Palace Pawnbrokers Fourth Ave, San Diego

Guess I should have did my research before buying a Lenovo tab m8 for $100 before tax. I looked it up and you can pick one up new today at Best buy for $109. The one I bought at the pawn shop seems to function well but does have minor scratches and dings and a small discoloration in the screen in one section. I really would have been better off just buying a new one but you live and learn so maybe I'll just walk by this pawn shop the next time and not go in. Everthing used has a depreciated value and should not be selling that close to retail.

I've have used many pawn shops in the past when I was in a pinch. Some are okay, some are super shady. My experience with Palace was awesome! I offered what I wanted for my item and the owner knowing he was being offered a reasonable price accepted my offer, no low ball no haggle. He could of haggled but he was super friendly and so was his entire staff. Thanks guys!!

The owner Jeff have been and consistently very customer focused with excellent customer service as well as all his staff. I always will come back here to pawn and buy jewelry because the price is very reasonable and fair. The staff are all honest there was one time that I was $100 short and they gave me the $100 without any problem. I would recommend this place to all. I would like to add today 12-29-2019, I am still very satisfied with this pawn shop and their staff specially the owner have big hearts and outstanding customer service. I recommend to all this shop. I say best pawn shop in San Diego and in the gaslamp the staff are friendly. Excellent service lot of cool items for sale too. If you're looking for good place to pawn items this is the place to go for good on loan payouts for your items and reasonable prices. I just paid a 100.00 for apple airpods that pretty much brand new and they threw in a new charger cord. Oh also it helps being two blocks away from them close to my apartment right up 4th Ave.

The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. For any items you want to pawn, the amount is fair. There is a large variety of diamond jewelry, gold chains and musical instruments. The business is in a central downtown location making it convenient to stop in for a quick visit while on lunch where you can find just about anything you're looking for. Good service and courteous people are what makes you return again and again.

This is definitely the best pawn shop downtown. They legitimately price the gear i have purchased (musical gear mostly) and i really feel like they have tried to work with me on the level no BS when i come in with something to sell or loan. Screw the banks, this is where i go when i need for some unexpected financial issue.They even stock guitar strings which is a huge perk (thanks guys!) And the icing on the cake (besides the vast selection of watches, jewelery, bikes electronics and miscellaneous useful things) is the skeleton pirate who greets me at the door. Undead pirates FTW. \m/
