PNC Bank Reviews

Very professional and kind people. Recently I made a stupid mistake which resulted in my account being overdrawn. By the time I was able to get adequate funds in to level it out at zero I had gotten charged 2 overdraft fees. I called and PNC not only reversed the fees, but also informed me on the numerous steps I can take to ensure I am aware of any and all charges and measures to take to ensure this doesn’t happen again. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Days after losing my spouse I was treated with disregard in trying to handle our bank account and safe deposit box. Representative didnt even offer condolences nor explanation of my next steps. Had to reach out to manager days later who at least explained next steps.Their services are terrible as I have 3 other friends who had similar incidents after losing spouses or family members. Also other cashing or deposit issues. Thank god our other bank handled with pleasure and compassion. Time to quit this bank.

The Haddonfield, NJ PNC bank has the worst customer service ever. I received a check from my insurance company that was drawn from PNC. The manager, John, treated me as is I printed the check myself. He did not even call Progressive for the draft number, which is the bank policy. Instead, John asked me did I try taking it to my bank to deposit and where was the paperwork that showed what the check was for? Needless to say, he told me that they could not cash my check. I hate to say it but, but it felt like discrimination to me. I went to another PNC bank the same evening and cashed the check without any problem.

They made it next to impossible to get my cousins will from her safe deposit box after her death. They made us wait 5 months.

Reviewing a bank is like reviewing a McDonald's. You know what you're getting. That's what I thought, at least, until I no longer had an account with PNC. Whenever I walked into PNC, I felt comfortable. The team knew my name, as well as the names of my children and wife. They asked about them. They gave lollipops to my kids and took a genuine interest in whatever I had to say. In addition to my personal account, I had an account for my small, bootstrapped business. While I make good money at my day job, finances can be a little tight because of business expenses. They always asked how my business was doing and went out of their way to mention it to other customers in the bank. Those little things made a big difference. At one point, I ran into an issue and the branch manager, Michele O'Hara, went well above and beyond to help me in any way that she could, even meeting me at my business to talk and offer support. In spite of all of these positive, I made the decision to switch to a "community" bank purely because of the hours they were open and that it was closer to my business. Immediately, I missed the level of customer service and level of assistance I received from PNC. Much like the other institution, PNC is a big bank but it does not pretend to be something that it is not. Instead, its actions speak louder than words.

Went to my usual Haddon Avenue PNC ATM, and my heart dropped when the receipt said card deactivated! Went inside, very nice gal brought me right in immediately. Come to find out my fun night out made me a victim....almost, but PNC knew! They stopped it! I got a new card in minutes, after some proper verification!!!!!!! The fee was nominal, considering the thief was trying to fraudulently take a substantial amount of money. I will always keep you, because you always have my back PNC! THANK YOU

I’ve banked at this branch for over 20 years and their service has been consistently exceptional. I have found the staff to be extremely knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. A positive barometer of any business is low turnover and this branch has a number of employees who have been with this branch for years.
