i’m getting mix-feelings about this bank. first i get these scam texts and scam calls from them about something i never did then they locked my account. then i called and asked them to unlock it and they said they can’t and that i would have to order a new card and it will take 14 weeks. i agreed to that and the card has never came. i have money in that god awful bank that i can’t even spend. oh

Do not use this bank to refinance your vehicle they will take your $1000 gap if loan is paid off early this bank is worse then wellsfargo an thats hard to beat

I had THE BEST experience with Cheryl for my car loan. She was professional, friendly, and you can tell that she really cares about helping people. She patiently walked me through every step of the process, and called to follow up with me the next day, when I had to go to the dealership and pick out my car. We had to make a few adjustments, which she did very quickly, and I was able to drive my new car home the next day! I would absolutely recommend People First to anyone looking for a no hassle, pleasant loan experience with no hidden fees.

I've been a member since April, 2016. I, never had a problem with any of my accounts, or loans. The only thing I, don't like is the ATM machines. Some machined let you deposit a check or cash, without any envelop and some do. I, prefer without the envelope. Great credit union.

I needed a personal loan for the closing costs of a home we are trying to buy and the Product Specialist, Angelica Rosado, was more than helpful in getting me the loan in less than 24 hours! She also helped me refinance my auto loan at a rate that was twice as good as what I current had. I could not be happier with her and People First and will recommend them to everyone I know. Giving 1 star is being nice. I’d give none but it won’t allow me to review with no stars. What a joke Of a bank. I had my auto loan through this branch and they were less than helpful as i navigated GAP insurance. I was advised by a woman named Beverly to not pay on my loan until GAP came through so i knew they proper amount to work with payments on. It took quite some time to deal with the GAP insurance and when i finally did, i came in to restructure the remaining balance. I was told i was given bad info by someone who clearly didn’t know my account (wrong because Beverly did in fact know my account). This has now all been reported to credit and sent to collections. I refused to pay interest when i was advised by a member of the people’s first team to not pay until GAP was resolved. However they decided to make their own decision to send this out. I showed up to my first appt early and still had to wait 40 minutes past appt time to be seen while sitting with a 4 month old and Nothing was resolved. What a joke. Don’t bother doing business with these people. Trying to deal with Brian was a waste of time and effort.

When I first opened my account I never received starter checks.They just gave me a company to order from and the checks were very expensive. Also, every Customer Service person you speak to has a different story or policy. I called thinking my account was in good standings and I had a chance to pay a bill before it closed but the customer service person said "no when one of your accounts close they usually close the other one then she said Mary or Betty should have told you that". I see that the customer service is the biggest complaint here why is nothing being done??

I have been a member/account holder of PFFCU since I was born, and have always been satisfied with their rates and banking policies. However, for the past year or so there has been a dramatic shift in the staff at the locations that we go to (Bethlehem & Downyflake) and a definite shift in customer service. I believe some policies have changed as well (frustration with “holds” being placed on large amount checks, that was never an issue in the past). But today I went into the Downyflake branch lending department to clear an issue with car transfer payments/proof of insurance, etc., and was greeted by Cheryl Scott (who happened to be standing by at the front desk). She immediately took me to her office and resolved all of my issues in such a professional and kind manner. She even went further and got to know a little about me, my family, and our finances, and gave me such honest, down-to-earth advice and information that was such a help to me. I truly appreciate genuine “customer service” and Cheryl definitely has renewed my confindence in People First Credit Union because she literally puts “people first”. She even followed up with a phone call later in the day to confirm the transactions we spoke about. I highly recommend her and will be requesting her for any future lending/loan/financial advice.

I have been a member of People First Credit Union al of my life. I had to come in today to change my address and cancel a debit card and get a new one because of a charge that I did not recognize. Again, everything went smoothly, and I am very happy with the service that I received. Audrey was fantastic and very helpful!

I was going to open an account on early Monday afternoon , however I was told that I had to wait and schedule an appointment which at the earliest was the end of the week. This is the first time that I have been to a bank or CU and told that. Normally they have welcome arms to customers. Every state that I have lived in, you walk in open the account, "Give Them Your Money," and go on about your day.

I had an appointment with Cheryl today and it was a pleasant visit. She was fun yet professional and made me feel comfortable. Usually when I deal with the staff here I’m never really too impressed but this time around I was. I will continue to try to deal with only Cheryl going forward because she was a pleasure.

I have been scammed my entire account has been compromised and this bank listened to my story of what happened and did not treat me as a criminal instead they listened and compassion and helped me get my situation into a better position Ms. Rosado was really great and did everything she could to make things right. No STARS at all . The worst bank of life, terrible terrible customer service I called and spoken to different people and they were ALL very nonchalant and like they didn’t wanna help solve my issue. Especially due to covid-19 there should be some respect on people’s lives. They all need training in customer service or need new jobs. Just sickening . On top of that this bank doesn’t let you do anything . No cash deposits like Wells Fargo of your bank is over drawn and can’t make it due to work or other reasons .. can’t even pay with a different checking account. It’s just terrible.
