People's Community Federal Credit Union Se 12th St, Vancouver

I've been a member for several years, and I wish I would have never joined. After a couple years of being a member, I went in and asked about a motorcycle loan. I was offered a loan with a ridiculously high interest rate, despite my good credit. I then drove a 1/2 a block down the street, to a credit Union I'd never set foot in before, and got a loan with a very low interest rate 1st try. A couple years later, I went in and asked about a home loan. They would even work with me because I didn't have 20% down. Again, I drove to the same credit Union half a block down the road, and was offered a great loan with my 10% down payment. I'm not sure what I have to do to be treated like a good customer, but other banking institutions seem to have that secret. Most recently, over the last week, my debit card has been declined several times at several different locations, despite my having money in the account. The 1st time it happened, I was told that this was happening to all debit users from people's community credit Union and that it would be fixed the next day. I was OK with that. Well, it's still happening. I just had to pay ATM fees out of pocket because I needed gas for my car and my card would not work. I wonder how much PCCU makes on ATM fees during these outages? As soon as humanly possibly, I'll be switching my auto pays over to an account at a new institution and running, not walking, away.

I would give it less as I’ve never experienced worse customer service at any business ever (previous experiences). Had a Friday off and went to make a deposit and they were closed, not mentioned on their website, tried to call over a dozen times to hear some weird clicking and promptly get hung up on. I would rather bank at Chase, which is pitiful. Hopefully they are open or can answer a phone in three days so I can cancel my family’s five accounts.

Been banking here for 20 years & have had a great experience. They have done an excellent job of customer service. I had 2 issues with fraud & they had my money back immediately! Great job Peoples!! Thanks mom for recommending them to me!!😊

Been with people since the beginning of time. Always friendly and prompt service.

Since I opened my account 7 years ago, I have had the pleasure of banking in Battle Ground, Hazel Dell, and East Vancouver. At each place they are always smiling, polite, and very helpful. Also, the people who answer the phones after hours or on weekends are so helpful, they walked me through my issue in a very short amount of time and I was able to get it resolved. This is how all businesses should be.

Very friendly, helpful bank that is just what is needed in a world with BIG BANKS with big policies that forget the little people. It is each one of us that makes up the members of a credit union & the employees there know it and show it. It is appreciated.

Their main phone customer service line are full of a bunch of terrible people, looking to start conflicts, and not willing to help. I will be transferring all of my money out of this credit union.
