They are not at all concerned about the safety of their costumers. During the test drive of my vehicle, the tire light went on. I asked if there was an issue with the tires and the salesman said all of the bad tires had been replaced. Within a month, I had a leaky tire that needed replaced and I got a flat tire driving down the freeway. If they lied about something as basic as tires I am nervous to see what they are comfortable being dishonest about. As a single women that went to buy a vehicle alone, I would warn others: be prepared to be tricked. During signing, I was reviewing the paperwork to approve payment and I caught the salesman trying to overcharge me almost a grand with a bogus add on charge. I could not believe the dishonesty. I got my car checked out by a friend who said I was taken advantage of and definitely over paid. Other than having to replace tires and breaks, the car seems to be okay. Would not recommend to anyone to get your car here, and will not be going back myself.

The Preferred Ford sales agent, Shay Strickland, responded quickly to greet my wife and me at the Dealership's front door. I said hello, I'm looking for a vehicle that will be more than able to tow a 2020 Airstream Classic 30 foot travel trailer. She immediately began combing through available inventory that would work for us. Shay presented us with details of a 2022 F-150 that seemed to check all the boxes so we took it for a test drive. Shay checked charts to make sure that the axle ratio of the vehicle we would test drive was matched to our tow needs. The test drive went well; we were impressed with the vehicle's performance and atmosphere. Upon return from the test drive, we were introduced to the new car sales manager, Kenny Young, who listened to our needs for a good tow vehicle for towing an Airstream 30 foot Clasic travel trailer - even through mountainous terrain. He claimed that he had vast experiences towing trailers in all kinds of terrain, and assured me that the F150 we took for a test drive would be perfectly fine given that the trailer would have the proper hitch arrangement. We appreciated his input; it helped with our decision to purchase that vehicle. Finance manager, Tony Smith, greeted us and walked us through financing and some optional add-0ns for the purchase of the vehicle. He explained everything to us pertaining to financing the vehicle. He did a good job. This was a Friday. We were scheduled for a service appointment for the following Monday to have an anti-corrosion device installed under the hood. All in all, we had a pleasant experience making our purchase and taking delivery of the vehicle. For vehicles to run well and last a long time, we understand that service appointments need to be scheduled from time to time. Because we were treated so well during our purchase experience, we look forward with optimism for future service needs be met via your service department. Regards, Harold M. Lorey

Bought a 2015 F150 from this dealer a few weeks ago and discovered it had two major pre-existing issues. Issue 1: the truck was making an extremely loud wind whistling noise before I bought it. The sales person drove it and told me it was normal. Took it home and a local mechanic said it's not. Took the truck back and they had a tech diagnose it and he told me with "98 certainty" that fixing the windshield would resolve the issue. So I did. It didn't fix the issue and it cost me $475. The dealer wouldn't cover this. Turns out, the noise was being caused by the aftermarket antenna that was on the truck. The antenna base was stripped, so the entire mounting system had to be replaced to fix it. The techs from the service department did so but left several deep scratch marks on the truck near the antenna base and never told me about it. They covered the cost of the antenna replacement itself, but I believe that it should have been done before the vehicle left the lot. This is because I mentioned the wind noise before buying the truck but was told it was normal. I then took the truck to a detailing shop to fix the scratches they recently left but they're too deep to remove. Even after the detail work they're clearly visible. So now they're just apart of the truck and I'm $475 in the hole for the windshield and $200 for the detail work. Issue 2: The truck made a very annoying, high-pitched squealing/squeaking noise over ever sewer cap, bump, or crack in the road since I bought it. I told the service department about it and they said they fixed it the first time I took it in (during the wind noise diagnosis trip). Got it back, wasn't fixed. Had it dropped off there again for 3 days and they couldn’t figure out how to fix it. The techs confirmed that the noise is not normal for any aged vehicle, yet I was told by an advisor and the GM that I wasn't "taking into consideration" that the truck is 7-years-old and won't be "perfect". The age and mileage of a vehicle does not excuse any abnormal noise it makes. I’ve driven many cars older than my truck and owned an older truck before and none of them made any noise like this. Service department never got back with me about the issue. They are very difficult to get in touch with in general and don't provide regular updates. You have to reach out to them if you want an update on your car when it’s there. On top of that, Brandon sounds irritated over the phone for no reason, which doesn’t help. I later discovered on my own that the noise was being caused by something near the truck bed latches. Every bump was causing some two pieces of metal to rub together causing it. I lubed up all of the latches/metal areas I could access and haven't heard a peep since. Update: The dealer reached out to me after reading my review and covered the $675 repair costs. Everything has been resolved and I am a satisfied customer.

Got my Subaru from Ducky earlier this year and my husband's Subaru over 3 years ago and had an amazing easy peasy experience both times. I was looking to replace my damaged vehicle and I had the best experience with Ducky. I purchased at another dealership and it turns out the car was previously in some sort of flood or damp area and it was not drivable at all. I was upside-down on my loan, too, so it was not ideal. I had the BEST experience working with Big Josh at Preferred Ford! And he was actually referred to me by a friend of mine who had purchased a vehicle from Big Josh. My mom came along on a couple of test drives and she, too, found Big Josh "delightful." I ended up with the coolest 2020 Ford Ranger and made a friend! I also have to mention how Big Josh came to my rescue on Christmas Eve: I was driving down a steep single lane road in Shore Acres, GH and found it covered in black ice. I, foolishly, hadn't taken the time beforehand to really get to know my truck and how it handled in different situations. But my own personal Santa came to the rescue! I called Josh and he came right over! He got both me and my dog safely to the bottom of the hill. Thanks, Big Josh! I'll definitely go back to Josh and Preferred Ford when it's time for a new vehicle.

DO NOT GO THERE TO FIX YOUR FORD! Worst service I have ever experienced. My car was never fixed during my warranty period (couldn't find the issue or couldn't fix it). Once my warranty expired they charged me twice to fix that issue they couldn't fix before. And guess what, that didn't even fix the issue. The last time I brought it they refused to cover the cost so I declined the repair, they tried to tell me their is some restocking fees... I still paid the cost for them to diagnose the issue... And guess what, they still went forward with the repair that I didn't approve! When I challenges the service manager he admitted, he said he wanted to be done with my car and not have to deal with it anymore. I reported this to the regional customer service manager who basically couldn't do anything without me taking the risk to spend more money. My car is still not fixed, but I guess I won't buy ford again or recommend ford. (Disclaimer all Ford employees were very nice and respectful, with the exception of the (new-ish) service manager who was rude and unprofessional - a lot more to say... Even hang up on me).

I bought my VW Passat from Preferred Ford last month. I have mostly good things to say. The salesman, Ducky, I worked with was exceptional. He was honest with me about a few minor cosmetic damages(nothing I can't live with) Any questions I asked, he answered to the best of his ability. The finance gentleman was polite and thorough. Very good atmosphere. Now to the bad. I bought this car as is and I know what that entails. However, the front and back brakes were shot. I planned on upgrading to better calipers, rotors, pads anyways so this was not the end of the world for me. But I feel that, this is something that should have been taken care of before the car hit the lot. Not everyone is looking to drop more money on a car they just bought just to drive safely. I would probably return for a new purchase when that time comes.

I was unpleasantly surprised, that after an oil change and a tire rotation, on my way home my air pressure light turns on. So even though they said that they did their point checks, nobody checked the air pressure in my tires. I called them back and alerted them to this. I will go back, but I am definitely going to be watching, since my trust has diminished. Update. So Preferred called me based on my review and apologized. They gave me a free oil change. This I did yesterday and they honored it, but, again, I double checked what they told me. After they changed my oil, they told me I needed a new air filter and my battery was low and if I wanted to add that. Well since now I am suspicious, I said no. I did my own check: yes I need an air filter, so they were telling the truth there. On the battery that is more grey. I tested with my multimeter and it showed fully charged, but I know I need to do a load test to see if any cells are bad. So I took it to the parts store and had them do a load test with me watching. Battery good! So, no, I did not need a battery. Alas! If you bring your vehicle there, and I am not saying you should not, just make sure you second opinions.

It was an awesome day when my wife told me her friend worked at Preferred Ford and had some cars for me to look at. Being the first car I've ever leased I was nervous and unsure. We arrived and met Ducky, who happened to be a friend of mine from back in grade school. I instantly felt a relief. He is an awesome salesman, not pushy or overbearing like most car dealerships are. We looked at a Subaru Forester and was only a couple years old at the time. It was a fleet car and was very well taken care of. We were able to get with his loan officer and take the car home the same day. Its been over 3 years and I am so grateful that we were able to reconnect in a way that benefit both of us. Ducky is the Best! When entertaining the idea of a Transit for the company he took care of all our concerns and showed what it would take to get into a new, and used option that suited our needs. In the end knowing we would use this as a daily driver too he suggested we go with truck and trailer... so we ended up going a different route all together with an F150 and separate trailer. Great recommendation!

I purchased from Preferred Ford, and had Ducky for my salesperson. Ducky was very easy to work with as he followed up texts and emails almost immediately. I was also pleased that there was not a lot of pressure like is felt sometimes at a dealership. Preferred will be where I go back to for future vehicles. They are out of the way for me but the customer service is worth it.

We had a great experience with Josh at Preferred. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and worked hard to find us something that would fit in our budget. Unfortunately, when we put our cat seats in the one we thought would be perfect, it didn't work out and at that time we're unable to purchase a larger vehicle...but even though he didn't make a sale he continued to try and help! Josh has been like family now for the better part of 4 years. Even when I had not purchased my car from Preferred, I began taking it there for service and Josh was always there to stop and talk and just be an all around genuine guy. When it came time to buy again I knew Josh was the only one who I wanted to get my vehicle from. I was looking for a vehicle and Rob Layton took his time and showed me around the car lot, even though I was not ready to buy. Rob has a vast knowledge of vehicles. He listened to what I was looking for and didn't pressure me to get any vehicles. Would not return to buy another vehicle. Helpful and pushy staff if you are buying a vehicle. Lack of communication. Test drove a few vehicles, let them know that they pulled when driving, low tire?, Was told they were going to have mechanic check it out. Finally did purchase, kept asking about the pulling and it never got checked out until I was picking it up.

Working with Taylor Henkel (now retired) my leasing experience was fantastic, which is why I gave it two stars. However, my latest experience with this dealership and their service department will cost them a returning customer. I brought in my 2019 F150, currently under warranty, due to my splash shield ripping off of the bracket. I had to hang it back to the frame to keep it from ripping off completely. I was told that this repair would not be covered under my warranty at this dealership and blamed for the damage but another dealership had already told me it would be covered as the splash shields are defective and it is a common occurrence with the design. Thus, Preferred quoted me $200+ dollars for a part and an hours worth of work to replace a faulty shield that is covered under my bumper to bumper warranty and can be replaced in under 5 minutes. Wanting to contine to work with my leasing dealership, I contacted the GM about this issue. Despite multiple phone calls on my part, over the month of August and being told the part would be order, service scheduled, at their cost, I have not been contacted since to have this repaired. I will not be returning to this dealership for any future car purchases, leases, services or repairs. I have since had my splash shield repaired, under warranty, by a different Ford dealership, whom I will be working with for any future purchases, repairs or issues.
