Me and my wife just closed on our first house. When we first started looking we heard some horror stories of people dealing with bad lenders. It wasn't something that we feared but we figured the process would be stressful at times. We couldn't have been more wrong, out advisor recommended Poli to us it was the best decision we made. I did my research and they had the best rates by far and were transparent and helpful throughout:) This is not my first refinance and it was a somewhat complex cash out that hopefully won’t bear looking at again any time soon. Poli Mortgage was easy to work with for our refinance and has a friendly team, led by Chip, who's easy to talk to. They said they'd get us a good deal, and they did. Different people at the company gave slightly different quotes initially, so it's good to call around and check in. But they are on your side - if you make money, they make money, and everyone wins. During the process, there were a few things that we were asked to do that we had to ask for clarification on - everyone was much more helpful on the phone than via email, so I suggest calling so they can really walk you through the process. This is a niche industry that many laypeople don't understand well, and communicating via email will leave gaps. Call them, and they'll help you out. After the refinance closed, we continue to get a lot of unsolicited mail from partners of Poli, but that's easy enough to recycle. The other thing - when Poli's bill came to us higher than their locked guarantee because the assessor charged a rush fee that neither we nor Poli asked for, I called Poli on the phone and asked about it, and they immediately sent out a refund for the fee. Very professional and friendly service - I appreciated that very much. Overall, there would have been snags with any refinance company, so I don't think I'd give anyone five stars. I was happy to work with Poli and would recommend them.
