PenFed Credit Union Eglin Pkwy, Shalimar

Bought 3 pick trucks through PenFed , no problem ! They were 1% cheaper than Navy Credit Union !

PenFed has made the simplest of tasks, issuing a used car loan, the worst financial experience I have ever had with a bank. Initially the approval process was fairly simple, but once it became important to get the details correct with issuing the check, the incompetence became obvious. First the check was made out to the wrong parties, then cancelling that check and reissuing, in a single party name required approval. Thanks to those delays, asking for it to be overnighted directly to the current lien holder required approval. Got that too. Then an hour later after providing them the address, it suddenly wasn’t approved (just to be mailed directly to the lender), until all of a sudden, after another hour on hold, it was……again. Then, after signing and uploading the additional required documents since it was being mailed directly to the lender (wasn’t required when they mailed it to me, incorrectly the 1st time). 7 days later, checking with the original lender to verify receipt of the proceeds, I had to call PenFed again (I think my 10th call, and hours 5, maybe 6 on the phone with them) because they weren’t received, come to find out they overnighted the check to ME again. After multiple additional calls straightening out the address AGAIN, they won’t overnight to a P O BOX, which is fine, I had the physical address, but they won’t send it there either because part of the address says lockbox, EVEN THOUGH ACURA’S SITE STATES THAT PHYSICAL ADDRESS AS THERE OVERNIGHT ADDRESS! The level of incompetence is unmatched, and had I not already funded a portion of the loan myself, I would not keep this loan here. Save yourself the headache, get your loan elsewhere, but in the spirit of todays climate, all but one of the rep’s were suuuuuuper nice, while they wasted hours upon hours of my time. And they still charged all the overnight fees, ridiculous

The entire staff at this branch is amazing, such a pleasure to deal with. I specifically worked with Melissa a few times and she was always professional, courteous, and just provides overall exceptional care and service! Now I just hope PenFed will continue to open more branches for us here in Florida...

This credit union can not be trusted. They lie. My experience with Pen Fed was a nightmare. Zero customer service. Zero respect for their customers. Response time is days or weeks. I cannot speak of the experience in the branch as I've never been in a branch.

The ladies that work here are amazing the credit union itself is a joke. If you drive for uber or lyft and do a instant express pay you won't receive the funds for 48 hours or more lol what a joke. I will never use penfed ever again seems like a bunch of sheisty investors if you ask me.

Hey I needed some help on purchasing a vehicle and to see if I could jump into a lower interest rate and I am telling you the PenFed gave me the help I needed and they followed up with and was ready to speak for when it came down to do the deal. The team PenFed is a team so many should be apart of. Thanks again.

Shalimar PenFed C.U. has the best staff of any banking facility I've used in the area. They truly care about their customers. I'm so grateful to belong to such a caring group.

I have been a member of PenFed since 1972, have used their car loan service many times, and have ALWAYS been very pleased with their service and low rates on loans. The folks at the Shalimar branch are first-rate, and always work to satisfy any concerns I might have. My highest recommendation for this excellent Credit Union.

I absolutely love PenFed!!! They have been so amazing to work with and they seem to really care about the Memebers and going above and Beyond to help us.. Gelin and Coralee are such great people!! Always greeting me and coming to talk with me every time my husband or myself come in.. I'm SO glad that I finally switched banks!!!! What a Relief!!

Best experience I have had in a long time. Everyone was great and knowledgeable. I highly recommend penfed to anyone that wants the gold star treatment.
