Mr. Coleman approved! Our salesmen Austin is a stand up guy. I told him upfront I was very cautious about buying from the dealership. He said he understands. I told him what I wanted and he order exactly what I wanted. It was a long wait due to production issues but it was well worth it. Even the pup gave him a high 5! My only regret is not getting the 6.2. I miss the rumble of the 6.2 cold start. 😂 Everything went smooth. Best car buying experience ever!!! Thank you again Austin and staff!!!

My fiancee and I just purchased a Tahoe from Austin in used cars. Our situation was unique due to living 2 hours away. I found the Tahoe online, and heard from Austin immediately. He was extremely patient with timing, and left no stone unturned when answering all of the annoying questions I asked via text. When delivery day came, unbeknownst to me, it was Austins day off but he came in specifically just to take care of us. Finance was fast, signing was faster, and we couldnt be more happy with this experience. Although we live two hours away, we will most certainly be calling Austin for our purchases going forward.

We purchased a used car from Preferred and in 30 years of buying cars it was the best experience we ever had. Austin went above and beyond at every step to make it easy. I had no idea they had a concierge service, which they used to drop off and pick up the car at our mechanic for an inspection. I have been very disappointed with the lack of communication immediately following the purchase of our vehicle. We love our car (2017 Chevy Volt) but we were given extremely limited information about our warranty and that was my first red flag. For context, we live about an hour away from the dealership. The dealership was notified a week prior to our appointment that we would need a loner car if we needed to leave our car there for any length of time and it was confirmed that they would have a car available. Also, when making our appointment the dealership was given specific information about the codes our car was throwing so they could prepare whatever was needed. Now today, my husband arrives to his appointment and is met with the information that not only is this a dire issue and the car will need to stay at the shop for a few days, but they have no loner vehicles. Since he can not get a ride back home easily he was told we would have to reschedule for a time were he could get a ride back home. So now, he is on his way home driving a car with an immediate service issue and is just told that we need to schedule another appointment and good luck? Absolutely not. We will no longer be giving any business to this dealership and will be working independently through our warranty. This is also the second vehicle I have purchased through this dealership and I am appalled by their lack of planning and professionalism. I do not expect to walk on rose petals here, but as a returning customer I absolutely expect more. I fully understand and empathize with supply chain and understaffing issues, but that is why I called a week ahead to work on getting a plan together for a loner car. This is not acceptable customer service, this is just obnoxious.

I did not have the best experience here. My husband and I went to look at a van and after hiring sitters and driving an hour we got there only to find out the “check engine” light was on and it needed some repairs. They were willing to do the repairs which would be no big deal however, the salesman knew about the check engine light long before we got there. We drove the van and it drove terrible because of the problem. Maybe I am expecting too much, but had he called and let us know we would have come the day it was fixed instead. It felt like a waste of time, money, and energy. Other than that they had good inventory with decent prices and are willing to barter a bit. The salesman was kind and knowledgeable I just had a bit of a bad taste after that. We ended up going elsewhere, but I’m not opposed to going there again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!!! Just bought a used truck from these crooks, drove 5 hours from 2 states away to get the vehicle... Did all the paperwork, drove 5 hours home... And the very first night got a check engine light, took it to my mechanic, come to find out is has a exhaust leak, a transmission leak, and is basically unsafe to drive... Of course they won't do anything to fix or remedy the situation, so I'm stuck with a $25,000 paperweight because I can't drive it, and I can't even plate it because it keeps throwing check engine lights... The warranty I got with the vehicle (which I was basically pressured into by a lower interest rate) does not cover this... and I haven't even made my first payment yet!! This all happened within the first 30 days of the purchase!!! I have kids, and this is absolutely unacceptable... If I could go lower then a 1 star I would, not even worthy of a star!

First of all - I am not fond of sales people & it takes a lot to impress me. I had an awesome experience buying a used Pilot from Tasi Forgwe!! Tasi was awesome - he communicated well - he was nice & helpful - he took care of what I needed immediately. He made sure the car was ready for me. I felt like he valued me not just my business. Tasi wanted to make sure that I was a satisfied customer & I am!! The customer service that he gave me is hard to come by but it renewed my faith - I have recommended him to others. In purchasing the Pilot, I was there on 3 different occasions & Tasi was always busy & now I know why : ) I highly recommend Tasi!!

Came in as I spoke with Mike on the phone and via text. I was informed that they would purchase my Chevy Silverado for 42k REGARDLESS of trading in or selling direct to the dealer. Once we started the process, they said that they would not purchase the truck for 42K. BAIT AND SWITCH?They made me purchase a vehicle to get out of my truck. The vehicle purchased is a Mazda CX-9. Within 10 days of owning the vehicle, the blower motor goes out, the vehicle has an extensive leak inside of the vehicle (they say the drains for the windshield need to be blown out for $400) and they will not cover it. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.

Overall, had a very positive experience. Only issue with this service visit was that I needed alternative transportation while my vehicle was being repaired. I requested arrangement for a loaner car while making my appointment, then again at the time I dropped my vehicle off, and once more on the afternoon of the second day. Only courtesy I received was the shuttle ride home. Eventually, I finally was able to get a loaner. I still had a very good experience and everyone at the dealership treated me professionally, with respect and was very friendly.

One of the worst experiences I ever had at a dealership in my 32 yrs of buying cars! They had the car a month after only driving for 7days. They ended up having to send to another shop to figure out the issue. Come to find out it was something they did when first getting car in. Absolutely the worst on getting updates on vehicle. Total lack of communication.

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone! I drove an hour and a half to look at a car, even had an appointment and was asked to come in a little later to accommodate the dealership and the car we wanted was sold out from underneath us as we were waiting for the keys to drive the car. Very disappointed at the terrible customer service.

We drove onto the lot just a couple of hours before they closed for the weekend, but Kaleb was friendly and happy to help. He reviewed our needs and budget and came up with a list of about 6 cars that fit. He talked about the features of each, had us pick a couple to look at first. He literally ran to each car to bring them up front for us so that we didn’t have to wander around the parking lot, and while we were driving, he made sure someone in financing would stay to help us. Once we made a decision, he helped us every step of the way, making sure we didn’t leave the lot without understanding the features on our car. At no point did we feel pressured to make a purchase or to purchase something out of our price range, and offered a great interior protection package to keep our leather seats looking good. I will definitely be back when it’s time for our next purchase, there’s no one else I’d rather buy a car from. He made us feel welcome even when it was time to go home, valued by working quickly without making us feel rushed, confident in our purchase, and prepared to drive off the lot with all the fancy technology in our Ford Escape.

I don't usually write reviews, but I want to recognize one of your sales guys, his name was Barry Dickson, he's the one with the cute accent. We were probably the worst customers, we turned up close to closing but he never once made us feel rushed, he made us feel that we had all the time in the world to make a decision. He listened to everything that we wanted and we never felt pressured into anything. I just finished up purchasing a new truck from Preferred. I contacted them on a Saturday and they made time for us to stop in and view the truck we were interested in, adjusting their schedules to accommodate ours while we were in town. Matt (Sales Manager) took my initial call and told me to come on in and they would be ready for our visit, even though we had no appt. The truck was ready and waiting for and we were introduced to Mike Heater as our sales consultant. Mike was very pleasurable and knew his stuff. He took time to answer all of our questions and made sure my wife and daughter were comfortable while we worked through everything. Being from we were out of town Mike and his team worked hard to allow us to take the truck home without having to make a separate trip. Mike and Matt's efforts were outstanding and I appreciate them very much. Scott in Finance was also very friendly and knowledgeable through that part of the process and made the financing end feel comfortable and smooth, all in a very timely manner. All in all, everyone we interacted with that day made us feel welcome, like we were an important client and we left satisfied. This is truly appreciated. I have worked with this dealership in the past, 4-5 years ago and swore I would never set foot back in the dealership again. It is obvious there has been some changes here and the experience was 180 degrees from what I experienced previously and am glad I stopped in. I would certainly recommend them to friends and family.

Loved the retro Chevrolet sign and the welcoming atmosphere of this place. The staff was super professional and helpful. The two gentleman named Austin and Brett who helped us were incredibly patient and thoroughly answered any of our questions or concerns. They even stayed after closing to help us! No one ever tried to upsell us a vehicle. We knew the vehicle we wanted before we got there and they even held it for us so no one else could buy it. Everything was fairly priced and both of them really went the extra mile to help us out and I couldn't thank them enough for all they did for us. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone if you're in the market to buy a car. Definitely satisfied with my purchase!

I came with my wife to start the truck looking process. We were greeted on the lot by one of your sales guys called Barry Dickson. My experience with this dealership was incredible! They had exactly what I was looking for. The salesman thoroughly explained and demonstrated features available on the vehicle before the test drive. During the test drive, a great amount of time was spent allowing me to test the vehicle in both a highway and residential setting so I could get a full range of the vehicle’s capabilities. In the end, the dealership and its staff provided an efficient, professional, and friendly experience that will have me returning time and again.

Very long story, but here are the highlights. Will never purchase from this dealer again. Starters, we purchased a three-quarter ton fully loaded diesel truck from them in 2018. That experience went well. Come late fall of 2021 we were shopping as a family to replace the truck we purchased along with a second one for my father. Both again, fully loaded top of the line trucks. We went in and they had both a white and black one that we wanted on order and coming in. They honored the GM Family discount, provided paperwork and took a deposit. From there it was NOTHING but HORRIBLE service. 1) Next day we get a call they sold us the wrong write truck. The one they gave to us was already claimed. So, we took a different one they had coming in. Few different options and not the same white, but we let it go. 2) Few days later we found that the black one they sold to us had the wrong interior color in it. We were very clear we wanted all black. Went back and forth for a few days trying to see if it could be changed or if a different truck was an option. We really wanted to purchase through Preferred after the positive experience in 2018. 3) While still looking into options for a black one, and willing to order and wait, the white one comes in. And then they refuse to honor the pricing they provided in all the paperwork. The general sales manager didn't even have the decency to call us. He put it all on his sales rep. This is absolutely no way to treat anyone, let alone a repeat customer, a younger family who they could have had multiple sales from over the years or another GM family. Absolutely appalling a business would provide paperwork, make an agreement and then back out. Two 80k sales were theirs to be had. Needless to say, Tinny of Greenville and Benton Baker of Hudsonville took care of us. We both have beautiful trucks, the ones we wanted and were honored the GM discount. Again, this is the highlights. Other things took place, including dishonesty. I will NEVER go to this dealership again.

Although things happen that are out of our control and may be unforseen such as employees getting sick and calling into work cutlets should not have to call and check the progress of their vehicles. I dropped my truck off at 530am to be serviced and had to ask for a loner vehicle so I could get home and to work the next day, which was also on empty. I understand that these thing happen and are out of our control but letting the customer know, especially when they call to check the progress and you tell them you'll call them back, would be a huge step in the right direction.

Although my new vehicle had some paint imperfections upon arrival, Preferred stepped up and is making this right. I appreciate them taking ownership for this, and working quickly to remedy this for me. I had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Austin, Scott, Spencer! I called Austin with very specific requests when it came to my test drive and car selection, and he made the entire process so easy, and made sure my car was full of gas when I bought it for my drive home! My appointment was supposed to be a simple oil change, your mechanic forgot to tighten the oil filter, had oil all over my garage floor the next morning, had to take time off from work, drive back to your dealership, I'm not from the local area, all that to tighten the oil filter, had to wait an hour for that kind or service, very disappointed, just lost a customer, a repost, problem fixed at preferred Chevy, compensated well for the mistake, made me feel like a valued customer, all is good

Brought my 2020 truck in for an oil change and smell of antifreeze thinking that a technician would diagnose the antifreeze smell and it never saw a technician and quick lube thru dye in it and tried to charge me for the dye when it's most likely a warranty issue, When asked why no pressure test was done to look for a leak, there was no answer. I was told to drive it and bring back to look for leak at next oil change. They even had to add coolant, to me this was unacceptable and then told to just drive it.

We have purchased two used vehicles from Preferred in the last two years, and both have been great for us. Our sales agent Ben was courteous, patient, showed us many options, just awesome (thank you). There has been a couple of times when we have had small normal issues (warranty and other) and each time they have been courteous and helpful. Both the 2008 Ford Escape and the 2014 Chevy Silverado have services performed through their service departments and so far are awesome as well. This winter the Ford had been in an accident and we had our repairs completed at Preferred, and with just a few "hiccups" that department was great to work with as well. Would not recommend. Charged us 90% over original quote even though we specified what needed to be done. They tried to charge us over $600 for replacing the lug nuts
Unfortunately, as your after market rims caused this to be a more complicated job than it normally would have been that required a special tool and considerable man hours, it did raise the cost when the job was completed last year. Was in the grand haven area for our honeymoon and our vehicle threw a code. Had it checked out at the auto parts store down the way and found out what needed to be replaced. Called the couple different repair shops in town and was offered a 9:20 am appointment the next day at preferred after explaining how we were checking out of our hotel and needed to get this done rather rapidly. Other shops were the following week and wouldn’t work for our schedule. Showed up promptly at 9 am to try and get their early and the process started. It was a simple repair in my mind (45 minutes with the part being in stock) but I understand shops being I work in one. It wasn’t until right before their lunch (12:15) that our vehicle was finally getting looked at and diagnosed since they needed to do their own diagnosis and not trust an outside report, which I get and understand. The young girl was very apologetic and told us we would have an update roughly a half an hour later. Skip ahead hour and a half later, I walked out of the lounge area to see about the update. At 1:25 they said they could do the repair in roughly two hours at a decent rate and since we couldn’t get back into any of the hotels in the area, we were in a bind and had to get it down here. Fast forward to 4:15, sitting in the service lounge for 7+ hours, I walked out to check the status of my vehicle and what do you know, it’s done and the keys are sitting right there. So at 4:35 we were finally able to get into our vehicle and leave. My biggest gripe was how we had been told they had appointments available to get our vehicle right in and diagnosed, yet we were constantly being told time estimates that didn’t ever make out. Don’t take appointments if you don’t have the availability to look at the vehicles at that time. Especially when you have been told multiple times that the customer is kinda stuck and just looking around for help. Not to mention , the service manager could’ve came out and apologized and even just make it look like a professional working service center but the only person who apologized every time she saw us and kept offering courtesy shuttles to somewhere (when we had no where to go) was Jessica. She is a rockstar and a great service representative. Maybe she deserves the big office and not having to apologize to unhappy customers. If I’m ever in the area again and need car repair, I won’t return. I drive a Chevy, I work for Chevy, this was very disheartening to see.
