Great people, awesome dogs , high prices! Cash America sold me a gun for 199.00the same gun at prices Buster's they wanted 275 I do buy from them though because they always have what your looking for . And Gus is awesome !

Staff is nice, selection seems good on a lot of things, prices....well they're high. Very high in fact. I once saw something there that was pawned, but they were asking more than I could order it online for brand new. Not kidding. I have bought one thing there, and they came down a bit, but it still wasn't what I'd call "pawn shop pricing". Overall a good place, just too expensive a lot of the time.

I did not like the fact that we had a Star Wars special edition laptop to sell and they'd only give us $110 because it was windows 7. For whatever reason it was I was being told by them it was a windows 7 but when I bought it I swear it was windows 10 like damn I even brought the box where it came in only used twice for Skype and they still didn't want to give us more than $110? They obviously don't know how much stuff is actually worth. It would be awesome to have the extra money but I'm not desperate either. I hated this experience. Don't want to go back in where some lady is just mad dogging me and some guy trying to rip me off.

Super nice people working here, and had a great experience! They seem to really value and treat customers well. Prices seemed reasonable too on all their items.

Like the last reviewer said. Negotiable prices, great service, locally owned. This is THE place to go for tools. If someone pawns a toolbox full of tools, you don't have to buy the whole thing because they have everything separated for you. Need just one socket without paying for an entire set? This is the place.

I have shopped here for many years.Ron and his wife are great people.If you need a specific tool or gun you will find a clean and fair price here.They don't pawn or loan on junk.They don't buy suspicious stuff from unsavory individuals.Also remember that if you buy a gun or tool here it is much safer than say craigs list because all items are required to be reported to APD to see if they were reported stolen. Don't expect to find a 500 dollar thing here priced for 50 bucks.They know what things are worth.For those deals go to cash America,formally cash Alaska.they only hire children to run there counter and sales. One of the last real pawn brokers left in this state.

I have been going here from the day they opened and have always been treated great. If they can help you out with a loan they will. Great prices and not the "I just want your money". These guys will help you find what you are looking for if they can.

Best pawn shop in all of Alaska. The staff are always very helpful and professional. I have made multpile transactions with them, never any problem.

Not bad prices on tools and they work with me on some deals here and there.
