answered all my questions, and removed my doubts. Walking around the lobby, I became aware of the wisdom of RP Funding; help a prospective client find a house (RP Listing); help that client obtain financing (RP Funding) and, finally, expedite the process through closing (RP Title). Genius! When I returned home, I told my wife that I felt comfortable moving forward with RP Funding for our home refinancing. I've lost count on how many home mortgages I've had; probably between ten and fifteen. There were always problems. This was, by far, the easiest, most professional experience of my life. Our account professional was Stanka (Tanya) Ivancheva. Her emails, her telephone calls, her every request was done in a professional, clear and concise manner. She kept us advised on every phase of the operation; and what to expect next. Tanya told us what she needed; we provided the information she requested and that was it.
