I have been with Prospera 3-4 years and absolutely love it! I have used several of their products over the years and recommend them every time. However, it was my last two visits to the Grand Chute branch that triggered this review. My children and I worked with Grant to set up accounts for the kids and he was nothing short of amazing!!! Friendly, knowledgeable and he really made us feel welcomed. Propsera, thank you for the Grand Chute branch but most importantly, thank you for Grant - who treated my kids like they mattered as well.

When I first became a customer for Prospera credit union I believed in them and what they offered. I even did their commercial as well as my children. Now that I’ve been there over a year and they have not taken care of one thing that I have had issues with, such as charges on my credit card one that we’re not authorized! My daughter referred her father to Prospera and he referred me there and I referred my son who refinanced his vehicle there at that time we were told that we would all receive $50 as an incentive for each referral had it not been for my daughter being a customer there already she would never have referred her father and he would never have referred me and someone however it’s been over a year and none of us have ever seen that $50 incentive yet and I’ve called multiple times!!! It seems Prospera is quick to take money from you but not to keep their word!!! Now that I’m looking into buying a home I always thought I would do that through Prospera and I won’t be doing that anymore.

I have been a member for over five years dating back to 2011. I had an instance in July of 2017 where I called a week ahead of time to sign up for check deposits via the iPhone app. It’s the system where you take a photo of the front and back of your check and they are supposed to deposit it. I took the steps I needed to take to sign up and they said I was good to go. One week later, I was out of town, while I was out of town I knew I was going to be paid by a client. This is a check I needed to deposit immediately as my account was running low, which is why I signed up the week prior. When the day came to deposit my check via the app, it did not work. I called Prosera and the people I talked to told me the lady in charge of app deposits was on vacation. There was nothing they could do; they were so sorry. I heard, "I'm sorry" over and over, that's it. No resolution. No customer support. They made me feel as if I was inconveniencing them. I was stuck out of town with very little money because of this. Luckily for me, the bank my client issued the check from was able to cash it. Following up, Prospera never did. Prospera never did anything to write this wrong. I am sure after I post this they will apologize in the comments because their public image is taking a hit by this and they want to act like they care. They don't. This isn’t the first time I was let down by Prosera. In the Spring of 2017 in went in for an auto loan ... they approved me for, $5000. Yes. Seriously. $5000. I will admit that my credit score is not flawless. There are some flaws on it .. so to add, I had a back-up co-signer with a +816 credit score if I needed it. Still, only $5000 was what they approved. Talk about being insulted. I really was. I went to Bergstrom this past fall and I got approved on a $35,000 loan on my own. I am so happy with my loan and new car, but no thanks to Prospera Credit Union. Prospera didn't take me seriously because I am an entrepreneur. If you're looking for a place to keep your money and do basic ATM stuff they are great. But if you're an entrepreneur looking for a financial institution to have your back, they are not the place to keep your money. Also, if you don’t keep a certain amount in your business account every month they penalize you with a small fee.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! I would give 0 stars if I could. I called last Saturday about a loan and a week later still have not heard anything back. I called multiple times trying to get in contact with someone and always either got a voicemail or was told they were too busy to talk to me. Called Unison Credit Union and got the loan and was signing for it in 3 hours.

I think Don Coopman severely undervalued my property while doing an appraisal for Prospera. Seems like a reccurring theme based on reviews I've read online. Google has Coopman Appraisal LLC listed as permanently closed. But Prosepra told me today, Don is one of their "preferred appraisers." Sketchy, seems like an attempt to avoid negative reviews. So I'm reviewing him here. If I ever do another loan with Prospera and Donald Coopman is the appraiser I will cancel immediately. Other than that, I like Prospera. The staff is always friendly and its convenient. 5 stars for Prospera. 0 stars for Coopman Appraisal LLC.

Excellent. A few questions over the phone, approved, picked up van at the dealer. I've never had such an easy time with a loan and the interest rate beat CFCU, as well as a 48/mo vs 36/mo. Thanks Mike!

Worst customer service ever... this bank is the lowest of banks... save yourself time and your money. Bank else where
