Look no further! I scoured for the lowest possible rate through direct lenders and a few brokers. Rates were very competitive with all BUT Valerie the owner and Mikes interest rates were significantly lower than all the rest! They beat out everyone, no joke! Very experienced long standing family company who has great lender relations. You won’t find a more honest company and LOWER rate anywhere. They will work hard on tricky loans too. So happy I picked Community first mortgage! :)

Lowest interest rate, with fastest closing time (5-10 days), in all the homes I have bought so far and this is my fourth home purchase !! Excellent support from Brian, Laura and Michael. They answered all my questions satisfactorily, usually in matter of minutes. On occasions I needed to speak with Brian or Laura, I was always able to speak with them over the phone each time. Never had to call back. Buying a house at this time (April-May 2021) in California is nothing short of blood sport. Working with community first mortgage was the only thing that brought smile and comfort to us in this process. They were able to get loan approval in 2 days after document submission. We requested a last minute change to the loan document (adding impounds) on the closing day, and they worked with the lender (underwriters) to update the whole loan document in less than an hour and get it approved so we could close the same day. I'm not sure where to begin with the praise for Valerie, Alex, and their team at Community First. Valerie and Alex were wonderful when I purchased my first home in 2017 and my fiancé and I were ready to sell both of our homes last year and started the process in late November. At the time we were referred to another lender (Referral Lending in case you want to see this review too). We were deeply unhappy with that contact but this isn't about him. This is about how we desperately called Valerie and her team in January, with 19 days left before closing on both of our homes and still without a loan. Valerie fact gathered and worked her magic. She was honest, straightforward, and communicative. I can't say enough how much I value her and her whole team's diligence and constant communication during this time. We were so worried that we would end up in a situation where we chased our dream home and entered into a contingency purchase agreement, and would sell both of our homes and we would have to rent an apartment because we wouldn't get a loan in time. Thank you Neil and Alex for making the mortgage process surprisingly stress-free. Community First had the best rates and they were very forthcoming about all the fees associated with the home purchase. Other lenders I talked to were not as forthcoming about disclosing rates and fees. In addition, both Neil (loan officer) and Alex (loan processor) were very informative, responsive, and kind when we had questions or wanted clarification about the process.
