We closed officially on our house this afternoon! We have been beyond grateful for everything that RJ has done for us every step of this process. He is always happy to answer questions and at this point feels more like a friend than our mortgage lender. We absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to finance their home! He truly is one of a kind and goes leaps and bounds above expectations! Also, we had the privilege of working with his assistant, Isabelle, and she was so wonderful and helpful! From the very first contact RJ and his team were great to work with and made everything seamless and understandable for purchasing a 2nd home in Bellingham. I am NOT a fan of borrowing money so I came to the table with a bias against anything mortgage related. Still not wild about the borrowing part, but would HIGHLY recommend RJ for anything mortgage or refinance related. They did a great job of communicating and keeping us up to speed on the process with weekly programmed yet personal updates and in between personal emails. They were also very good at using web based and tech platforms to make the process very clean and interactive, all in a way that was not "techy" or hard to grasp. We did our close remotely and they handled everything from the digital signing and review to the direct meeting with the mobile notary to sign key docs at our home in California. From personal video messages from RJ to regular interaction with Isabelle, they were there from the beginning through the close. Can't say enough about RJ and his team. If you are buying in the Bellingham area I would high recommend!

RJ and his team made what seemed impossible in a crazy market possible! He flawlessly guided us through every twist and turn that’s involved with purchasing a home. He answered all our important and silly questions in a timely and professional manner. They were also extremely patient with us figuring things out on our end and dealing unusual complications. RJ was great to work with! He helped us get a loan for our dream property and I truly don't believe anyone could have worked any harder than he did. We had a very tight timeline for closing and we also had some significant challenges with underwriting that he was able to overcome. My wife and I have very different communication styles and RJ was really easy for both of us to communicate with together and separately. He's happy to take the time to explain things whether they're simple or complex. He's also happy to give quick updates and answers.
