This company will make it very easy to approve you for a very high interest rate loan. Most people that use this company have challenging credit and are just happy to get approved so don’t let the good reviews fool you. They will con you into making additional payments with the promise that they will match your payment and then when you do as they asked and confirm with several representatives they will make up reason for not crediting your account. If you are in need of financing that bad I would recommend going to Upgrade. They are way more transparent. They don’t play these stupid games and their representatives seem to understand how to do their jobs instead of blaming their incompetence on their system not updating. Stay away from these guys.

I got a $5k loan with Rise and paid it off early. I then reapplied and was unable to proceed because they couldn’t verify my income or identity. Repeat customers are treated like trash. I would not recommend.

This is a last resort , or emergency based loan. I had an expected expense, in need a loan of a larger amount. Funding was as promised, but there was a huge delay in accurate credit reporting . I literally paid the loan off in a few months , had this huge loan balance on my credit report for months after loan was paid in full . It reports payments every 30 days but not loan payoffs until 90 days later . I regret this loan , choose wisely.

Apparently they do not verify that the name matches the SS# so my account does not have my name on it. I just want to get my banking info changed and it has been the biggest aggravation I have ever experienced. I have been trying to accomplish this for 2 freakin weeks. Ugh...

Just got off the phone with a representative questioning a payoff amount of my loan thinking it would be less than the balance owed but no that's not the way this company works. I paid the balance due & was told I couldn't get a email confirmation until it posted.

I had about paid off my first loan early, they emailed me that I was eligible to refinance my loan. So I accepted the refinance thinking there wouldn't be any problems since I was almost paid off early. The next day they emailed me that they needed all this proof of who I am, none of this was requested when I applied for my first loan, I was approved instantly. I feel they were trying to scam me, why would they not need this proof before they approved my first loan. I told them to cancel it.

My first loan I got from them was quick and easy, I repaid my loan and applied for a new one and now it's taken a week so far and still no one has fixed the system error so I can finish my application! Trying for a new company as I NEED this money!

This is the third time I have gone through Rise for help. It is always an easy and painless experience. They are fast and their customer service is wonderful. The ones I have spoken to have always been polite, cheerful and helpful. I like the articles to help you get on track. I will always use Rise whenever I need help.

Horrible company. Applied for a loan they denied me because they messed up my bank information, how does a company like this miss handle customers information? Stay away from them because they will use your information that you submit them and use it against you. Completely fraudulent company

This is a convenient and affordable way to take care of some expenses that I needed to get done

They should train their customer service reps better. I was told that my husband could apply to meet the needs of an unexpected home improvement as I already had a loan (which I was satisfied with) & was not able to add to it to meet our need. When he went as instructed to their website, the customer service rep failed to mention that he had to have a mail offer code in which to actually apply. Went to the chat option again & the next customer service rep was less than helpful. Sorry to say, but they have lost business.

I was really in need and RISE came to my rescue it was so easy to sign up and apply with in minutes they approved me and the next morning I woke up checked my bank account and the money was there no questions asked. Thank you so Much RISE for saving me.

I’ve done business with rise over a year now. I never had any complaints until December 2020. I asked for a deferment September which they allowed. I never miss a payment. I had a lot of health expenses in December I have diabetes type 2 . I called and asked for a extension for December and was told I got have one because I already had one and I only had 2 more payments. I get once a month they knew this when they gave me a loan. The customer service woman said the best she could do was to extend the payment out to December 14th. I told her I’m paid once a month that would not be sufficient. She then told me to call back the next day and I could get the payment extended until till the last of the month that they only give one extension a day. I call back. The next day and was told that information was not correct and there was nothing they could do. They claim to help during this pandemic but they lie. They put the payment through causing me insufficient fees. This is how they treat their good customers.

If I could rate 0 stars I would based on the banking verification process. I was approved for a loan at 6:27pm when navigated to bank verification page I submitted all information required. The page literally spins for like 5-10 minutes and nothing happens. I then get another message at 6:47pm stating loan application denied because banking information couldn’t be verified. A very horrible experience the representatives I spoke with couldn’t assist. I was advised to reapply in 10 calendar days. No one was willing to give an alternative option or solution. There were more excuses then resolutions. So much for the companies FCR(First call resolution) method. Absolutely horrible and there needs to be a plan for the customers to be better served

I did a loan because i aboslutely had no option, but their interest rates are CRAZY HIGH! I paid almost double what I borrowed from them. Ask your family for money, ask your local church for money, ask a friend for money, sell something or do door dash or any side gig but avoid avoid avoid avoid this predatory lender.

PLEASE RECONSIDER EVER taking out a loan from Rise. They are thieves!!!! You can't pay on the interest (only) EVEN if you're AHEAD of your scheduled due date! I can't stress how disappointed and hurt I am knowing that there's sharks out here like these theives!!! Even after you have OVER paid them back MORE than DOUBLE of what you took out~ they have the NERVE to give you a bad remark on your credit report IF you express how upset you are with them! I'm going to always stand for what's right even though I cursed them out they had it coming~ you can't STEAL from people and expect them to wish you goodly words. Rise has been completely DISHONEST and should be FINED and SUED!!!😡 LOAN HAS BEEN (PAID IN FULL) AND THEY STILL SHOW A BALANCE DUE ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT DISGUSTING DIRTY THIEVES!!!

The process was quick and simple. I did not think I would even get approved for it but they approve me. I like how before you accept the loan they want to make sure the loan is not going to hurt you financially. I was approved for 5000 which was great help me pay off some of my wife's loans.

I needed the money so unfortunately I did resort to using the offer I was sent. I have good credit and I'm having to pay 127% intrest! That's insane! I should have just gotten a payday loan for what I needed. This bank clearly takes advantage of people with good or bad credit.

It is an easy process and pretty much as advertised. However, be aware that the interest rates are astronomical (if you are unable to pay off early you will pay 3 times or more the loan amount back). And despite what their website says, the interest rate will never be reduced. So buyer beware. There are probably cheaper options out there if you have the time to look for them.

Worst place to get a loan for people who really need help! I am a mother of 2 and a single parent. I needed some extra help just with this month and these people will give you a loan with a 101% interest and expect you to pay the loan back is impossible. You pay 400$ just so more then half can go to them. Never again will I go through these people.

Interest rate are too high read agreement policy carefully I thought I could pay it off early and only get charge for the Interest rate for the 4 month I had it but was told I ajve to still pay the full amount after I made over a 1000 dollar in payment would not recommend if you want borrow money. They also apply about a 9 dollar fee a DAY..so it you add that up it's all Interest you are paying for my biggest mistake was to use this site

I called the company for a payoff amount they said they could not help me. I just don't understand I want to pay my bill without it going into default. Now if I let it go into default I'll get all kinds of calls with a payoff amount. Once I get this paid I will never try to borrow again and I would not recommend this company to anyone. I was in a jam.and need it.

I paid my loan off like 3 months early and was never late. And tried to get another loan and was told NO cause of some new policy. DO NOT waste your time. I was told even though I was a repeat customer when you apply again your just like a NEW customer. Very poor customer service for paying early

At first I had no complaints about this place but just yesterday I had 3 payments deducted from my account even though there was a payment arrangement set up for it. I was only supposed to be charged once. Then when I chatted with them I was told I had to wait until Monday because that department was closed. This was on a Thursday. Then to top it off they tried to charge me AGAIN on Saturday (Christmas) but my bank rejected it because they said it looked fraudulent since I already had multiple payments to them. Also their website never hardly works. You have to keep clicking on something multiple times for it to work. I will be calling the better business bureau as soon as possible!!!

Got a $1,500 loan in December and have paid $1,000 since then and my balance is still $1,150 (April). They really take advantage of people.

Fine print does explain the criteria on your loan but understand the interest accrues everyday. This means doubling up to pay off early is almost a waste of time. Buyer beware. Get a thorough understanding of the terms. I did not. I am stuck!

Convenient but ridiculously high interest rates. It takes forever to pay off unless you really pay it back super quick. I doubt if I ever use Rise Credit again. There way better and cheaper options out there.

I got a 3000$ loan in 2019 I pay 318$ a month and never missed a payment. After 19 payments paying over 6000$ It still says I owe 1400$ I've payed my loan plus another 3000$ interest. This place is a scam yeah they give u money fast but u never get to pay it off. If they stated plain that I had to pay for the loan and more money in interest then the loan was I would of never got this loan. It's the biggest rip off ever. It would of been better to get a payday loan at least they say exactly what u have to pay back and it doesn't change.

Awesome customer service , fast funding , reasonable payments and payment schedule . I've used Rise many times for emergencies and I highly recommend . You do need to consider interest and payments .

This company is a joke . I emailed everything they ask for all covers showing and visible. I kept getting back response saying can't read and kept asking to resend everything. So I called and customer service was no help she said uts all automated u can't talk to anyone. So after a wk I gave up and went somewhere else and got my loan the next day with no problems . I will never try this company again.Thanks alot.

I have been a Rise Customer for about 1 year plus. I paid off 2 loans in full. Last one was a few months ago. I recently got married February 18 2020 in Nigeria. My last loan was actually approved while I was in Nigeria on my 2nd vacation in Octobeber 2020. I recently applied for another loan under my maiden name because that is how the offer came in the mail and email. The verification was pending due to my last name. I submitted my Social Security Card and Texas Driver's license. Then later I was asked to submit a copy of my Marriage License which I did. Now I'm being told that I need a marriage license from the US because my Nigerian Marriage License is NOT valid in the United States🤔 MAKES NO SENSE TO ME: 1. I am the same CUSTOMER who paid off a previous loan. 2. Texas Department of Public Safety and The Social Security Administration considers my marriage license from Nigeria as a LEGAL document but not RISE!🤔 I guess everything happens for a reason after reading all of the other negative reviews😵

A few days before I decided to refinance my loan, I changed my payment account, sent the paperwork back and they had put in the wrong account number. Then when I refinanced, the money went to the wrong account and then I'm told I have to wait 3 days for the bank to return it, before I can get the money. It takes an act of congress to get ahold of anyone at the Corporate office in Fort Worth, TX. I do believe I will do business with someone else.

I'll never do business with these people again!!!! I was recently approved for a loan and paid it back in FULL not even 2 weeks later. Remind you it's been 2 weeks, so nothing much has changed since then! After payment was processed ,as a loyal PAYING customer I was told that that I was now eligible to apply for another loan with an easier process! NOT SO!! I was shocked at the results when i was DECLINED! Very disappointed WITH the way you guys treat your LOYAL customers!!!!!

We’ve been hit with some hard times and needed some money and fast. Getting this loan was super easy and I like the fact we can pay it off early with no penalty.

I got a loan because i needed for surgery. They were upfront but it seems as if they charge interest on your payment not just accrued. I knew id pay it off way before the time i signed up for. In little over a month ive paid over 500 in interest on a 2700 loan. I even made payments one day behind each other, and they still charged 300 dollars in interest between the two days!! I posted a picture of the transactions here. I knew they were loan sharks but this is life or death financially. Ill be done with them soon. Dont do it you guys!!!!!

Rise Credit is predatory lending. I applied and they offered me 148.9% APR, which I declined. I have other loan companies offer me 12% to 15% APR. DO NOT TAKE A LOAN FROM THEM!!!!!
