Here’s the thing with Pawn America LOANS; They are a professional, well established chain who’ve survived some rough economic times including being forced to close many stores just a couple years ago but the ones remaining maintain their lasting TRUE great reputation. I’m confident the bad reviews here are from people THINKING they have an item of value worth far more than it is & of course get mad. Pawn America has a very simple consistent dependable system; For example, go onto eBay locate your item & search sold & completed… look at the condition of your item compare it to all the others that have sold and shipped recently and knock 50% off sometimes if it’s a truly valuable firearm item etc. they will go at 70% of what it sells for… They have to make money and this is pretty much exactly what they do everywhere it is not that they are jerks it is not even there issue if you know their system and follow it accordingly you will be very happy with the pawn loans. Just because you think you put Exemouth of dollars into some thing or you think it should be worth more does not mean that’s what the market value is. All pawnshops basically do this but I can tell you only pawn America does it consistently and dependably and you can be rest assured you’re dealing with the equivalent of a AAA or a plus rated business akin to a blue chip stock when investing, etc. I don’t mean to make this review so long I just want to make it clear the pawn game/industry is The only way you can get instant cash for your item right banana now and of course you’re not gonna get full retail they have to make money and a minimum of an average of 30% profit company wide so when you think about it pawn America is your safest place to go and most dependable sure there might be some small shop somewhere that might give you a better deal if so I’ll go for it otherwise if you want to go somewhere where you know you’ll be taken care of you know the terms are black and white and you know and can count on how your experiences going to work then you can’t go wrong it is the only place that I will go and I highly recommend them as long as you have the proper knowledge and attitude about it I will add they do offer great deals on electronics, guns especially and great hard to find unique high quality niche items & such for sale in store and you can be rest assured the items are quality and they will stand behind it as much or like even more than any and every other pawnshop… More likely MORE because they’re a chain and they’re established and they don’t want to go out of business and they likely are not going to… therefore you can be rest assured when using or shopping from Pawn America. Ask for Jay if you have a high value, quality item to loan against - he will treat you great & straightforward & do basically exactly as I say above just know how to value your item before going in.

Stopped in here while I was in town just to see the selection, and Casey D was AMAZING with customer service! She was so easy to talk to and so nice! She gave me all the information I needed and made the experience so good. Will definitely be back!

I've been to multiple pawn shops around the area and Pawn America is one of the most expensive ones out of the bunch. They overprice a lot of there products and give you little cash for the stuff you do sell to them. I remember a few years back Pawn America used to be great the store was huge so much variety of things to to buy and they had great deals but now the store has gotten way smaller and the prices have skyrocketed. If you see 5 star reviews it's because they ask customers to give good reviews for discounts when they are about to check out.

Matt the store manager was extremely helpful with my husband and I. We were looking at hand guns and I was going to by a certain one for my myself. I can’t lift my arm very high and Matt pointed us to a different gun which was lighter and a better option for me.

Friendly and helpful staff! Went in knowing what I wanted and walked out with the product AND more knowledge about it. Jewelry counter is beautifully displayed. I will definitely be coming back!

I have been coming here since 2014 and I always have great experience. Fast service and friendly people. I have been helped by Matt on. A few occasions and he is very personable and a great asset.

Matt helped me the few times I came there. Prices always seem fair. Everyone is always so nice and helpful and the process to pawn you're item is soo smooth.i would recomnd any of my friends here! This is the only place i go to when i need to pawn something!! Shout out to Matt thank you!

Every time I come here, the staff, Liz and Matt bring smiles, and awesome customer service. I am a regular customer and because of how well the treat me, this is the only pawn broker I go to in the area. Also, I have found they give the absolute maximum value vs. the competition. Kudos!

Jordan was very personable, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He explained things to me I didn't realize was important for what I bought. If you're going in...ask for him! You'll be so glad you did because he will not push you into buying something that you don't want to buy, but...he will give you all the information you need to make an informed decision.

I’ve been a customer of pawn America for several years, and when I walk into the Appleton store I am always welcomed by great staff. When browsing the store I always am able able to find great priced items. The staff are very welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly. Great customer service is what keeps me coming back to buy more and recommending this shop to my friends/family.

This is the ONLY pawn shop I will go to in the area. I live in De Pere and still drive to Appleton just to go to this location. Every experience and interaction with the staff whether it’s purchasing an item or selling is super positive. Their pricing is very fair when selling. I’ve personally only really sold jewelry and in my opinion they are the best place to go to for reasonable offers. Thank you guys for running a reputable and honest business!!!

Had a couple guns I wanted to sell. Took to Scheels for a quote and figured why not try Pawn America. Matt at Pawn America was very knowledgeable about firearms. They paid significantly more for my guns! Will go here to sell firearms from now on.
