I’ve purchased an Xbox, laptop, speaker, games for different consoles. If I needed a TV I would come here first for the simple fact that they always have reasonable prices for the great condition a lot of their stuff are. This last time I went to swap out a pair of headphones (just didn’t fit me nothing wrong) and they swapped it out for these beats studio 3 and I’ve never been more satisfied in my life, im always a happy customer when I walk out and return. Amazing staff!!! The guys working during my visit, Eric and Oscar, are super knowledge about their stock (which is very neat and very varied, but tends to lean toward the movie/TV collectables) and made my visit a joy! Clean, unique, and overall enjoyable. I'd recommend this place to anybody looking to buy or sell.

I don't usually at all Don't write reviews about places and I had to this time cause when u get great and honest service I think its only right that they get the credit that they deserve. I have a great nose for judging character and Patrick is awesome. I just met Ozzie,but I can tell Ozzie is honest and awesome as well. And there is a very nice lady there too,but I didn't catch her name. Ozzie seen i had a pocket watch and with me and without me even asking, he gave me a phone number and address to a place where I can get it checked out. I'll definitely be coming back here. Quick response to e-mail inquiry led me to this shop. Erick is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and a clear communicator. The store has a clean spacious layout with everything clearly placed on shelves & on wall. Instead of buying jewelry, comics based items, sports collectibles, or musical instruments that are new, consider stopping in and buying something from EZPawn shop.

It was amazing I called for something and got it set aside and when I came it was a fast and easy process without much trouble

I have not been out in awhile, but I stopped by this local pawn shop that I saw while driving around the neighborhood, and I can honestly say I was really happy with my visit. I loved how the shop looked and how everything was organized! And also the workers in the shop were very friendly! I am looking forward coming here more often.

I have been here twice, Both times I have purchased a guitar. The. Customer service is top notch. They know what they have on their shelves, have very fair prices and are more than whiling to work with customers on price. I can't speak on the pawn/loan aspect of things as I haven't pawned anything. But, I do enjoy their friendly service and I truthfully don't go to other pawn shops aside from Pawn Chicago; Great people.

This is a very cool pawnshop, just to start with. Then I got to know the people that work there, and I am impressed. This is not your typical every day pawnshop. they are very helpful and very reasonable people. Plus if you are a toy collector this is definitely a must see places

I’m not one to leave reviews, simply because I think it’s a waste of time, but for this business, I feel that it’s a MUST!!! This is a family owned business and is by far, hands down, THE BEST pawn shop in Chicago. There’s no comparison to this pawn shop. They understand that you’re there pawning your items and taking out a loan for a reason. I’ve had terrible luck throughout my life and have had to pawn many things. I’ve gone to other pawn shops and have only had the 30-day period. Recently I’ve lost my job, but fortunately got hired very fast somewhere else and Marguerite (I believe I spelled her name right) understood and took into consideration what was going on in my situation. She extended my loan and was VERY understanding. I give every single person here 5 stars individually and as a team. Thank you so much to the family at Pawn Chicago, you’ve put me at ease with the thought of my stuff being safe and not sold off because I couldn’t meet my deadline. This store is the cleanest Pawn Shop in America . I go to a lot of them all throughout the United states to buy electronics. Tne staff is extremely courteous and beyond fair. Erick is fantastic. And the place is a fantastic experience.

Went in there today to sell some jewelry and Margaret( I believe that’s what she her name is) was very friendly and helpful. She answered all my questions and even assured me if I need anything else she is there most days and I can always call or come in. Although I didn’t sell my jewelry she actually said I could just get a loan which I did and helped me out more than just selling it. I will definitely come back.

Terribly disappointed with my 2 recent visits. Quality of customer service was most alarming. I have been to this pawn shop 5 times over the years and this was definitely my last visit. Current prices of merchandise and tools in store have been going up and customer offers have been going down. Some things to keep in mind after my most recent visit. I was told that they no longer buy indoor or outdoor speakers. The staff has also lost the ability to provide any pricing information without checking Ebay. I was quoted 3 prices that were surprisingly low, then I find out items were not available on Ebay and they couldn't find model number so they just looked for something similar to inform me about current prices. I understand that they need to make a profit but it has become a joke and my business has moved elsewhere.

Without a doubt the best customer experience I have ever had. I dealt with two people the last time I was in and they were the best at helping me out. I stop in about every two weeks to see what is new (always looking for power tools). Anthony and Marguerite always make sure I am taken care of and offer me GREAT prices. I don't stop anywhere else!!! I used to go to a few other pawn shops but stopped after my first time a Pawn Chicago. Thanks for all your help!!!!!!

Came down to look at a bass amp, store was very clean, and the diverse stock was well organized.Not enough can be said about the staff, very friendly and professional! Couldn't recommend this shop for anybody seeking bedroom amps, power tools, and especially those looking for comics and comic memorobilia. Get here.

I've never been in a pawn shop in my life. Upon entering, a lady greeted me. She was very welcoming, professional and helpful. Her name is Marguerite. She extended her hand and shook my hand and introduced herself. She made me feel very comfortable (I was a bit nervous not knowing what to expect). We proceeded with our business transaction. I brought in a brand new Bissell steamer (for hardwood floors and tiles). It was in its original box (box was never opened before). I wasn't sure if I could sell this item or not. It was an older model. Even though it was brand new they did not purchase this item. I appreciated their honesty. She explained the process of how they do business. That is, how their pawn shop works, which I appreciated. They purchased the guitar from me for only $40 (I was hoping to get more $$ but this was not the case). I remember I had a 14-karat gold snake chain necklace doubled up and wrapped around my ankle. I removed it and asked, "What is this worth?" She said, "$60." Although I knew it was worth more (since gold has gone way up) I took the cash. My goal for that day was to get at least $150, but I walked out with only $100. Nevertheless, I was OK with what they gave me (they have to make a profit selling the items -- I get it). I needed to make $100 to pay off a speeding ticket. I didn't want my husband to find out I got a speeding ticket. LOL (From the Pawn Shop I went directly to the facility to pay-off my speeding ticket). EZ come! EZ go! LOL The pawn shop is very clean and very well organized. I appreciated that they showed me, on their computer, what an item is worth or what an item sold for at eBay. I found the people who run/own/manage the pawn shop to be very honest and transparent. They provided me with facts, and made the transaction very easy. They asked me, upfront, if I wanted a loan or if I was there to sell. I said, "I am interested in selling these items. I do not want or need a loan." The transaction was done in a small private room behind a glass door and glass windows. MARGUERITE was very helpful, professional and made my experience easy. I ended up giving away the Bissell floor steam cleaner to a CTA Bus Driver who was inside the pawn shop. I didn't sell it, but was happy to give it away to someone. The reason for my 4 star rating is because they do not have a parking lot. It is street parking only, and "Pay to Park." There is a parking lot 1-block away on the west side of Central Ave (South of Belmont). Two days later, Marguerite left a voicemail thanking me for being a new customer. This is customer service that goes above and beyond. Wow, impressive! Parking is FREE in the parking lot. I managed to find a legal parking spot on the side street behind Tony's Finer Foods. DO NOT park at Tony's Finer Foods -- I saw someone's vehicle getting towed on 6/10/2019.

I've been to a few pawn shops in my time and I got to say pawn Chicago is by far the best one I've been too. Margaret, is very honest and will work with you. I brought in a ps4 and some games and asked if I can get a loan, i was short on my rent and I asked for the amount I needed and she worked it out for me! Thank you again Margaret...

Awesome place! They help anyway they could. If you forget about your stuff they will call you and remind you that the date is coming up and they actually try to work with you!!!! Unlike some other pawn shops i have dealt with.

There's only three Pawn shop's I go to in Chicago .that i think are authentic Pawn shop's in the sense that you can get a good deal and the price is negotiable maybe not on everything but on most ..other Pawn shop's charge big box prices for thrift store product.. With 24 hour warranty.. If you can believe that.... That y Pawn Chicago to me is one of the best or if not the Best Pawn shop in Chicago !30 day warranty beat prices on games .game consoles. Lab tops and more. And on top of the employees are as genuine as the store authentic.. Check it out your self and you'll see what I'm talking about...

Pawn Chicago, in my view, is considered a hidden gem for pawn shops in Chicago. They are located at 5604 W. Belmont Ave. (On the North side of the street, just west of Central Ave.), on Chicago's Northwest Side. The are Upon entering, you are greeted kindly. The owner, Marguerite, and her son, Oscar, were very friendly! The sales floor is is very well organized. The decor brings you a comfortable feeling and the air is fresh! This place isn't like those corporate or seedy pawn shops of lore! They have a nice selection of toy and movie collectibles, great for serious collectors. They also have tools, musical instruments, and various electronics, including video games and systems. If you're looking for jewelry or coins, they have those also! Definitely a great place to find cool gifts for your loved ones!

I met with Eric and i was selling a ring. He did an excellent job informing me on what type of gold, how strong, which also made me feel more confident i. even writing this! They were very helpful and honest. They want you to get what you came for you know and if they can’t help they give you other options! I enjoyed their service and would go again.

I am a big fan of pawn shops, I have not seen a lot in the area before but I had stumbled upon this shop and let me tell you it was something different! I was greeted very kindly and everyone seemed so friendly!! This shop is one of a kind, with great designs! I was so excited because I noticed they had guitars and I love guitars they had quite the selection at the shop! I cannot wait to start coming here more often :)

So I recently went into pawn Chicago just to check out the inventory, and the moment I walked in I was immediately greeted by Eric who was extremely helpful and informative about what I was looking for, then I met Oscar as well as the owner, who were both also very nice and awesome individuals, from that moment I started to literally spend my breaks just hanging in their pawn shop, I've also bought 2 of my TV's from them as well as alot of collectibles when they receive new stock, so its safe to say I will continue to give them my money not just for their collectibles but also because of how amazing the entire staff is!!! I walked in there today for the 1st time based on the reviews I read here on Google. As I walked in I was greeted by the staff where a gentlemen named Eric introduced himself to me and explained that he would be the one that would be helping me today. I was very pleased with his knowledge on the item I brought in, He even explained the process of how they do things especially being family operated. It was a very good decision I made to travel a little further to visit them, I really felt comfortable especially when they do everything possible to get you a good price on something you might be bringing in.

The guys there were really nice and friendly, they place looked incredible, by far the best pawn shop I have ever seen! Great and very clean shop. Got taking care by Patrick when I bought video games and he always gives me the best price possible. They always have a variety of games for better prices than Gamestop. If you are a game head than go check them out.

If you're looking for the best pawn shop in the world, this is it. Rick and the Old Man ain't got nothing on this place. Hands down. I refuse to use any other business for collateral loans. I was in a bind and I couldnt make my date. They worked with me all the way until I saw through my problem. I've never had that type of customer service from a pawn shop. In fact I've always had a gritty feeling going to a pawn shop. Not this one. Not only will they give you top dollar on your loans.. But they also have some amazing stuff to choose from when just shopping.. This place is nostalgia heaven. If you don't use Pawn Chicago, then what the hell are you even doing with your life?!

Greatest pawn shop ever! Very fair with their prices in buying, loaning, and selling. Not to mention you'll find items here you won't find anywhere else. They have the typical jewelry and electronics like other shops, but what I love the most is the nostalgia. There's vintage toys, comics, and memorabilia from as far back as I can remember all the way to as recently as a few months ago. And these days it seems "nerdy" stuff is more popular than its ever been. I have a collection of comics, including a graded copy of amazing spiderman #1 in good condition that I would never part with. Till I found this shop my only options would be to sell it if I needed cash, but because of what items this shop specializes in I know I can go get a loan anytime I need and not have to worry about loosing my most treasured comic book. All the employees I've dealt with have been more than helpful and willing to work with the customer to make everything as fair as possible on both ends. Most pawn shops just try to rip people off and profit as much as they can without looking out for the customer. Not these guys. They are truly above the rest. I can't stress enough how great this place is, I hope they stay in business for many many years to come and I'm looking forward to doing much more business with them in the future. It’s a pawn shop but it doesn’t feel like one. The people working there have a very welcoming atmosphere. They always try to take care of me and other customers being very knowledgeable in the items in the store. So, very helpful haven’t been to a pawn store like this one.

The people who works there made my shopping experience that more great, never would I have thought I was at a pawn shop. Here at pawn shop they not only treat you fair but they treat you like family. Whether you are here to get a loan or to just sell they give you fair and honest prices. They not only have a wide selection of the usual stuff like jewelry power tools TVs but they also have toys and collectibles which is a rarity in this business. I've been dealing with them since they opened seven years ago and never had any problems. Eric is such a great guy he is so likable and will make you feel right at ease you're good in his capable hands. Horrible experience. Not able to sell anything and always giving unrealistic prices. Took an apple watch series 3 and they were only trying to give me $50 for it and Cash America gave me $100. Another time I tried selling them other items like a macbook pro 2015 and again same issue trying to give me an unrealistic price. Finally I tried selling percussion items and said they'd take it in and changed their mind and said they wouldn't. Very horrible service and they try to take advantage of you.

I never thought I would see so many varieties of Xboxes !! I was so blown away and happy loved the customer service as well ! I was really satisfied with how my visit went and I cannot wait to come back and see more of the great stuff they have!

If I could give this place more stars I definitely would. Great place that always is able to help you out when needed. The value that is given for pawns is definitely better then other places I've been too. As for there inventort, everything is stock is priced at an affordable rate. Definitely getting another tv from this place ASAP.
