Purchase in Myrtle Beach- Loan Officer Lisa VanBuskirk. I would HIGHLY recommend Lisa (and the Revolution Mortgage Myrtle Beach office in general). The loan process got delayed for reasons on both sides (on Revolution's side, the closing cost sheets kept coming riddled with errors), and the closing costs were increased without explanation. The signing of the mortgage included a non-optional sheet that allowed Revolution to fill in any page with missed signatures, something that I was not comfortable having. I eventually decided that I couldn't partner with this company for the 30-year mortgage term as I didn't feel I could trust it. Now, I can't get them to respond to my requests to send a cancellation notification to my bank for my HELOC. I would avoid.

Revolution Mortgage and more specifically Paul Siber and Ali Miller did an absolutely fantastic job working with me and my rather unique refinance loan. They were always prompt with communication, patient, kind, and always up to the task of thoroughly explaining every step of the process. Prior to finding Revolution Mortgage, I had several poor experiences with similar companies. I truly was surprised at the night and day difference between the other mortgage companies and Revolution. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a mortgage loan!

Stephen and Pennie are amazing! Our situation was far from ideal, marginal credit, one self employed for just over 3 years, one on temporary disability, during a pandemic. We had tried unsuccessfully to refinance in the past, but with our only strong factor being great equity in the home, it wasn't enough. Stephen and Pennie were able to find mitigating factors for every negative item on the list, enough so that we were able to not only refinance our mortgage, but take cash out to perform some significant home improvements. They made the process simple, streamlined, and speedy. Start to finish their communication has been outstanding, with several conversations taking place outside business hours, it seemed they were 'always on the job', shepherding our file through every obstacle. We can't recommend them highly enough, their work was nothing short of miraculous.

I recently refi-ed my house with Jeff Neumer with Revolution Mortgage and had a good experience. The rates were really good compared to competitors, the cost of the refi itself (closing costs and other fees) were very low. Jeff gave me a nice credit in the beginning of the loan process that helped offset the cost of the loan which was nice. The only thing that didnt go quite as planned is we closed in 45 days not 30 days as we initially anticipated. All in all though, everything went really well. I would recommend them.

I refinanced my fixed 15 year mortgage with Revolution and received a very competitive APR and closing costs/fees were much lower than the other lender/bank fees. My Loan Officer, Malcom, did a great job communicating matters in a timely fashion that facilitated a timely close process, despite slight delays of providing the documents on my end (approximately a month in a half following the submission of my application). All in all, despite my initial reservations, I had a great refinancing experience and highly recommend others to check out Revolution.

Tom is one of if not the best Mortgage Banker in Columbus. During my time working at Chase Tom was legend that every branch employee in Columbus knew of. He had a reputation for NEVER missing a closing. That’s the most important thing when you are looking for a lender. They need to be on top of things or you could lose the home you worked so hard to get an offer accepted on. After working with Tom to secure my dream house I can attest to the fact that he hasn’t changed a bit. The only difference between now and then is that he is working for an even better company in Revolution Mortgage and is able to offer even more cut throat competitive rates. I locked in a rate with Tom that was 35 basis points lower than the average lock-in that day. I even called up other highly rated lenders to see if I could get a better quote. I couldn’t. Working with Tom is wonderful. He has an infectious enthusiasm and is obsessed with giving his clients the best possible experience. I highly recommend giving Tom a call if you are looking to secure a mortgage for your home.

Submitted information to get a quote on a loan… got ghosted by the loan officer after asking twice for any updates etc and being told he would have something out to me that afternoon. It’s been 5 days since with zero acknowledgment or response. Pretty scary and sad that someone is allowed to conduct business like this and the company allows it. I am glad I never heard back as I don’t like to support a business who lacks common courtesy and respect for their potential clients. I went with another lending company who was able to properly communicate with me. Shame on this company!

Prior to meeting him, I had bounced around with other lenders and was quite frustrated with the extra fees they wanted to charge for a decent rate. Dennis Zahn at Revolution Mortgage was very helpful with refinancing our house from a 30 year to a 15 year with a much lower rate. He was knowledgeable and easy to work with and communicate with. The process went very smoothly and didn't take very long at all.

Jeff and Jennifer @ Revolution provided great service throughout our refinancing process. Jeff was patience as we debated and posted on the market and rates. They quickly processed our application, followed up and communicated information. We got a great rate, and it only took a month from application to loan funding even with the subordination, which added 1-2 week delay. However, we did have some issues arise during the signing process, Title did not get record properly as we had requested, which was upsetting to find out during the signing process - now we have to pay additional fees to get this corrected. And although our subordination for our HELOC was approved, during the signing a document was included to close out HELOC, which we were not in agreement with and did not sign.

Paul Siber was terrific. By far the easiest process I've ever had in securing a home loan. The app is easy to use and we uploaded all documents and signatures effortlessly. Quick loan processing and the closing was done at our home! I compared rates/costs and Revolution had the best! Highly recommend!

Revolution ran my credit, and set me up with an account to track my refinance progress. If you don’t meet credit criteria, most companies immediately decline you. Not Revolution. They make you provide personal and financial documentation, to include tax statements, paychecks stubs, drivers license copies, etc., before declining you based on your credit score. It’s an unnecessary invasion of privacy, considering they are already privy to a credit score that doesn’t meet their criteria. I’m fine with getting declined, as I’m confident that my credit score will meet the threshold of lenders in the next 30 days or so, but it’s frustrating that this company gave us false hope and wasted our time in the process. Not to mention, all of our personal and financial information is in their system now. I would never even have used these guys if bank rate.com hadn’t recommended them based on my credit score, which was correctly entered on my part. Clearly, I was misled by someone.

April Roberts and her team were the best. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. They searched other programs and didn't stick to the same loan type I had and they were able to get me a lower interest rate and payments. Other companies I talked with only looked at what I had and told me they could not do anything for me.
