Considered lots of options when buying our house. Family recommendations, banks, credit unions. Finally I did a Google search and found CMP. We went with Certified Mortgage Planners because they were very responsive, not pushy, they educated us without sounding too salesmany. I will definitely recommend them for first time home buyers like us or anyone who desires those qualities in their financing team. Edit:. Tony, Chris, and Kelly made our first home purchase a great experience! We close in two days, and they've been there through it all. They are ALWAYS willing to answer any question, big or small, via text, email, or phone call. We went under contract on one house, only to have it fall through after the appraisal. The Chris Brown Team remained positive and supportive as we continued the search. Kelly makes submitting documents easy and as pain-free as possible, by specifying EXACTLY what is needed. To say this was one of the easiest processes is an understatement. We bought our first house with our bank and the red tape and frustration we went through made this process look like a cakewalk. Tony was available via text or phone whenever we needed him as was his team. He is so knowledgeable and takes the time to explain every little detail. I will be recommending the CBT to anyone who is looking to buy a house. These guys are a class act! Thanks for everything. We couldn't be happier!

My husband and I have had a hectic couple of years where it has been one big event after another. It all started with an engagement and spiraled from there. Next thing we knew we were planning our wedding set for March of the following year. It was an exciting time and when that new year approached we were hit with another surprise, we discovered we were pregnant a month before our wedding, on valentines day no less! With a new life growing as we started our brand new lives as husband and wife we began to feel the extreme pressure of owning our own home. It became incredibly important for us to be paying our own mortgage and not a mortgage for someone else. After the arrival of our baby girl we finally found the perfect home and immediately wanted to jump on it. The realtor we worked with Bryan Nelson, who we also highly recommend, gave us the information for the Chris Brown team once we found our dream home. From that point on we were off to the races. It started off initially with creating our profiles on their personal server called floify. This was the tool that made communication crystal clear. Once we had our accounts setup we were notified by text and e-mail of all documents required by us to start the process for underwriting, all the while getting financial counseling on what to do and when to do it to improve our credit rapidly as a way of getting the interest rate necessary for the mortgage we needed. Chris and his team were all highly professional and readily there to answer any questions that we may have had. Which we did, we had a lot, and I mean a lot. Its pretty daunting when you're purchasing your first home, it seems almost as if you have stumbled into foreign territory and have lost your bearings because this is just a field in which you have no knowledge. The CB team was there to pick us up, hold our hand and give us the gentle pushes we needed to get things done in order to get the closing date we wanted. We went under contract at the very end of December and officially purchased our home yesterday. I feel its also important to mention that during the time frame of all of this the team kept a personal touch that one does not experience with many businesses. A prime example of this would be when we were submitting documents back and forth towards the final countdown in underwriting, my grandmother passed away. During a Tuesday update, an update which exists so you stay informed on how the process is moving along, Chris took time before giving me the update to express his sympathy for me and shared his own experience with a loss of his grandmother. It was a very much appreciated gesture and shows just how much this business likes to be involved with its clients. For all the reasons I have listed above, I obviously highly recommend this lender as your go to for all mortgage needs. There are plenty of other businesses out there that are capable of getting mortgages, but this business in the end felt less like a business and more like a family pulling together for the success of the whole tribe.

In comparing Chris Brown's Team's service levels and the personalization of my individual experience to my past home buying experiences, this organization is by far the best I've seen in the industry. Quality customer service and the ability to care for each client individually is a lost art in today's society, so when I come across it, i embrace it. My closing date is in April.
