Jess Silva and his team are really great. It was really a great experience as a first time home buyer during current seller market situation. Jess Silva is a true professional. He knows what he is doing. We had lot of pressure from my builder but the way he handled them, it was awesome. I highly recommend them and looking forward to work with them again in the future!

I can't say enough good things about Northstar Funding. I just closed on my first house yesterday. Beforehand, I was shopping around for the best possible rate. Every lender I spoke to, which was a lot of different ones, all offered me a rate between 3.25 and 3.50. I tried Northstar because I Googled them and saw the great reviews, so I figured I'd give them a try. I dealt with a gentleman named Jess Silva. He was THE BEST! He got me a great rate, lower then anyone else at 3%. He beat the next best lender by a quarter. Other lenders told me that it was not possible when they heard the rate I got after I told them I was doing business with someone else. They said to me "oh, he must know something I don't know, because I've been doing this a long time, and 3% is impossible right now." They spoke to me in a sarcastic and condescending tone, trying to make me second guess my decision to go with Northstar, implying that I was being lied to, and there were going to be all these hidden fees. Well, let me tell you, I was not lied to. Jess was a man of his word. And clearly he is better at his job then a lot of these other guys out there. Not only that, but my closing cost were cheaper then I anticipated. My attorney at closing even told me, "wow, great rate." And they have no affiliation with one another. Do yourself a favor. Call Northstar Funding and ask for Jess Silva. I promise you, you will be glad you did. Thank you Jess Silva and Northstar Funding!

We originally did a construction loan. We were looking for a bank to help us get out out of that loan once the construction was complete. We went to multiple places and no one could help us. We found Joe from Northstar and he was able to help. The process was simple and smooth.

Business Purpose loan is not commercial, by your new admission, right? Joseph M Pisa! Don’t make me go public on your deceptive practices. You are already denying a bad act. The only good thing about you was your former Michael Gathercole. I insist on ONE STAR because there is no less. This is one mortgage company that will never live up to its financial obligations and promises to commercial loans third parties. It is a bait and switch operation, and a scam. Be very very careful dealing with this company. Run before you get duped!!!

WOW, please do not give this place your information or business. We submitted an application to Northstar Funding last year but went with another company in the end. Today they contacted us saying a new application had been submitted this morning (including sensitive details, our SSN, etc.). We asked the rep to verify that the application had been submitted today and they confirmed but were going to double check with IT. Thinking we were victims of identity theft, we contacted all our financial intuitions, submitted a report to the FTC, only to find out that it was a complete error by Northstar Funding's reps. Reckless practices, slow follow up time, please don't give them your info.

I've been working with Joseph and his team for on multiple mortgage deals and every time they surprise me by outperforming their previous amazing work! Where to begin with my Christmas miracle. I was buying a house for my wife as a Christmas gift. I am a very busy guy that wants things done fast and easy.
