Provident Bank John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City

Janice is extremely rude! After a phone conversation, I say "thank you", only to get the phone hung up in my ear. Not a "You're welcome" not a "have a nice day" not a "thanks for calling Provident", no, the phone just hangs up in my ear, and she did it twice. I called back to ask for her name and she did it again after I once again said, "thank you". No professionalism, not pleasant at all! Everytime I come to the bank I avoid her because she's never pleasant. People open their accounts here when they can choose any other bank, and then get met with rudeness! No appreciation for their customers. The security guard Dennis greets every single customer that comes through the doors and opens the door for everyone with a big smile and a warm welcome, he's absolutely wonderful and makes you feel so welcome! Cora is always pleasant with a warm smile! You need more employees like her.

I came in did a deposit for my landlord I waited on line first off the security guard is so loud, it’s a business I’m glad I don’t want to open an account here I can’t imagine telling the banker my ssn while in the back round hearing the mans convo. Second the teller was so rude when she asked where’s the account number I said I have his name. talking under her breath like I couldn’t hear her. It wasn’t my account and all I had was his name, lady I don’t care if your computer wasn’t in front of you, when I asked for her name she didn’t give me her name and she didn’t have a name tag.management needs to do something this I guess they know I’m not a customer but still treat us all the same. All I know is the teller has red hair and glasses

The bank is close to where i live and it is nice and they helped me to replaced my debit card on spot keep it up.

Won't allow me to close my account because my ex is on it and he lives in GA. Horrible customer service and very unprofessional women working there, will switch banks soon.

They close early then other provident bank if the app say they close at 1:15 why they close at 12:50 they close the doors on my face they so disrespectful never again i will go 2 this bank......

I came in to do a deposit for my mother and I went in with my son the security guard is nice and he asked me if he can give him chocolate I said no and he gave him anyways it shocked me. I can’t belive it how rude he when I said to him I told you no his answer was the kid said yes. I didn’t want to create a bigger thing then it was. He is allergic to milk please stay away from this place or they should hire a different guard that listens

Today weather blow 20 💨 also but no restroom in this place Not for customer support 😂

I love that this is still a regular bank friendly staff and professional tellers.
