I closed on my first home this past Monday! Lucy Reppond could have not made this process any easier and worry free. She was there for any questions I had. Educated me from the beginning all the way until I left closing with my keys in my hands. The next day she checked in on me. Her customer service was exceptional. Had a very unprofessional and bad experience with them. My contact person was Patrick. I applied for the FHA because Patrick said with my credit score not being so good due to loss of work during Covid that would be best. My honme is paid for 100% by the way is valued st approx 1M. After spending my whole day and part of the night and completing forms, Patrick told me thier Appraiser would get in touch. He took $500 from me. The Appraisal was a serious joke. The guy eye balled everything, took photos from door ways, gave a report that was not accurate. For example he gave photos of an attic, yet he never climbed up my attic. He said my windows were wood, we had recently installed brand new energy saving PVC windows. Our home Appraisal was waaay below market value compared to our neighbors. I tried to.contact Patrick by phone, texting, emails for updates on my application and Patrick was MIA. From the day he took my application and $ 500, he did not reach out to me. I'm disgusted and very upset with the way I was treated by Royal United Mortgage. There is no Royal treatment here! I have not received A SINGLE email from them on my status. I think they should learn the value of communication. They didn't have to give me the FHA, BUT It's important to tell me why they are not moving forward with me after profusely assuring me I would get the money in 10-14 days, and thatI I qualified. Took my $500 for a poor Appraisal and nothing to show for it. Now they are quiet as a church mouse. I would not recommend this company. Waste of my time and money!

Gabby was wonderful, kind and caring to me. She understood the difficulty I was going through and was always kind to me. She helped me with all forms and answered all my questions. When I first considered applying for a home equity loan, I researched reputable companies and contacted five. I immediately received a telephone call from all of them. The one call that particularly impressed me was from Noah Powell with Royal United Mortgage Company. To say that he is exceptional is not giving him enough credit. After speaking with him he gave me several options, which no other company did. He had amounts I would quality for, what my payments would be for each option, totally explained the entire process to me so that there would be no surprises. He kept in touch with me, immediately returned any call that I made to him. Because of Noah I chose to go with Royal United. I am closing today and simply cannot say enough about the excellent service I received from him.

Tim at the Bluffton location assisted my husband and I with doing a cash out refinance. He made the process so easy and not complicated at all. The best thing was when our loan was ready for closing but we had a family emergency come up, he was very patience so we can take care of our family. Once we were ready to close, that was so efficient and easy. The best thing with my entire transaction was that we were able to get the cash we wanted plus save on our monthly payment!
