I am honored to share my loan experience. I was referred to Cherry Creek Mortgage, LLC from my real estate agent Shirmel Gumbs-Heyliger. She spoke highly about the team. We spoke with Erik on Fathers day. He jumped in and requested documents within the first 2 days. In the past I had lenders request documents late in the process which was stressful. Erik team takes pride in closing loans. Every Tuesday Erik gave us an update. He returned our calls if he was on the other line. Erik assigned our loan procsser Dione Jones. She was amazing 😀. We had a Veterans loans, and used the Texas Veterans Land Board. Our loan was Dione first time working with the land board. We were told our house would close on July 19th. On July 15th, we closed early due to the team hard work, and commitment. We closed in 23 days. Cherry Creek takes the stress off their clients. I am completly satisfied ❤️. I don't understand how the reviews are rated the way they are. Moving to Texas, they only seemed to want to rush off the phone, they don't care about their customers, only themselves. I recommend looking for a lender who will take the time to answer your questions and actually do what you ask of them. I've bought more than once and their service is not what you should expect and Erik for future reference, be professional with your clients if you want to keep them.

Amazing people to work with. Erik Maya and his team made everything simple to understand and got to work quickly on my loan pre-approval. It's not my first time buying a home but it might as well have been since they educated me not only about the loan process but also about its details. My last lender just basically left my wife and I to figure out everything alone and didn't tell us much about the loan. Take your business elsewhere. Laura the preapproval manager is rude and inconsiderate. Thinks she’s above you even though you’re the one sitting in the client seat. Very very unprofessional. Nobody returns phone calls nobody addresses emails. They’re not willing and able to help those who are not as electronically or technology savvy. Not worth your time and energy. If I could leave zero stars I would leave zero stars. If you read the other bad reviews they claim your info isn’t in their database. That’s because you can’t get past Laura unprofessional pre approval process. On top of everything we’ve missed out on some real nice homes wasting our time with this company.
