I had been in chapter 13 bankruptcy for the past 5 years and I had checked around at other lending companies and I wanted to refinance my house and pull some money out. My bankruptcy ended in October of 2021 so I had contacted Mike at peoples bank a few months prior just to get some information about what I needed to do to accomplish what my goals were. He was very informative and we kept in contact until I received my discharge and off to the races we went. It was a pretty smooth process and we were very impressed with how quick it all went. Since the beginning of the process Zachery Dowden was very helpful and informative to my wife and I. Zach advised us as to how we should raise our credit score by getting a credit card, he told us how even while I was in Bankruptcy we could still qualify. Every 2-3 months Zach would contact us to see where we were at in our progress. Each time we were closer and closer until finally we were ready. At that time Zach started gathering documents from us, giving us our pre-approval letter. As time went on with our search Zach was always available when we called and answered all of our questions honestly. Even while looking for a home Zach would check on us, he would notify us of any new documents we needed and was patient as we gathered them. Later on in the process we were introduced to Tiffany Russell, Tiffany was also very polite and helpful. Tiffany would answer calls and emails with any questions or concerns. Zach and Tiffany were right there with us until the end and we finally closed. I just want to say it was a great experience working with Zachery and Tiffany, I could write a lot more but just know we will never forget you all. We are so thankful that we were able to reach out to you all I think initially in 2020. I would recommend anyone in or out of bankruptcy to you all. We never knew it was a bank that would help you purchase while in Bankruptcy until we heard of Peoples Bank. In our eyes it is the perfect name because you are a Bank for the people. I worked with Dave Otting and Tiffany Russell for my refinancing. They were wonderful. Always answered my questions in the same day. They Processed my refinancing ahead of schedule. They were great to work with especially when I tried multiple companies and no one would refinance me after bankruptcy. Highly recommend.

I want to thank Mike and Melody for all their hard work and help. I had been shopping around to refi and pull some money out to build a garage. Dealing with People’s Mortgage was one of the easiest and best experiences I have ever had with mortgage companies - and I have had at least 15. Danny and Kaitlyn were amazing! Every time I left a message, I was immediately contacted. If they didn’t have the answer right then and there, they would find it and get right back to me. Their on-line portal was extremely easy to use. I’m not computer savvy either. Everyone was always pleasant and helpful. I’m so pleased I could do a commercial for them.
