My experience with them was fantastic. My wife and I just bought our first home and we were referred to Rodney. He is very knowledgeable and patient. We closed ahead of schedule. I highly recommend their services.

I was referred to Option Funding by a relative who had recently completed a refinance with them. They were easy to work with. I've worked with some other mortgage companies in the past but this was by far the smoothest. I look forward to working with them again.

I am financial adviser working in Calabasas. I happened to trust one of the brokers at Option funding, Camelo and trust him for our client refinancing. The problem was that everything didn't go the way he initially planned and mentioned. It took 8 months. I understand things won't always go as plan but there is no communication what is happening and when it will happen and I have no idea how many times I have to call and text to get an update for my client. The client was worried that he was not even sure he could trust this place. The worst thing was that his service was not professional at all. It was not pleasant to work with him. I won't recommend due to the frustration and lack of passion for his work. Lastly, he promised to give us a referral commission to be compensated. It never happened. I lost credibility from my other business partners because this client was initially sent to me and I decided to introduce to him. Just lacking of integrity.

Never in my life been so disappointed with any company! The only reason they were given a star with me is because the system will not allow you to rate or comment with out selecting at least one star. We started the Rifi & cash loan process late April beginning of May 2016; we were repeatedly asked to provide new documentation; while being asked to resign contracts with Carrington in which the numbers kept changing. Granted this process get frustrating however even when things would get patched up; every-time we hit a road block the blame got put on the VA. Mind you this is even after the VA supposedly approved our application for refinance and loan. Here it is November and still my husband and I are no where. We asked them to close our application 11/6/16 and are starting this head ache all over because these people either lie to your face or are so unorganized that they do not function in an effective manner. Mitch always had an excuse for missed calls or why the process took more than the 45-60 days this whole process should have taken. But according to Mitch its all the VAs fault and he is at the mercy of the underwriters. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY; unless you like spinning your wheels and being aggravated.
