The first guy we had that ended up quitting part way through our sale was not great. He did not know the product well / options and was not a great communicator. Andy who took over was very knowledgeable and very helpful. However the car we ordered had many changes by the end that was not part of what we ordered - I don't think this was necessarily the dealership fault as they may have been constrained by jeep corporate but they did not make many attempts to make it right. Jeep corporate also made my employer discount a hassle by asking for more information than was required per the website.

I started going to Preferred Jeep for service on Liberty Jet edition. I always had good service, and the gals and guys were always smiling, and working. I joked around with my Salesman from day 1, and told him in the future I am going to buy my next Jeep from him. This week I took possession of my new Jeep. Happy yes, and a new learning experience. How much I love my Jeeps 2 previous Laredos, Liberty, and now my Cherokee. This is my 3rd Dealership because of location changes. Thanks to my Dealership for making this happen, and Chrysler. A few minor things to learn, and my Salesman said he would help.

No sales tactics, no pressuring, no hidden fees, no dealer markups or upcharging. The salesman, Andy, was very knowledgeable of the product and I was able to take my time checking out the vehicle without feeling rushed in anyway. The dealership itself gets high marks for even having a vehicle with a manual transmission in inventory, which seems to be a rarer and rarer find with each passing day. If I wasn’t planning on driving my new vehicle until the wheels fell off, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again.

If you're looking for a place for get your car fixed...this is the place to go. They went above and beyond for me. They had my car ready so fast because they knew my insurance wasn't covering my rental car. They also got me a discount on the rental car. They did a great job fixing my car too..it looks great!

Would give negative stars if I could. Buyer beware!! I purchased a used car in November and 6 days later the engine light came on. They told me "good news" this issue is covered by a Factory Warranty. Then, 2 months after that issue was resolved the engine blew up. Sadly I was 2 weeks beyond my 3 month purchase warranty and was told "their hand were tied". The GM told me that they treat every customer the same - so fair warning!!

I don't usually leave negative reviews but this was something that I have felt the need to share with everyone. First let me say that I purchased a used 2015 Ford Edge Titanium back on April 9th which I feel like I purchased for a fair price. Everything after that was a disaster. First we started at the used car lot where the salesman there had three different glasses sitting on his desk that he kept changing between as he entered my wife's and my information. After misspelling or mistyping our information a few times, 3 applications later, and a red flag notice on our credit for suspected issues we were told we would head to the new car dealership down the road to close. Since we were told that the car was outside of their warranty due to the car having over $100K miles we asked to purchase the extended warranty. We were handed a sales order showing car amount, taxes, document fee, title fees, and down payment for a total of $15,000 unpaid. We were told to wait in the waiting room and that the extended warranty would be added to that $15,000 and that the finance department would go over things with us. After waiting in the waiting area for about a half hour we were taken to the finance room where we were told they could complete the Lake Michigan Credit Union paperwork right there. Guy helping us was nice and personable and acknowledged that they added the extended warranty for us. He stated that the warranty covered whatever went wrong with the car and we had bumper to bumper coverage. They also included for us key protection, and also included for us GAP coverage. The sales order he handed us to sign showed the amount to be financed at $17,997. He then slid the papers in front of us to sign here, here, and here. I should have realized that something was not right when I noticed that there is a camera on the wall that he turned on when we got to the signing portion but was not plugged in when he was explaining things. Realized from the bank that my actual finance amount was $19,197. When he said that they "added for us" what they meant to say was for $500 we added key insurance, and for $2,500 there's the extended warranty, and the GAP "we added for you" of $1,500. Now I may have wanted those things but they were clearly not highlighted beforehand. Paperwork was already printed up and ready for us to sign with those added. Our bank advised that we cancel whatever we could since Lake Michigan Credit Union only charges $500 for GAP coverage. I have left 6 messages now and not one call back. I get it I am on the hook now for what was ultimately financed and I should have read everything very carefully before just signing where indicated. My check engine light has now come on so thank goodness that I have the extended warranty...but hold on. I had to contact the insurance company directly as I do not have a policy number just the brochure that was hastily put into an envelope. What I found out then is that there are different levels to the extended warranty and it is not bumper to bumper coverage. There is the basic engine coverage, powertrain coverage (that's mine), the silver coverage, the gold coverage, and the platinum coverage. So now I have to take my car to a service place that accepts Assurant Extended warranty and hope that whatever is wrong with the car is covered. Ultimately just can't recommend them to my family, friends, or clients with how this whole thing was handled. Had things been made clear and up front I may have still ended up where I am but it seems like they went out of their way to avoid discussing the actual costs. My advice read everything very closely before signing. 5/11/2022 UPDATE: After posting review I was contacted within 24 hrs by the finance person as well as the general manager Chuck. The finance department quickly took care of cancelling the extras that were added and I received the refund today. Appreciated talking to Chuck and he seems interested in the service and experience of the customers and the reputation of the dealership. Thanks for listening Chuck.

We did a trade in on our current vehicle and they gave us a good price on that and found a better apr than our preapproval. They stayed late with us to finish the sale, and since the final inspection couldn’t be done until the morning they came and exchanged the vehicles at my work, which was very helpful. They gave us a full tank of gas and a surprise of all weather floor mats for our new Jeep Wrangler 4xe!! Thanks Buck!!

As far as service goes the service on the vehicle has been good or satisfactory most of the time and they have been accommodating to give rides to work and to pick up when finished even outside of normal operating hours for shuttle . We have had a really bad experience with them recently that has ended with us going back to the dealer we purchased the vehicle from DEUR SPEET . The paint on my front hood was bubbling along the front edge and during a routine oil change mentioned if I could have an estimate done for repair They commented that it was a warranty through Chrysler and that they would take pictures and start a claim and I should hear in a couple months but that the repair list was long as far as wait to get in. I called two months later and never received a call back . I called again a few weeks later , no return call. I left a message for the service manager still no return call. I then stopped in and the service manager retook pictures and said the body shop would follow up with me. Four more calls with no return call later my husband called the Preffered Chevy dealer and spoke to the manager there. That manager called up Chrysler and then Chrysler body shop called and made an appt for my van. But even though under warranty no rental was provided and they would have my car for two weeks . I knew a salesman at Preffered muskegon. He took my case to their body shop . She was nice and called and took over my case . Aparently gh doesn’t do those warranty repairs there . But I was NEVER told that . My warranty would expire in may they said and she didn’t have a warranty advisor on staff but they were trying to get one. She would keep me updated . 2 months went by and may was on the horizon. She had taken new pics and everything . Finally went back to selling dealer DER SPEET and writhing two weeks they had me scheduled. A week later repaired and a 22 keep grand Cherokee to drive here in gh until it was finished no charge to me. I have been contacted when they said in a timeframe less than they said or on time. Above and beyond . I still have not ears back from either gh Preffered with an explination or appology or anything !! Terrible communication and customer service . Never above and beyond . Never going back ! DEUR SPEET IN FREMONT if you want to be treated with respect and honesty and great communications d above and beyond service!!

Previously I wrote that I got a good deal on a Dodge Ram but the price was $3000 too high, well I made a mistake and the price I would have got through Capitol One financing turned out to be almost the same as the price I got through the credit union they recommended. Both of the financing offers turned out to be approximately $21000 give or take a little bit so I am happy!!! I previously wrote only four stars but now I am happy so good job Buck and Derek with Preferred Chrysler. The truck is sweet almost like new, gets uppp!!!! I really like the 5.7L Hemi although it is a bit of a gas guzzler, I am trying to drive it more mellow and see if the mileage improves so far it has, but I have heard the onboard computers make adjustments to the fuel trim if you drive it for a couple of weeks, so I will see if it is better in a couple of weeks, When I first got it, it was so fun to get on it I did it a lot for about a week, now I will drive it sensibly. It is really a pretty color of Blue and nice shiny chrome, rides tight, is fun to drive and gets uppp!! Nice deal. Oh and the Sirius radio with the satellite stations from all over the US is fantastic!! I will always get Sirius radio in my cars in the future if it is still offered, I don't know how I lived without so far. It has some great jazz stations as well as all other genres offfered!! The sound quality is superb!! Really excellent!!

We took our van in for the second time to get transmission fixed. They stated nothing was wrong with transmission. The next day while driving it at home, the transmission was slipping.

Always great service! My vehicle has always been ready in a quick and timely manner. Friendly staff and I don’t feel like they try to sell me on stuff I don’t need to have done on my vehicle. I called ahead to have my keys left in my vehicle since I wouldn’t make it on time before they closed and they forgot to do that, thankfully there were salesmen in the dealership that were able to help find my keys. 5/5 still because we are all human and make mistakes. Went through Prefferred Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Grand Haven after looking for a "new" truck for 3+ weeks. After reaching out to Alex in the beginning of my search and letting him know what I was looking for exactly and that I wasn't going to be married to one dealer (for I wasn't sure what may come up elsewhere), Alex was great! I received updates on their vehicle stock 2-3 times as it was promised to me. This experience was only my third dealership experience I have ever had on my own and I must say it was by far the best experience yet. I really appreciate not being pushed to purchase something and to not be lead in a different direction as other dealerships and salesmen/women may do. Talked to Buck my salesman at 9 in the morning and my new Jeep Gladiator was delivered to my door around 6 that evening. The process was so easy and simple. I would definitely recommend this group to anyone!

Van was there for two weeks for them trying to figure out the problem. The only communication we had with them was from my husband calling or going in. Definitely disappointed with the customer service, and won’t be back for anything other then an oil change.

I first stopped at the used lot down the street from the dealership. He was great! I’m sorry, I don’t remember his name. He stated that he usually buys cars and does not sell them. At the end he told me I needed to go to the dealership lot to sign the paperwork and pay. He told me to ask for Brett. When we got there they brought us to a space to wait. We waited for what to me felt like a half hour. The guy that brought us to the spot we were waiting checked in with us a couple of times. Another guy came in to check with us as well. The whole time I think we were waiting for Brett and he is sitting in another office area chatting it up with the other guys. Finally someone came out and brought us to another room where I signed the paperwork and paid for the car. Then we were sent back to the first cubicle. I’m not sure what we were waiting for. Then another guy came and brought us out to the car. He was in the middle of working with another couple and was in a hurry. The first place we went stated that they would clean the car and fill it up with gas. So when we were brought out to the car, it was still not filled with gas. I also wanted to point out a crack on the back fender that I think should have been fixed before selling. The guy took a picture of the crack and ran back in. And yet another person came by and took the car and filled it with gas. So in all, Brett was never there to help. But there were 5 other guys that helped us in some part of the buying process. I hope that everything was ok and done properly. Not a very good way to sell a car.

The truck I bought was a good deal however the price ended up being $3000 too high as they charged me the finance charge twice in other words they financed the finance charge and the battery tested bad as soon as I got home, the air filter compartment had a few half chewed nuts in it, like a mouse was living in it, the snorkel wasn't even tight, and the passenger window doesn't roll up, like the switch is bad. I get the impression that it must have been traded in and they did nothing to it, to get it ready. That being said it is a nice truck now that I have tended to its needs. Would have given five stars as they did save me a whole percentage point of interest with local financing. And they did seem pleasant to deal with!

In the past I'd always been super happy with the service and respectful treatment from the employees here. Recently I was not. I am unclear if staffing changed or what? Be aware that their text messaging for approval of "total estimated charges" can and will change drastically, ( by hundreds) so screen shots or written estimates are highly recommend. I have proof of 5 different prices but was actually given 7. The manager was argumentative (in my opinion) not making me feel comfortable at all about how everything was handled. Unfortunately I am locked into a service agreement for two more oil changes and then I can be finished with them.

Body shop did a great job & I have no complaints regarding the work done. My only issue was with the office staff that seemed to think that releasing any information regarding progress was a federal crime. Would not give any estimate when car would be finished. Need to retrain office staff regarding customer service and diplomacy.

***UPDATE*** I was contacted by the owner, a day or two after originally posting my disappointment with the company. He did agree that some work on my vehicle was redundant and offered me partial repayment. However this was over 2 weeks ago and I have NOT received that check. I removed a star for that reason, because there is no excuse. I even tried calling the number provided, and it went straight to voicemail. No call back. And this is from the owner??? Very displeased. I was disappointed by the multiple trips to the dealership for the same issue. Makes me wonder if the other things I spent thousands of dollars on even needed to be replaced.

They were a little slow for the oil change. Went in for oil change, check engine light, tire rotation, and a vibration that occurs at de-acceleration around 1100 rpms. They balanced the tires and assumed that to be the cure. Charged me for that in addition to the tire rotation and the vehicle still vibrates. Customer service was good, sales rep was good, shuttle service was great.

As you can see on other reviews, we are known for taking ownership and caring deeply about our customers. We can’t fix the past but you have my personal commitment to improve the way our staff serves every customer. sold me a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with a full green inspection from their service department. I took it to a reputable Jeep dealership, Crown Jeep in Holland, and had it inspected again only to find they misled or flat out lied on their inspection. The radiator had a hole in it and the transfer case was leaking. I asked them to either fix it or pay for it and they refused saying it didnt 'need anything even though i showed them a certified inspection from Crown Jeep in Holland. whatever lines their pockets is what they are into. Beware before you buy from them and do your due diligence. Their priority is not the client its their paychecks.

Previous 5 star rating, but now changed to 1 star for the following: When my newly purchased vehicle began having issues turning over, they did not provide assistance in the form of returning calls (period or not for several hours), offering to take a look at the vehicle, and wanting me to pay for repairs soon after buying it. Did not feel supported during any communication with the sales person, sales manager, and general manager. Do not recommend seeking a vehicle or service at Preffered Chrysler Dodge Jeep.

Found a car I wanted on Facebook marketplace listed by Preferred motors. I messaged the salesman named the Duck 🦆 MAN And he was quick to respond and was upfront on the condition of the car. I worked with Isaiah to find just the right Jeep that I would Love.. Many people worked together, as a team in the Grand Haven location, to make it happen.. All of the Jeep related items were taken out of the vehicle. The Jeep floor mats and the bag for the top panels. It takes multiple attempts to get responses to emails regarding warranty work. Until we said we were buying for sure they did not seem to care if we were customers or not. The gentleman that handles our financing was great, which is the reason they got more than one star. He was super friendly and helpful. The sales person was the reason we initially decided to shop elsewhere and couldn’t get what we were looking for elsewhere so we had to go back. Unfortunately the finance person is not enough to undo the rest of the less than average car buying experience.

My husband and I purchased a Ford Escape here. Within two days of owning the vehicle the parking brake alarm started going off. Prior to buying the vehicle their mechanics put new brakes on the vehicle. I think it is a little suspicious that we would have an alarm connected to the brake system consistently go off. I tried to resolve this with through the better business bureau but did not receive any sort of response. Do not buy your vehicle here. Especially if it is a used vehicle that you are looking into buying. Edit: I just wanted to add that they refused to even try to finance a Jeep that we wanted because of the age of the vehicle. It was only a few years older than the Ford we are stuck with.
