I have car loan, my mortgage and most recently refinanced my home with River Works CU. They easily provided the best interest rates out of several banks/credit unions that I was looking into. Everyone is very professional, courteous and pleasant! They made the process as easy as possible and we were even able to close early one our home! They definitely go above and beyond for their customers. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Just the worst place to do any sort of mortgage or loan business on earth. My refinance started in February and it’s now August with my closing in sight I can finally say it’s almost done. Never would I ever recommend anybody Riverworks credit union. They were slow and confused, I was bounced from loan agent to loan agent. At one point my “Loan paperwork” was lost because another person was trying to borrow a similar amount of money and last name also started with a P. What a joke. Do you yourself a favor and borrow the money from the shady guy in an ally before you go to this establishment. I wish I could give it less stars than this

*added an edit at bottom Quite possibly the most unprofessional, incompetent credit union you could possibly deal with. Went to their site looking for a quote thinking I'd be able to get a good rate on an auto loan since they work closely with IBEW 103, and being a member of said union myself. Made the mistake of starting to fill out an auto-loan application thinking i was getting a quote. Got to the third page where it asked for the vehicle information. I had no vehicle, as I was looking for a quote. I did not complete the application and simply closed the window. The next day I get an email from one of their loan processors, Tammy Kinney. She was looking for more information on the vehicle. I responded by telling her there was no vehicle, that the application hadn't been completed or submitted. I received no response. The next day i get an alert from my credit card company that an inquiry had been made on my credit history. I found out the next day that this woman ran a hard inquiry on an application that hadn't been completed or submitted when I went to a dealership to check out a vehicle which I ended up purchasing. I was unable to negotiate the APR I wanted due to my credit score dropping 10 points as a direct result of Tammy's, and ultimately River Works Credit Union's incompetence. I emailed her yet again expecting a reply on Monday; did not receive one. Tuesday comes, I email her again. FINALLY on Wednesday she sends a reply. She hadn't reached out to me due to the fact they had to test the system themselves. You couldn't have told me this on Thursday, Friday, Monday or Tuesday? Not even a courtesy update letting me know they're looking into it? it doesn't take nearly a week to partially fill out an application; it took me less than ten minutes. Her replies were simply one sentence responses with as little information as possible. No apology, no accountability on their part, no hint of professionalism or customer service (seems to echo every other review out there, no?) This leads me to believe she spent the past week simply covering up her blunder to avoid taking any responsibility/accountability of her colossal incompetence. I can't imagine anyone reading this review would think to trust these bumbling idiots with their finances. It is a shame they have attached themselves to IBEW Local 103. The only recourse I really have here is to leave this review, and to advise as many fellow IBEW 103 members to avoid this unprofessional, incompetent credit union for the next 30 years when I will retire from the local. *EDIT: One more detail to add. I asked why she would run a hard inquiry BEFORE reaching out about information missing from the application. She explained that the inquiries are done automatically, so by the time she sees the application, the credit history has already been pulled. So basically, if someone has access to your personal information, they could simply file multiple applications via River Works Credit Union's website using said personal info to artificially tank your credit score. My only correspondence with this woman was via email so i have this in writing. How in the world is this place in business?

Just opened a new account here and the man we worked with was kind, helpful and informative. The online banking system seems user friendly also. Inside the branch was clean and we were assisted promptly!

They renovated this site and now everyone sits at a desk, problem with that is, when you walk in, none of the reps will have a customer there with them and will all pretend to be so busy on the computer that no one will look away/up from the computer and say "Can I help you?" That is very poor customer service. Management please take note of this........

We recently refinanced our home a couple months ago and I could not have asked for a better staff assisting me through the process. They were professional, courteous, and, above all, diligent in keeping me apprised of the status of my loan application. The loan department guided me through the process and explained the details and what to expect going forward. Needless to write, the staff and leadership at RWCU run an excellent operation.

What a wonderful group of people who make Riverworks Credit Union the only place you need to shop for a loan. Far beyond fair, always helpful and simply a pleasure to deal with. It’s like stepping back 30 years in time when service was a priority and pride mattered. It all started with my loan officer Elliott, he found the product that worked best for me. Joellen coached me through the process. Tina and Peter made sure that my loan was processed timely and even locked me into a great rate. If I could give six stars I would... they are that good!!!!

Great bank. The tellers are very kind and willing to explain what may confuse you. Glad to have riverworks as my Credit Union. The place got remodeled last year and it looks great now. I hadn't seen it prior, just opened an account during the construction but the final result is gorgeous.

Opt out is a NIGHTMARE! I have never signed to receiving promotional letters from you! You are a SCAM for asking people for their Social security number!!!!!

Customer service is very poor being an African American when ever I enter the bank there would be 2-3 Caucasian clerks available but would make me wait for one of the Latino clerks to get any service there’s just many online options for banking nowadays one does not have to accept mediocre service.
