Usually, I do not leave unsatisfactory reviews. Do not recommend this lender. Glad our mortgage has been transferred. Hard to get in touch with anyone to help with issues.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ever since i had my loan serviced by them it has been headache after headache. Didn't pay my homeowners insurance and claimed they didn't have the info. Then they didn't pay my taxes and claimed again they didn't have the info. Then said they paid the taxes and 2 and a half months later they still are not paid. Claimed to have sent a check that was returned to them by the township. Pray your loan does not get sold this this company.

I am newer home owner who has made 3 years of on time payments. This company will not waive a late fee after I submitted 1 payment a day late because their payment section on their website was down for maintenance on 6/16/21 . I was told by “Rick “ the supervisor in the escalation department that I should have known to pay by phone instead and they have no record of system being down. Poor service from Rick employee ID “RA2” and home point financial. Choose another lender!!

Great company!! I was in a hard time with my old mortgage and the company and Ryan helped trough it in less tha an a month my refinance was done.. I really and truly recommend RYan and home point for your home loans services… I’m truly appreciate how they helped and walked me trough everything… every step of the way… thanks RYan…

This company tried to hold your money as long as they can without any reason. I had a fire in my house. They hold the insurance money for over 1/2 year without giving any reason. After the repair was done, they refused to go there to inspect, and refuse to release the fund. I will have to file a case in BBB to get my money back.

Spoke to Mike Crespin regarding to apply a loan, after signed all the documents and he keep pushing us to pay for the appraisal, after we paid he call us and said their company not do loan for co-op. I told him I was apply the loan for my co-op when I first spoke to him!!

Run my credit for a refinance 3 months later suddenly they stop responding to my email and phone calls 3 weeks later they say i was not approved without a reason or a report why i was denied then sell my account to another bank wow, now im still here trying to refinance with another bank great job for wasting my time Homepoint.

Don't waste your time with this mortgage company, been waiting since October for a refi to go through. Turns out because they suck at what they do they let my credit report lapse so the refi didn't go through. Worst company I ever dealt with can't wait to refi with another company to get away from these loosers.

Obtaining home financing through Home Point Financial Corporation is by far the worst experience ever. I don't recommend this company and if I was able, I'd leave a zero star review. Now that interest rates are at historic lows, looking to refinance, and move my business away from this institution. On a bright note, for those people who read reviews, I recommend Prime Lending; specifically Tom Wiseman at Prime Lending. He's easily Googled...UPDATE to my original review posted four months ago; we continue to have nothing but headaches with Home Point.

Waste of time dealing with this company! simply trying to get refinance. I have great finances in place but every time you call them take a month to even get a call back. no progress on my application and it has been 4 months.
