PNC Bank Northpark Dr, Kingwood

Update: 01-17-2022: Lots better service now, still a way to go, but this bank is superior to the other big banks. PNC has the capacity to become the premier US bank if it continues on it's path. Keep it up PNC! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Have tried to open an account for well over 2 months. Called the bank, was told they would be able to open a PNC account on 10-12. Went in on 10-13 and was told, they are not ready to open new accounts. Was told to do it online. Attempted to open online and their software claimed I was a risk of identity fraud. No option to ask questions, no recourse, just basically we do not want you as a customer. What a horrible way to introduce a new bank, PNC, to the area by running off potentially new customers - without an explanation. And by the way, I was going to maintain a fairly substantial balance. PNC, you lose here, bigtime!

I went to this bank on a Friday afternoon to cash a check from my employer. There were only 2 bank tellers inside available to help out the customers and one of the two was dividing her time between helping out the line customers and helping out to he drive through customers. I spent close to 25 minutes in line waiting and saw about 7 more customers in line behind me. Worst part was that since I wasn't a customer of theirs they charged me 2% to cash the check. When I asked if I could open an account with them in order to avoid the 2% fee, the teller told me that I would have to make an appointment first and the person who could help me wasn't available. I gave a 1 start rating because of the lack of support staff (especially on a Friday, one of the busiest days of the week) and a lack of options for opening a bank account with them. I also heard them say they don't open on Saturday's. Not want you want to hear from a bank.

I’m writing this review as I am still in the building. This place is the worst bank I have ever been to. All 3 ladies I have seen interact with people are so rude. When did bad customer service become the norm? They don’t have an ATM in the building for customers. The ATM they do have has a $4 withdrawal fee to use a different bank card... I understand the fee but $4 is higher than most gas station ATM’s.

I love this bank! But, please update your hours online. I went today and its drive thru is closed Yall are always so friendly! I never come on weekends and its closed.

I want to do international wire I made an appointment by text massage I get a massage to wait I am next in the line but the lady her name Angela come to me and said she won’t take me after being waiting 30 min

I have banked at this location since 1986 when it was First National. It was always a great place to bank and the enters PNC. I have tried for a month to get them to help unlink my husband from my accounts that he is not a signer on and link me to an estate account that I cannot access. I have used Entergy for 37 years and this month I got my first ever disconnect notice! Why? Because PNC canceled the payment and I had no way to send another until I went in the bank to get a temporary check! And then they said they can only give me 3 checks, but I needed 5 for just the checks they cancelled. Also, my husband now knows how much savings I had because his checking account is linked to mine that he is not a signer on. We were on hold for NINE hours trying to get a live person, set 3 appointments and cannot find anyone to help us. I need to move our accounts, but can't find any bank with good reviews. Do not use PNC!

I cannot think of one positive thing to say about this building that claims to be a bank. AVOID this place because the reviews are correct! I would go into my reasons not to go into this bank. However, I believe saying there isn’t a single positive thing to say about BBVA, now a part of PNC. Compass was a decent bank, but things obviously change. This review is about a bank and not a retail place or restaurant. Take these horrible reviews seriously!!!

I had the worst experience at this branch. Worked with Claudia and she has to worst attitude and was so unprofessional. Said she would help me with a loan but couldn’t get anything done and was on her phone texting the whole time and even called someone to ask for advice but seemed to be flirting rather than working. She clearly needs to take some trainings on good customer service.

This location HAS THE WORST service ever! The employees are so lazy! Your staff should take some working tips from Chick-Fil-A employees. They have a better attitude & work ethic.

I can see why this bank has soooo many bad reviews. I went in to ask where the atm was. The young white woman teller replied " outside" .. Umm okay outside where?? Than she had an attitude response. I realize i can't deposit to my Chase account from the ATM so I go back in to see if it's possible at all or if there is a Chase nearby. Oh Chase is in the back.. Okaaay.. Where... I don't know in the back of Kingwood somewhere.. I call to talk to a manager and leave a message just to never get a call back.. So unprofessional.. Ill stick with Chase
