I got Donovan Salem’ s phone number through a friend and glad I am that I got it. I wanted to refinance my home and take advantage of the current low interest rates (Fall-2021) but knew it could get difficult to qualify despite a good credit score as my debt ratio was very high. Donovan asked all the basic documents and went for it. He was fast, efficient and to the point in everything. The process was painless. Everything kept simple. Anything that could raise a question, he asked about and straightened it with the lender before it could become a problem. At the time of this transaction, I was residing abroad and he took it in stride. Emails, what’s app and many other accommodations for my particular circumstances did not seem to ruffle him. In less than a month, he got me the loan I wanted. Interest rate as I wished. Monthly payment at the amount I wanted. And length of the loan for 15 years as I had requested. Cherry on the cake: no pre-payment penalty. My current lender offered me a refinanced loan at one and half the rate I got with Donovan and for longer making my monthly payment just beyond my reach. I had an exemplary payment history of about 10 years with this lender. Yet it did not matter. Having had this experience, I was in a position to truly value Donovan’s talent and I laud his magic. It did not hurt that Donovan was fun to work with. Indeed, talking with him always made me smile and feel energized. So, on top of being extremely good at what he does (loans), he is also a delight to interact with. He knows to make one feel special. Too good to be true? The proof of the pudding is in the eating as they say and Donovan delivered what he promised. I highly recommend his services. PS: My friend also got his house mortgage successfully refinanced. We have been considering a refinance to save money now. Consideration for adding back about $6K-7K and 7 years of payments were the biggest issue. Also, the interest rate was approximately 1.50% overall. With the current inflation rates and being on a fixed income, our lower payment will hopefully that money will got a little further. Every penny counts. Being that there is no way to pay off a 30 year with our time on earth, we’ll let the kids figure it out. As to the mortgage company, they worked hard to insure we felt comfortable about our decision. It was quick and easy. Never felt that we were under any pressure for their benefit… but for ours. Would I recommend them? Of course I would. If they give bonuses for bring in customers… that works (even though that was not mention). Our agent was full of “piss & vinegar.” That was a good thing. Did not follow up with anything they guaranteed. And then were completely unprofessional when I tried resolving the problem. I would have rather went with a bigger and better mortgage company like Rocket Mortgage and paid a little bit higher interest than deal with liars. I’m a veteran, veterans do not use this company. They are the worse and lie so much. Once you close they will do absolutely nothing for you, to include paying you what they owe you.
