I had the greatest car buying experience with Elijah Rivera #relyoneli at Allentown Kia. I came in on a snowy Saturday afternoon looking to purchase a new ‘23 Sportage. Not only did he provide vehicle knowledge expertise, he also demonstrated the highest level of customer service. He made my experience painless and pressure free. I was able to drive away same day, while staying within my budget. Following my purchase, I contacted him a few times with questions regarding the vehicle and he graciously responded. About a week after he followed up to ensure I was enjoying the vehicle. That showed me he cared about more than just making a sale. I am a very happy customer and will only use Eli at Allentown Kia for my future car buying needs. He is a very valuable asset to the company!

We Purchased a used Kia sorrento. It came with the drivetrain warranty. A year later, the engine failed. The warranty company did not want to replace the engine, but Allentoen Kia really backed me up. In the end, we got our engine replaced as promised in the warranty agreement. Laura in service is the best! She really fought for us. She returns calls and kept us in to date all throughout the process. The service team did a great job.

although everyone was nice, they come off as a scam. First of all, the advertised price is very different from the actual price when you get there. Online, the Kia fortes we’re listed at MSRP. when you waste your time driving up there, you see there’s a $3,000+ markup on the new cars for “market adjustment.” What a scam, considering brown daub Kia in the Lehigh valley does not have this. Be ware of them, and DONT get scammed. If you’re in desperate need of a car, go elsewhere

Take your business to Ourismen Kia in Fairfax Virginia they are wiping out the overages or offsetting it by going over trade value.

If you want to leave...with not only the BEST vehicle....BUT ALSO the BEST DEAL..... make sure you see JESSICA RIVERA!!!!! Hands down she is the best! She will make sure your needs are met...not just vehicle preference wise...BUT also... price wise! We started conversing on Facebook about possibly getting in to a new veh... by trading my vehicle in. Long story short...went in on a Saturday just to "look"....left that same Saturday with a brand NEW SUV and an even better deal!!!! The customer experience at Allentown Kia is the absolute best. I had called around to several Kia dealerships in search of a specific trim/color on a new 22' Telluride. From the moment I called Allentown, I interacted with Megan who was beyond professional and walked me through a lot of details which gave me confidence before I even stepped foot into the dealership. Then when I arrived the next day, Frank Torres helped me out with the actual sale. Frank was incredible to work with and the best part - he worked WITH me! I was absolutely amazed at how Allentown Kia and specifically Elijah Rivera made the process of buying a car so enjoyable. They had the exact vehicle in stock I wanted to buy. There was none of the nonsense upselling and undercutting trade in values I have experienced at so many other dealerships. Mr. Rivera quoted me a fair price with zero haggling. Then I watched in amazed silence while the finance manager kept trying to find me a lower interest rate even after his first quote was already lower than anything I could have gotten on my own. I am only giving this dealership a 2 star review due to the fact that the first gentleman (Rob Martin) my boyfriend and I dealt with was phenomenal! However, the moment the second gentleman came in (Dan Medina) to discuss numbers with us, had immediately lost our business. He made us feel very disrespected when discussing options with us, speaking to my boyfriend as if they had know each other before saying “thats not how you do it bro” as well as refusing to run anymore numbers for him when he had questions. Mind you, prior to coming to this dealership we were informed that they were “sketchy” and “unprofessional” when handling business. I highly suggest not doing business with this gentleman at this specific dealership.

I just have to say that there is so much to say about the amazing sale representative of Jessica Rivera. If you are looking to go to Allentown of Kia, please ask for Jessica. Jessica not only had a smile on her face from the moment I walked into the dealership to the time I left, but she also had great customer service. I came in on Tuesday of this week, and told her what my price range was and what I was looking for. I had asked her what would you suggest? She gave me some options and the minute she took me out to the Sportage I said to her “Jessica this is my car”! At that moment she knew it was meant to be for me. After coming back today on Wednesday and signing those final papers I can finally say that she has put me into my dream car. I had purchased the new 2022 Kia Sportage LX. Before I left the parking lot she made sure I knew everything in and out of the car and also made sure that when I left there I was feeling comfortable with my car knowing everything by heart. I cannot thank her enough for the amazing customer service that she has done for me. She is the best at selling cars and she knows every little thing that each car has involved. It truly shows a lot especially because I had my son with me and she was so sweet with him and she made him feel so welcome. And she not only made sure that I felt like this was my dream car but she told me that it is 100% safe for my son. After having a heart and heart conversation with her regarding my son as he has a special needs child we had some tears together. She is truly amazing. Manny was absolutely fantastic. Honestly the best car sales experience I've ever had. I work full-time and have three very young kids and no one to really help out because of COVID so I had a VERY short time frame to spend there. I think my usual time to buy a car in the past was 6 hours, and the total at Kia from test drive to purchase was probably 2.5 - that was definitely thanks to Manny. I basically have him on speed dial in case I have any questions about my car - which I LOVE! So he's great even beyond the car sales experience. 10/10 on all accounts.

Eli was a pleasure to work with. However the deceptive "bait & switch" tactics still exist. Come in with a low ball offer and then work your way up (If they jump $3-$4K on a trade in, you know they are trying to scam you). There's too much competition around to go through this and hopefully land a sale. I don't want to spend hours in a dealership. I know what I want and how much I'm willing to spend. I've done all the research. This location has lost my last 2 Kia sales because I had to get the vehicles at other Kia locations. I will only use this location for servicing of my Kia because their staff is awesome. Sales staff still has some work to do.
Mr De Brito, we are sorry you feel this was a bait and switch. We are beyond transparent with our customers. You received one of our specific offers in the mail. Unfortunately, as we have explained this to you on your other visits, certain offers such as this one cannot be combined. This is no different than any other business offering. Our thousands of other satisfied customers allowed us the time to show them why doing business with Allentown KIA is unmatched, you declined such offering. In fact I had multiple customers today ask to speak with me directly, just to say how satisfied they were with both their deal and the service provided. The videos are posted on our FB page. That is what we strive for. We wish you the best with your purchase, I assure you we wouldn’t lead the state in volume if our prices were too high, or our service was poor, or as you say we had “bait and switch” tactics. I tried to schedule a service appointment for a recall. Woman on the phone couldn't access the system to look up my VIN. She was unaware that Kia has an official owner's portal for vehicle information, so she did not believe my recall was legit. Meanwhile, I was able to schedule an appointment online with another dealership whose appointment software immediately recognized the recall associated with my vehicle.

Not sure what happened to this dealership. I bought my last car there no problem. Went in to trade that one in on a new one, and it was like they didn't want my business. They didn't have the color I wanted, so the vibe changed. I just went somewhere else and got a better deal. Never buy another car there.

EDIT: I contacted Allentown Kia again and spoke with Cory after the response to my review. He was very helpful and handled everything the same day. I was even sent a copy of the canceled check for my refund. I took off 1 star since it took so long to get this figured out but I appreciate the speed and professionalism that Cory handled the situation. I got a car here last year. I originally got an extended warranty but decided to cancel it. I was told I would have the amount of the warranty credited to my loan but its been TEN MONTHS without that happening. I have called repeatedly but no one ever calls back or gives vague statements without helping. They took my money for an extended warranty but didn't give me the warranty or my money back. I purchased my first Kia in 2017 at the Allentown Kia and went back to upgrade and I was introduced to Rob Martin. His hospitality was warm and welcoming. As we were talking he got to know what we were looking for and introduced me to my new car the 2021 Kia Seltos. He took us for a test drive and loved the route that we took which allowed us to get a feel for the different road conditions and see how the car handled the different environments. When we returned he explained all the functions of the interior cabin. He went above and beyond to find the exact color that we wanted and delivered as promised. The financial department was great. Allentown Kia deserves 0 stars for their deceptive advertising practices and for overcharging customers. My husband and I recently went in looking to purchase a Kia Sorento Hybrid, and after wasting about 4 hours, we decided to leave without purchasing the vehicle. If you have your heart set on buying a Kia, you should visit a different dealership. We went in anticipating that the online advertised MSRP would be the price we were working with. Instead we noticed that on the vehicles in the lot, there were two different sticker prices. They had the window sticker that you see on their website, but attached was an adjusted MSRP which added on about $3500 for services like nitrogen in tires, rust protection and interior protection (Kia already provides a warranty that covers rust/corrosion and interior), car washes, and wheel locks. We told the salesperson that we were not interested in those additional services but he insisted it could not be taken off the price. We were told we had to pay the price with the tacked on $3500 services. If you visit their website, they claim the advertised price includes everything except taxes, motor vehicle fees, documentary fees, and certification fees. They don't mention that when you get to the lot they will require you to pay a higher price for the vehicle for services you may not be interested in. We had the salesman run the numbers for us anyways. We specifically told him that we came in because we received an email about an offer for the month of March which included 0% APR dealership would cover the first 3 payments, and they would pay above the KBB value for the car. We knew going in that the Kia model didn't qualify for 0% APR and we initially told the internet sales manager that we would wait until Kia was offering 0% APR. Prior to going, the internet sales manager told us that he would help us out by deducting $2,000 from the price to compensate for any interest we would pay if we purchased the vehicle now while it's at 1.9%. We only came in because he told us this and because we saw the email with the offer. After much back and forth, the salesman didn't want to deduct the $2000 we were told initially could be taken off. He didn't want to give us the car at the MSRP advertised on their website. I know multiple people with Kias, and the dealerships they went to did not tack on mandatory fees for services like car washes, rust/Interior protection, wheel locks, and nitrogen in tires. They also wanted to give us a lower value on our car than what KBB valued the car at even though their email stated they would pay above KBB value (Also, I submitted my car information and pictures to Carvana and they offered me over $3,000 more than what Allentown Kia offered). We told the salesman that all we cared about was the total price of the car including fees. He didn't listen to us, and instead kept pushing us to put a larger deposit down or finance the car for more months to bring our payments down. My husband and I did have a good laugh when the financing suggestion was offered because extending financing would raise the APR to 2.9%, and any reasonable person knows that's just more money out of the buyer's pocket. Again, he wasn't listening to us when we said we cared about the overall price of the car. Also, he kept telling us he was going to talk to his manager and he was gone for a while talking to multiple different people (they couldn't all be his manager). We were really interested in purchasing the Sorento Hybrid but the experience was awful. I don't know how Allentown Kia has a 4.5 star rating when they are overcharging their customers. Please look at the other negative reviews carefully before visiting this place. We will be looking at other Kia dealerships, and if not, I'll be visiting Toyota or Honda where their online MSRP match the MSRP stickers on the car.

Had a flat on the 3rd day I owned my K5 . Took it in for repair without an appointment , Adam Z had left a note as service was closed when I called the night before . Arrived a few minutes after service opened. They took my car right in and in less than 30 minute I was on my way to work! What shocked me was they did not charge me for the repair and I did not have road hazard coverage

They are now expired for over 10 days and we've called and left messages and emailed with only response saying she would look into it and that was 7 days ago. Terrible customer service.

I cannot express how amazing the customer service and assistance that Don showed me on Tuesday was. I originally was looking at the Sorento, but it was out of my price range. Because Don actually LISTENED when I talked about my daily life/driving experiences, he made me realize that a 3rd row wasnt necessary for me and I could not just afford the Sportage, but it would be a perfect fit for what I need. I also love that Don asked what I like as far as colors, trims, extras, etc. He didnt make me wander the entire lot looking for what I like, he brought the cars to me that fit what Iwas looking for. Don explained every single thing/option that came in my car. I left feeling confident knowing how the lights work and how to hook up my phone. He didnt miss a single detail! I was a tough sale because of financing, but he never gave up on me. I was there for about 5hrs and he did everything he could to make it so I could go home with a new car that I LOVE!!! It really made me feel good that he didnt just walk away. He worked so hard that day and it worked! Just to add in the little touches that made the day great, he not only showed me where the coffee was, but actually made the coffee for me. He brought water for my son multiple times. He told me about the service department since Ill obviously be bringing my new car there for the oil changes, etc. Don introduced me to the finance dept and didnt just point/tell me where to go. I know it seems silly, but those little personal attention type of actions go a long way. It was greatly appreciated. I absolute LOVE my Sportage! Ive had so many compliments and I am telling everyone to go to Allentown Kia and ask for Don!

We bought a Kia k-5 about six months ago. Everything was great until there was some issues with the driver side front wheel. It started to make slight creaking noises. I figured no problem I’ll drop it off. I scheduled an appointment and they called me the day of the reschedule 3 weeks out. The issue is progressively getting worse as the car is being driven. They refused to offer any solution and wouldn’t offer a loaner in the mean time. The service lady who answers the phone is the worst Customer service person I have ever ran into. It has me never wanting to buy a Kia ever again. Their slogan on the hold music is “we just say yes” all I was told was “no” “I don’t know we can’t help you”. I hope for their own business sake they replace that person because now I will never give them anymore than the $30,000 I already spent. Now I will be using another dealer in the area for all my needs. As that is what the person suggested to me. I really hope management realizes they have an employee that is telling clients to go elsewhere.

There are so many great things to say about Jessica. She is a gem to Kia. She has helped not only me but my sister and my brother. Her spirit is pure and her heart is kind. Do not believe their ads. Treated my family and I like garbage. Was all nice nice when we walked through the door but when they ran our info...but sgt. Torres just dismissed us ... proud marine has forgotten basic manners. Just returning all our info not even stopping to sit down that they could do nothing with our trade in. What ever happened to common courtesy...on the phone they said they would work and help us out no matter what...we just wasted time and was dismissed as unworthy.

Where do I start.. Allentown Kia is an awesome dealer ship. I was recommended a few times here by people. And I was not disappointed. I was interested in the Kia stinger. I've been looking for the best deal possible for the last few months went to Allentown Kia and found it. Bought a 2018 Dodge Ram I'm more then happy with this purchase. Almost got in an accident because of these clowns!!! Unloading cars from a truck in the middle of Lehigh Street. I am not even from the area but this is a hazard to incoming and ongoing traffic. I have nothing to say about the dealership itself but please tell your drivers to use common sense and stop acting like clowns.

I saw an ad on facebook about some special deals that they have, i call and over the phone they explain everything and book my appointment in less than 25mins. Saturday i went to the dealership early in the morning with my mind on the negative side due to past experience with my usual Kia dealership. Upon arrival at the dealership as always friendly staff left and right. When the salesman ask me what i wanted on my next car i told him 4 key features that i wanted b4 even going foward with the deal, he decided to show me a New Black Optima S which had everything minus heated seats and that was a huge down for me and a feature that was present on older optima model like the automatic mirrors but he said to me "I know you wanted to have heated seats but what if i get you panoramic sunroof and white Optima S are you willing to compromise? because today you are not leaving this dealership in your old car but in a new one" and i went and said ' Well i don't know about getting me today in the car but yes i will compromise on the heated for the white and panoramic' i mean the car was awesome but i was a bit down of not getting the heated seats, couple of minutes he said 'hold on i got something in mind for you, but you have to trust me on this one' at this point i went like 'oooh here we go used 2013 Optima with 50k+ on the odometer' but to my surprise he went and show me a CPO 2018 Optima EX with all the features that i wanted PLUS panoramic sunroof, automatic mirrors, memory seats, heated AND cooled seats, back up camera with sensors, BSD and a few things more with just hitting 5,998 on the odometer went going out for the test drive! Not only he went above and beyond BUT he actually got me into the car with me being hard headed from time to time and not pushing my limits on what i can and can't do with monthly payments and down payments and other stuff. Overall very very pleasant experience and they got me into a new car when my usual Kia dealership just told me "Give me $7,500+ on anything or just go home." Seriously i would recommend this dealership to any body that want fast, friendly and upfront no bs service!!!

I prefer 0 stars!!!!! I recently bought a car there. Yeah, it was used. I felt like the salesman was pushing it on me. I should have went with my instinct and left. Instead I bought it and a week later I found out that the gas gauge doesn't work. Now today, which is slightly only 2 months later and the fan completely went out. Now I have no air conditioning, heat, or even the vent for air.. They told me they would be able to check it for free, but not repair it.. He said that since the fan wasn't working he didn't want to it to blow up on me.. Yeah, drive the car for a half hour to an hour on 78 and pray it doesn't blow up.. Thanks for now having me scared to death to drive it..

Don’t believe what the online says. I went looking for a car I saw online only for them to tell me it was in New Jersey and if i wanted it, it would be a lot more expensive for it to get here, in the mean time he kept trying to convince me to buy a car I didn’t like the color of and I was pretty adamant I wanted the one I saw online. Then when he came out with the prices of two cars I looked at they were $9000 higher than the online prices and when I confronted salesman he said I know.
Hi Sara, we do share inventory with one of our other KIA locations. This is to let our online shoppers know we have direct access to additional inventory. Currently, our website displays a price with strike through it. This is to indicate that is in fact not the advertised price but the MSRP of the vehicle. If you click the blue question mark next to the price, this will explain that due to a national shortage of inventory, there is a market adjustment on new vehicles. This had no bearing on obtaining you the vehicle of your choice. Unfortunately, there were other factors which could not allow us to move forward with the sale. Additionally, the trade-in had a name on the registration that was not present with you. PA law requires the registered owner to be present during the transaction, and sign the appropriate documentation. If you would like to discuss this further, please reach out to me directly. Extremely disappointing experience. Had set up an appointment to come in and purchase my car. I ran my credit before and had my trade in ready. I asked that everything please be ready when I get there to try and make it as easy as possible. Low and behold they sold my car the night before and did not tell me! They try to sell me something else which I did not want and then said it would be extra to bring one in. I asked for my keys to my old car and I’d go down the street to brown daub and buy it there. They kept my keys and came back saying they found want I wanted elsewhere. However, they added 4 THOUSAND DOLLARS to the price and tried to sneak it by. As a sales manager myself this shocked me and when I asked about it they said all of them will be that way despite giving me an invoice without it on my previous visit. The only saving grace in brown daub was 15 miles away. In under an hour I upgraded and got a better car for 6500 dollars less than what Allentown Kia quoted me. I’ll be letting the better business bureau know about this wonderful bait and switch and everyone I see will know to never set foot in this place. They really should be embarrassed trying to pull stuff over on customers like this. Buyer beware! Update. Called twice and left messages like they asked. No response, seems to be a common theme to concerns here.

My wife and went to purchase a brand new Telluride. Donny was great. For that matter the entire team at Allentown Kia was great. Donny did amazing work to get us the deal we were looking for and get us into the Unicorn of a Telluride. Nothing about our experience was rushed and all our questions were answered. Once you buy the car you are forgotten. Left several voicemails and no one has reached back to me about canceling GAP coverage for a vehicle I no longer have. Receptionist was literally laughing at my frustration in regards to being auto-forwarded to voicemail boxes. Nothing says customer service like laughing at your customers right? Had a similar issue when they sold me the truck with a faulty sensor causing the remote start to not work. Not impressed. Glad I went elsewhere.

Horrible!!!!!! This is not a family oriented car dealership!!!!! Bennetts Toyota up the street is a very family oriented dealership!!!! I will never step foot into this dealership again!!! Went there looking for a used truck and they gave me my trade in value for my car and it was nowhere near what kbb and carfax were at and the internet price isn't the price . They add $1295 for a warranty that is usually included when you by a used car and you had to meet 2 other qualifications. Couldn't take that $1295 off. Went to ROTHROCK and they gave me $9000 more for my trade on almost the same truck ( better condition) then the one I was looking at at allentown Kia. Deceitful sales tactics!

If you are shopping for a new Kia Telluride I do not recommend Allentown Kia due to the $6K plus MSRP mark ups on current inventory. If you are willing to wait a few months I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Murray Kia of Conshohocken, PA. You can order a new Telluride at MSRP with ZERO mark ups. I spoke with a representative from Allentown Kia and received a quote with a $7K mark up. I then stated they were misleading with the price on Auto Trader and the representative informed me the prices on their website are croseed out, because they are marking them up. Beware their website does not have the mark up prices either. The next day I went to Murray Kia and ordered a Telluride for MSRP with no mark ups and I received TOP NOTCH service. So if your willing to be patient and want to save money, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing with MURRAY KIA of Conshohocken, PA. **UPDATE** I received the 2022 Telluride I ordered from Murray Kia a few days ago, which I waited six weeks for. I purchased the vehicle at MSRP, with no markups or hidden charges. As I stated previously, if you are willing to be patient and receive a fair price as a consumer, contact MURRAY KIA of Conshohocken, Pa.
Hi Bennie, yes, there is a market adjustment due to factory supply on the most popular vehicle in the country, the Telluride. I'm quite sure this is not the first time you have experienced a shortage of something in our current economy. We have our prices crossed out on our website, and when you called for more information, we explained this to you before scheduling an appointment. We did not ask you to travel to the dealership to disclose this price. The MSRP is just that, a suggested price. When the market demands cannot keep up with supply, prices increase. If they weren't selling above MSRP then the prices would come down, however that hasn't been the case on this vehicle for over 2 years. I'm glad you found one of the few dealerships left in the country who may be offering an order at your price, and you will also be waiting some time for that vehicle to come in. Others do not want or may not have the luxury of waiting 12 months for a vehicle to arrive. We were transparent and honest, you disagreeing with our price should not warrant a bad review, especially as you never visited our dealership, nor have you purchased or serviced your vehicle with us. Me and my family went to Allentown Kia to look at an Expedition advertised online and it was a great experience. Frank Torres helped us and was very personable from the start. I ended up getting the payment that I wanted and the buying process went smoothly. After driving my vehicle I noticed that a parking sensor and back wiper were not working properly and Allentown Kia paid for a rental car for a week and didn’t charge for the repair. Class act and I would definitely recommend to anyone.

If I could give zero stars I would. First of all, I applied for a used vehicle online for the credit check and called the manger Justin to ask if it was worth the almost 2 hour drive for us to get to them. He assured me everything looked great with our credit check and there were many discounts we could get for the vehicle. Once there after a almost 2 hour ride, I ask for Justin which never appeared. Another sales man came out and let us test drive. We found at least 4 issues with the vehicle and asked if they could be fixed. He left us in the office as his computer would not work to come back stating the car was as is. Next, on the add for the car online which was clearly stated in the add, lifetime warranty to all new and used vehicles. We asked about that. He left again. Came back to say that vehicle was not included with the warranty. Than i asked for the first responders discount they were advertising for 500 dollar discount. He once again left to come back to say no we can not give that to you on this car. We than asked for the price to be lower as we looked up the Kelly blue book price and the price was over 5000 dollars more than it was worth. After leaving again, he stated price was as is. No discount could be given as another offer from another dealership was given this same day and they are willing to pay that price. Justin never spoke of this on the phone. We decided we would take the price as is and try. After almost a 2 hour wait, we were approved but need to trade in one of our other vehicles for payment. We decided to think it over. The next morning we called the sales man on his personal cell and goes right to voice mail. Left a message. I call dealership and they tell me he is off today. Overall what a bad experience. No help was given and I felt pressured to have to sell one of my other vehicles in a hurry as the other offer came in from another dealership. Very bad experience. Would never recommend this company as they lie to get you there and pressure you the whole time with a sales man who had no answers or clue to what he was doing.

Buyer Beware - High Pressure Sales Tactics + Terrible Customer Experience I don't recommend this dealership. I bought my car from them about a year a half ago (car is great, thanks KIA!) and regret buying from this dealership even today. I would have rather paid more and bought the same car from someone to not experience those tactics. But I was young and trying to get a car so I didn't know any better. Tactic #1: After a few back and forths, one of salesmens tries to get me into a little "contract." He asks me to write on a piece of paper, "I, Sam Lee will buy this car for X" and asks me to sign, date, and initial it to create a secondary contract to make sure "I'm bought in." Tactic #2: Also, there is a great chance that the finance guy dupes you with a warranty. I was upsold a warranty toward the end of the buying process. I requested a cancellation in writing to the finance manager the day I bought the car(realizing it was a total scam) but he was gone from KIA Allentown a week later! Any emails to finance manager old/new come up empty. Calls don't get answered. Guess who's stuck holding the bag? Me. Tactic #3: Will start a "car wash" and detail for your vehicle before you even say you're interested in purchasing the vehicle Avoid the dealership. This is someone who bought their car from them. I can even verify my purchase for those reading, just message me. This dealership will subject you to high pressure sales tactics (that are honestly kinda disgusting) and try to squeeze every dollar out of you. It's really a shame, my entire family buys KIA cars but I will never be buying from this dealership ever again.

You indicated that we had you sign your worksheet with your offer and at no time is that meant to be high pressure and if you want to call it a sales tactic (#1) that’s fine, we call it transparency. We realized a long time ago that communication is key and purchasing an automobile can be very confusing and overwhelming for our customers so in an effort to keep it simple and transparent we print out your purchase agreement for you to review before you finalize paperwork. The reason we ask that you sign it is just for us both to agree that we are on the same page with the numbers. We don’t want anyone to purchase anything and not know exactly what they’re paying for. So I do apologize if you took our transparency for pressure but the majority of our customers appreciate the fact that we review these figures and not just have them agree to a payment or shuffle numbers around like other dealers may do. On to what you describe as our #2 sales tactic, the service contract. You’re right, as part of our sales process we review optional products after you agree to purchase a vehicle from us. We review these options separately because they are optional. Extended service contracts are not warranties and they are not a scam when purchased from a reputable company. The fact of the matter is any vehicle whether it’s a new Kia or other make and model is a machine with computers and these machines and computers are made by humans and can some times fail. While Kia has the best warranty in the business we have products that can enhance the coverage. Repairs on components can cost thousands of dollars and many of our customers choose to protect themselves with a service contract much like they do with automobile insurance. Hopefully you never need to use it but if you do, it’s nice to have. I am not sure what happened when you attempted to cancel the warranty but I am always available and/or you could have chosen to stop in to the dealership in person to cancel. You mentioned that when we began to wash and detail the car that it’s a sales tactic (#3). We were just trying to be conscious of your time and we never rush detailing a car. We realize that an automobile purchase is typically the second most expensive purchase a person will make, next to purchasing a home. We want the experience to be outstanding and we wanted your new car to shine and look amazing! So I’m sorry that you took our excitement to deliver a shiny new sparkling clean vehicle to you on your special day as a sales tactic, we were just trying to take our time and deliver a perfect vehicle to you. So Sam, I’m sorry that you feel as though we have all of these “sales tactics” but everything that you highlighted for us is our sales process and the fact that we disclose everything to our customers to make sure that we do not have a miscommunication. Our customers get a breakdown of each and every dollar they spend with us and we just asked for a signature that you acknowledge and agree that we are both on the same page. Service contacts are not scams, they’re optional protection and we also like to get the ball rolling so that our detail department has plenty of time to make a car look perfect. If at any time a customer has a question during our processes we immediately stop what we’re doing to address it and communicate with them and while it seems as though our process isn’t for you, it’s something the rest of our customers seem to appreciate and honestly deserve. At one time this dealership was great, now they don't want to work with the customer. They may give a good deal on you purchase but don't expect the service to help you if you get a recall. They stated that maybe I should find another dealership. So I will.

So today was my first time looking for a new car. If you want to get ripped off, Allentown Kia is the place to go! I researched Ford F150’s and made arrangements to drive from Long Island 3 hours away to a dealership that advertised a low-miles truck at $14,900. My wife went with me and we were somewhat confident I would purchase, and when we got there, the price magically went up by $1000 to $15,900 once we sat down to go over paperwork. I went for a test drive and had a mechanic check out the vehicle costing me $35 and $10 in gas cause the tank was empty (a sign of a great dealership), and although in good shape I found the rear axle is an ‘open rear’ (non-positraction) after Donny swore it was posi-traction. Then this slippery salesman started going over the warranty and stated the powertrain warranty, if I needed to use, would require me to FLATBED OR TOW THE TRUCK FROM LONG ISLAND to his dealership in PA! But he said at least it will cost me hundreds and not thousands of dollars, and that I should somehow be grateful that I had such a great warranty, but of course he did not speak of the inconvenience of not having my vehicle and renting a car if it were to be laid up. And of course if it was laid up for weeks it COULD POSSIBLY COST ME IN THE THOUSANDS. Then of course, Donny had to ‘speak to his manager’ to find out what was really the situation with the warranty, and of course he found we NEED NOT return to PA if a major powertrain issue occurred. He also added another $1400 plus fee to the price claiming that they had to perform service to the truck before they sold it and that this fee, which I could refuse to pay, would be added to the price. So much for the salesman knowing his job, and knowing his product. When I walked out the door in disgust waiting for my wife to return with some water and snacks for the ride home, a little manager came outside to try to convince me to still buy the truck and that he was in ‘negotiations’ with the owner and that we were only a mere $400 away from removing that added fee. I told this guy to go ‘take a walk’, and his response was ‘oh you want me to walk with you’? In other words we are still negotiating. How disrespectful! My wife is a first responder in New York, and although they said we would get a first responder discount, that never materialized. The only thing that did materialize was magical fees and ‘gotta speak to my manager’ games. That day off work cost us a lot of money. When we left, I stopped by other dealerships in the area and mentioned my experience to at least 7 other people/couples walking around looking for cars and trucks, so I did my job to spread the word about these dishonest people at Allentlown Kia. So you really gotta think long and hard about dealing with such a dishonest dealership whose games and added fees come into play when they think that you will still purchase because you drove there from a far away area. Take pics of the online advertisement when you see it because they will change the price on you – such underhanded practices at this dealership! Take a look at the BBB website if you need to see more proof. BUYERS BEWARE!

We do this because we care and try to do what other dealers won't. Our price, even with the fees you refused to acknowledge that most every dealership has, was under KBB Fair Purchase Price as well as retail value, for which we showed you. To prevent an unpleasant experience we offered to waive as much of that as possible to earn your business. Well under what anyone could sell this vehicle for. Clearly, it was more about leaving a bad review, and name calling our staff members, than purchasing a truck. We wish you and the dealership you decide to purchase from the best. After two days of being in one disappointing dealership after another, we arrived at Allentown Kia. I have owned Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Ford and now Kia. I love my Optima most of all and have had zero problems with it. Best of all, the service department at Allentown Kia is the best. They get me in and out fast and prices are always good. I am always greeted with a smile and it seems like everyone who works there is happy and enjoys it which makes dealing with them even better.
