Initially, Mike responded to me after 10:00 p.m. on a Saturday evening. On Sunday afternoon, he walked me through all of the different loan options and explained the terminology that I was missing. He is not your average loan originator, but is dedicated to finding the best loan, at the best rate and ensuring that you know exactly what is happening throughout the process. He even helped me with negotiating fees with the title company so I could use a local company that I had already been in contact with. They weren't the cheapest but Mike was able to show me the fees of another title company to provide to the one I was using and they matched the closing costs based on having that information. It wasn't a coincidence that I came across Mike. After having a less than stellar experience with another mortgage lender, I did my research to find out who THE BEST person was in my area. After reading about other experiences with Mike, I knew I had to speak with him. He has since gone out on his own and now runs his own show so I had to dig a little to find his contact info (he has since updated it). I have already referred him out. Even though this particular house didn't pan out, I will be absolutely reaching out to him when I find the next property. Have no reservations if you are looking for an honest and transparent lender.
