Not the place to go for currency exchange. They made a cool $50 on our transaction and when I grumbled about it being a sheer markup and asked if it was a scam the two men behind the counter agreed that it was. They did stick to current exchange rates and were quick and efficient, but definitely left feeling like I'd been robbed

Every part of my experience here was positive. The place is beautiful, easy to get to and the people who who help you are friendly and knowledgeable. The prices I received were very fair. I would find it hard to believe I would get better elsewhere in Rochester! I highly recommend Ridge Coin and Jewelry Exchange in Henrietta!

Both locations have a variety of silver and gold coins and rounds. They have great prices. They happily will purchase your precious metals. I always ask what's the spot price for today. They immediately look it up and let me know what it is. Recommend using cash for your purchases or trade metals. Using a card will add 3% or 4% fee and taxes to your purchase. Cash will give you the best price every time. They love when you sell them 1/10oz gold coins and American Silver Eagles. Both which are highly liquid. Feel free to bring in what precious metals you want to sell. Service is friendly, fast and they will happily pay you cash for all the precious metals you bring.

I have been going to Ridge Coin in Henrietta for a number of years, and I have always had a good experience there. The staff are knowledgeable and more than fair. I have always felt that they are giving me a good price and are not trying to rip me off. They use reputable resources in their pricing and information. I would recommend a long established business like this more than some shady pop-up shop.

Not only was I greeted with smiles but when Dimitri discovered, just after I left, a coin of mine that was left in the tester, I received a handwritten note and a check for the value in the US mail. I took two diamond rings with matching wedding bands. I had a price in my head that I was hoping to get for them. Demetri, their diamond guy was wonderful. He just looked at them, weighed them and gave me a price. I couldn’t believe, it far exceeded the amount I was expecting. They cut me a check and that was it. Their establishment is very clean and professional. I was very impressed and am already telling friends about them.

I brought in a large carrier with silver plate in it. This is the first place that I have found who buys silver plate. While Demitri was weighing the stuff, he found some things that were sterling silver and told me- and paid me more $ for those pieces. I would have never known if he hadn’t been so honest. After dealing with them once I won't go to any other pawn shop in Rochester - consistently higher payouts than any other shop and reasonable loan terms. Staff is easy to talk to and respectful no matter who you are. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful visit yesterday to Ridge Coin. Normally I go to their Irondequoit store but I had some antiques and chose to go to their Henrietta store. I felt that I was given a fair price based on yesterday's gold prices. In addition, they even took items that were not gold. It's always a pleasurable experience dealing with either store. Prices are good!! Get all those coins and jewelry and go make some money!! Collecting dust in your drawers is just silly!!

Not only was John so informative on the phone, but also very warm in person and he was more than fair!! It is after all a business, and I expected I would have to come down a lot in price, but that wasn't the case at all!! The staff here is very professional and kind. The guy I dealt with was very knowledgeable and he made me feel comfortable selling my jewelry to this establishment. I got more than I expected for my gold rings, earrings and necklaces. I will definitely be doing business with them again!
