I have used Brogan at Patriot Mortgage to purchase our first home 10 years ago and then just recently for the purchase of our second home. Brogan and his team helped us through every step of the loan process always answering any questions we may have in a kind, respectful and professional manner. The loan process was easy and completed before our scheduled closing date. I will definitely use Patriot Mortgage again if we ever decide to buy another house.

Brogan and his team helped us close quickly on our house. Everything was in order at closing. He and his staff were always friendly and professional with my husband and I. We will use Patriot Mortgage again without reservation and recommend him to others.

Just recently bought a house. This is the 4th time I have worked with Brogan and his team at Patriot Mortgage. He and his staff have always taken good care of us. Why else would we go back for a 4th time!!! Brogan has always gotten us the best loan rate available, which overall has saved us a lot of money. Buying a house or refinancing, I would definitely go back!

Brogan is “The Man” to call when you have mortgage questions and/or need a loan! I have used his expertise a few times. He’s knowledgeable, concise, responsive, and professional. He saved my son thousands of dollars on his very first home loan! I would surely recommend that you call his office if you have questions about a home loan or to refinance!

Brogan did a great job closing our home loan on time and with an interest rate that was lower than many other estimates. Our appraisal was a challenge and did not come in at value, but Brogan gave excellent advice that helped us get it done without any issues.

In my professional career I had the opportunity to deal with many mortgage companies. Patriot Mortgage (Brogan) and their support team were superior to any others I have dealt with. I had some Veterans' issues and of those brokers I talked to, Brogan was the most informed and responsive. Here it is a few years later - I went back to them and received the same great treatment.

I've enjoyed working with Brogan Weybright and his team at Patriot Mortgage! As a local Realtor I'm using them for my personal mortgage as they were the only lender who was able to get me the loan I needed without waiting 6 months for a refinance (given my situation). They were also the most affordable when compared to other local, reputable lenders.

In applying for a mortgage, there are a lot of things that can happen. All sorts of ways it can go wrong. Brogan and his team will do the best to make sure that does not happen. Its amazing what sort of magic tricks they can pull out of their hat in order to get you a mortgage. There's some comfort to be had in being able to easily call them up and speak to someone directly on the phone during the process.Their responsiveness, and willingness to answer any and all (stupid even) questions is unparalleled. Having someone actively looking for the best rate and fit of a mortgage for you is something that you just cant get with one of the online lenders. Most of these bad reviews I've seen here are from angry people who couldn't get a loan. Sometimes people just don't have their finances in order to get a mortgage - that comes down to their own personal responsibility. You can't blame Patriot if no one will lend to your sub-300 credit score. The other bad review looks to be from someone who didn't happen to even have a loan application - just an angry tenant - that has nothing to do with Patriot Mortgage. All in all, I've gotten 2 home loans and a refinance through Patriot, and they have always treated me well, and ALWAYS found the best rate. You just can't do better than to have an actual agent working for you in this search. Save yourself the headache of finding a needle in a haystack, and leave it to Patriot to find you the best rate that's out there. Their resources are far greater than we can have as average citizens.

I am giving this establishment one star because there isn't a thumbs down option. Our experience with this branch was a very costly waist of time. We really feel sorry for the folks that were trying to buy our house using this company. They strung us along for 3 months continuously assuring us that the loan was "Golden" and the paperwork would be filed in days. We were asked to change the close date 3 different times. The last time they asked for an extension we put in our contract that the earnest money would be non-refundable if they didn't meet the closing date. We went to the Title company and signed closing docks on the said date and headed out with moving trucks and caravan of friends helping us move out of state. We were called by our realtor the following morning informing us that the buyers didn't sign. The loan papers were never filed again. We gave them another extension which they did not meet again and at that time we let the contract expire collecting the non-refundable earnest money. With all of the extension we gave them we also had to ask the seller of the house we were buying for extensions with the end result being that we lost the house. BEWARE! I would consider this company not very reputable and really not true to their word. When we entered into a contract with the buyers we researched Patriot Mortgage of Cottage Grove and the one review stated that the couple had been waiting for 2 years to get their loan. We should have taken that review to heart.

The owner Brogram lied and lost us 4k on the purchase of our new home. Note: Ed Leroys review! Ed was the seller. We just noticed Ed has left a review as well. For months after selling our home we had to live in a camper because he lied to us about the purchase of our new home. Every week he would say to us it was a done deal and that we would be getting the keys...give him more money for something, then he would ignore us for days. Repeat, repeat! He was always extremely vague with us and barely ever returned our calls. The only reason we used his company to begin with is because we trusted him due to having a current lease by him at the time. And with that he also stole our money...Brogan is a crook and scum bag. He's a slum lord. We have now came to the end of our lease with the property we were leasing from him. He even kept our 7k Deposit that he promised to return to us after we decided not to re-sign our lease with him. We let him keep thousands of dollars in equipment THOUSANDS!!! He convinced us we could leave it, we just wanted to walk away and were happy to agree on getting our deposit back. Here we go again! No return calls! No 7k. We also upgraded his property by thousands. DO NOT TRUST HIM WITH YOUR MONEY!!!!!
