This is the best bank for customer service. I started at Chase and they would not help open an account. We walked in and they were so helpful. I have my daughter account at this Regions and they have been great with customer service. Tim was so helpful and so was the manager. They helped a young girl I am working with get on her feet by opening account when she is from out of state. Most banks will not give you the time of day. This one went above and beyond. I have my revolving line of credit through them and they have been great.

Terrible!!! I’m not saying that all Regions banks are terrible but this one in Sanford, Florida is. There is never a branch manager there and the customer service is awful. I tried calling the one 800 number to get some information on my account and was literally on hold for over an hour and still no one picked up the phone. I closed my account and went to a different bank!!!! This particular branch needs to get it together

This branch has no clue what they are doing. I called inquiring about opening an account for my minor son. The girl stated she was new and would have to call me back with what documentation I would need to bring in with him. I never heard back from her. Today I call and speak with a man and he told me I’d have to bring in a state ID for my son even though my son isn’t old enough to be on an account with me. I asked him what is the point of bringing an ID for my son if he can’t open an account or be a joint holder? He replied “Well then the point of the ID would be null and void since he can’t be on an account.” Most incompetent employees I’ve ever dealt with.

Went to the bank to report fraud on my business account. They came back stating that I use cash app on my personal account so it must be valid. Desiree Ramoutar is a horrible banker. She has no idea on her bank procedures. She was very rude.

The worst Branch Manager in history. Been with them for almost two years and the branch manager decided she was going to shut down our business accounts for no reason other than she could. The discrimination we have experienced from this branch because we are not US citizens has been awful. If you are a non US citizen don't Bank with them.

All they ever do is call me while I’m at work about helping me save money and then charge me overdraft fees despite having overdraft protection. When I have an issue that I’ve never had with another bank, they insist it’s a universal problem and I just have to deal with it and I don’t. Will be closing my account ASAP.

    Response from the owner

Had this bank for 4 years. For the most part I would have nothing bad to say except....a couple weeks ago I came in with a problem and the lady who spoke with me seemed to be extremely helpful and understanding to what my issue was. She stated we would get this resolved one way or another....until I left her multiple messages and never heard from her again. It has now been 3 weeks since my issue. I refuse to bank with someone who does not take my money as seriously as I do. Closed the account and went elsewhere.

After reading some of the reviews here I had to comment. I hold my business and personal accounts here an I am very happy. Regions bank is a great bank because I have seen them in action helping the community they are involved in. ALL banks follow federal regulations, So basically it comes down to customer service. The customer service has been top notch. I just moved from a bank that said their policy is to not get involved in the local community.( they want our business but wont help to grow ours , seems a little one sided.) Regions is the bank for me.

Terrible banking experience all around. Website always down, mobile app connects about 60% of the time, phone wait times are upwards from 15 minutes, followed by the disconnects: I would say this bank is stuck in 1990s, but it would have been a terrible experience even then. I was forced into this relationship by Auto dealer financing through them, please save yourself some pain and don't get into it voluntarily.
